I then go ahead and tell one of the employees and she proceeds to say " did I serve you? I think not. Fast, friendly service. Excellent for kids. It has an aroma of cleaner when you walk in (which usually is a good sign it's clean, but was a little strong and can affect the product). We were greeted in Spanish (got to practice). We tried the strawberry cheesecake -- which was good, creamy. We also tried the pistachio -- which was creamy and had bits of pistachios but had a little bit of an aftertaste and almost was almost like skim milk was used instead of whole milk. This place is normally busy but saw that there was only a few people so I went in and just wanted to try a couple of scoops. I can't speak Spanish so they had someone tend to my questions, I asked for 2 of their most popular chocolate flavor, I can't remember the exact name but one was a Mexican Chocolate like Abuelita and another one like Roca candy, so I got 2 scoops each on 2 cups. They looked partially melted and it was a little soft, but I put them in the freezer and they hardened up. The Roca candy was ok, I didn't really taste the Roca but it was chocolaty. The abuelita had a little taste of Mexican Chocolate and it was good. Being that I'm older I think I prefer frozen yogurt, I'm not sure if they had it but again, I was there mainly for the ice cream, so it was a good experience. read more

Great staff! Vibrant place, very well stocked. Came in as they recently just opened. I've been following their other locations and it looked real good. As far as the 4 stars is soley on the ice cream. My son had the chocolate abuelita and I had their cappuccino. Honestly the taste was off and tasted very artificial, there was an odd after taste. I was wondering why the first Oreo tasted so below quality. Then after paying closer attention to their wrapping I realized these aren't fresh products at all. They're made in a plant out in San Fernando. Similar to the ice cream you purchase from an ice cream truck. When it comes to Michoacanas we are spoiled with the great products they make and it's freshness. Not buying ice cream from them sorry I'll stick to the ones that make their ice cream in their shops. But as a non Spanish speaker, they were panicking with each other looking for which coworkers who could speak English to us. When they did find one, the one who was panicking understood me when taking my orders more than the English speaking one that he went to go find.
