Mini churros

So sweet in every way! I was shocked at how La Michoacana has totally revamped the old Jimmy John's spot. The former red booths have been transformed into hot pink and the entire interior made me feel like I was at Disney World. Extremely clean, neon colors, ice cream lights, ice cream wallpaper dripping off the walls, a claw machine, 2 million popsicle flavors, ice cream, mangonadas, shakes, churros, aqua frescas, and everything imaginable including a Doritos combo named "Dori Locos" as a savory snack. The hours are also beautiful as they stay open until 9 pm. The parking is extremely easy having a connected free lot and the service was extraordinary as every staff member was available to help with any questions. I cannot wait to bring my family here. Wow, wow, wow! I wish you much success. This is a beautiful addition to Saint Paul.

Been wanting to stop by this place and finally I did it. Order Fresas con crema with a scoop of ice cream on top. A very delicious option for a dessert in the summer for sure. They have variety choice of pastries, drinks, ice creams, snacks as well. Will definitely come again to try other items on their menu.

Finally! A Michoacana in my own neighborhood! For those of you who don't know, Michoacana are basically Mexican-based ice cream shops with an assortment of flavors and fun desserts! Located on Snelling Ave by the Speedway, this place has a lot of parking and a colorful pink interior! Don't be too shocked when you see the menu! There's a lot to choose from so you're bound to find something you like/love. I got the churro bites with the ferrero ice cream. The crispy churros mixed with the ice cream and strawberries makes for an excellent afternoon snack! Highly recommend for everyone!

Great location! Great decoration! Great service! The place is well decorated and the staff are kind. Perfect place for a sweet treat in the hot summer weather. I tried the Mangonada, it was super good! Great balance between the tanginess of the chamoy and the sweetness of the mango. I also got a churro. It was fresh and delicious. It was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The esquite had a bit too much cream but still very cheesy and yummy.

No cheese on the Cheetos absolutely disgusting

I would give 0 stars if I could. Ice cream was very nasty very sour and sloppy, not to mention the mangoniada was not even a mangoniada it didn't even come with Chamoy on the cup barley any on the top, the walking tacos looked disgusting just a big chunk of meat, and my ice cream popsicle looked like it had been in the freezer for weeks employee used the same utensils for each ice cream as well and Cheetos had barely any cheese not mention they didn't give me one of my orders spent 92 dollars for absolutely trash. Never going back there and do not recommend going please check reviews before.

at least the paleta was good, but how can you mess that up!

The space is modern, charming, and fits perfectly into the beautiful, peaceful neighborhood. Compared to the St. Paul location, which I find a bit too busy, this café felt much more relaxed and enjoyable. The service was friendly and helpful, making the experience even better. I'm already a big fan of Marc Heu's pastries, so I had to grab some of my favorites. The Kouign Amann was perfectly crisp, buttery, and caramelized as always. I also picked up the Croissant Donut featuring this month's flavor--a pistachio cream filling topped with orange cream which was absolutely delicious. I also tried their new limited-time Croissant Ice Cream Cornet, a soft serve ice cream served inside one of their buttery croissants. Unfortunately, it wasn't a hit. This week's soft serve flavor was croissant and the combination of textures and fat left a thick, heavy aftertaste that wasn't quite for me. That said, I'd definitely give it another try when they rotate to a different soft serve flavor. All in all, Marc Heu continues to be one of my favorite spots for unique, upscale pastries. The Linden Hills location is especially worth a visit for its welcoming atmosphere and excellent service.

The young man at the counter offered me an extensive menu of regular coffees, espresso drinks and specialty drinks, all of which could be made hot or cold. They also have a variety of milk selections. Unfortunately, they were out of skim milk today, but he offered to tweak the amount when I told him that the main reason I usually had skim milk was to enhance the coffee flavor(and their coffee really tasted good). Additionally, he offered to make my drink in my personal cup which was great since I hate to use plastic whenever I can. This location is only a half block from United Hospital and all its various buildings and there is no good coffee within that entire complex. It's definitely worth getting a breath of fresh air and taking a block and a half stroll to have a great cup of Joe! By the way, although I tried hard not to look, their pastry case looked scrumptious, filled with homemade pies by the slice and other goodies. Since they are so close to the hospital it's really nice that they also have a lovely display of fresh cut flowers. Next time I'm down here I'm going to stop in for a meal. If the food is as good as the coffee I think I'll become a regular.

The latte had great flavor without being overly sweet, and the croissant was fresh, flaky, and full of chocolate. Highly recommend if you're looking for a good coffee spot in St. Paul.

My husband and I loved how lightly sweetened both the cream and the dough were. My tween was a little indifferent and would've preferred something non-cream filled with more sugar, but that's a tween for you. It's a smaller space with some seating, but the seating doesn't have windows, so we opted to walk across and enjoy our donuts while wandering the farmers market instead -- honestly a perfect way to eat them. If you're a donut lover, put this place on your list even if you have to park and walk a bit. Worth it.

It seems that they are rightly known for their sweet baked goods, hence the name, but they have some savory offerings as well. I had heard good things about their congee so I made a point to try that. It was good! Filling, plenty of meat. I also have had a unique, savory roll that was buttery and great, I forgot what it's called but it's good. And I had a Lychee Rose brioche donut. Decadent! Delicious. Loved it. I got a Vietnamese coffee one time that was great, and a matcha milk with ube foam that was also great. So, yeah, really everything I've had has been great! The opening hours are painfully limited. They are only open from 9am to 1pm on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. And both times I came it was close to noon and they were sold out of LOTS of things. I'm convinced that if you go there because you want something specific, you simply can't trust them to have it available. Instead of planning a specific visit, the wiser approach would be to give them a look if you're in the area during one of the 12 hours they are open in a given week, and see if you're interested in what they aren't sold out of. They have an indoor counter which you get to via the main entrance on 4th street, and guessing your way through the halls until you find them past that gallery. There is also a seating section which has the ambience of a break room at a DMV. But there is also an outdoor window on Saturday & Sunday, with some seats set up in the alley; that description sounds dicey but it's perfectly fine. My hope is that they improve on some of this to make for a more predictably positive experience!

There is a self-order kiosk or you can order at the counter. Food was mid in all honesty. The Strawberry Matcha Ice Cream was probably one of the biggest misses I have ever had. It is vanilla ice cream with strawberry jam at the bottom, and whisked matcha (still warm!) on TOP of the ice cream, making it a major spill hazard. This was pretty disappointing since we were expecting actual matcha ice cream (and maybe it was wrong of us to assume so). I wish the kiosk had images of the items for ordering though...didn't seem like there were any and you just had to hope that what you're getting sounds intriguing enough just by the name. Boba Ice Cream (brown sugar syrup) was okay. The brown sugar syrup was what was saving the entire thing. It's aesthetically cute, but it doesn't wow me. Def a cute spot, but it's only Instagrammable foods. Not worth for the taste though :(
