I found LA Mobile Bicycle Services because of their big sign across the repair truck. Riding my bike in Pasadena I spotted the mobile bike shop and figured I'd give them a call. I spoke with Brian who quickly offered to come and pick me up if I was involved in some sort of bike emergency, which I wasn't. I thought WOW, awesome service. My bike was okay but needed a tune-up, cleaning and my new carbon wheels needed truing. I ride an Italian Ciocc so I am usually careful about who I trust with my bike. Brian was great, new what he was talking about, invited me into his cool repair truck and I saw that he too was a cyclist. Brian did a great job cleaning up 2 bikes I had. Tightened up everything, the chains were cleaned the brakes feel great. Very reasonable price and a super chill dude. Totally forgot to tell my mom that the bikes had to be taken to clean. So he waited an extra 20 minutes until I was able to call her back about it that it was good to go. Brian was great I just bought a bike for 150.00 but it was sitting around the garage for a while so I wanted to get a tune up and new tires. I called around and took it to local shops where I would get over 2 weeks turn around and also ridiculous prices. I went to the trek store since my bike was a trek and said my total cost would be over 500. I was like I only spent 150 but I need to put in over 500 for maintenance. I called brian and he was able to give me An honest answer without going through package a-c. He really took care of my bike and has it working amazing. Look I don't know if my bike is torqued and maintenance to factory spec and for top performance but for someone who only spent 150.00 on a bike do I really need all that to ride around for exercise once in a while ? If I spent 15,000 on a bike I might want to spend more money on maintenance but even then brian would be my guy. read more
