I honestly have so many good things to say about Tony and his dealership but the main thing is that he is honest and doesn't BS. When we first walked in, Christian music was blasting on the speakers which instantly calmed my nerves about buying a used vehicle. Most places treat customers with less then perfect credit really bad but not LA Motors. They didn't judge and helped get me and my husband the cutest little Jeep commander which fits all of our family perfectly. I noticed a noice about 3 days into the purchase and when I told tony about it, he had me bring in the vehicle right away and ordered the part we needed for the repair. Truly a stand up gentlemen and we couldn't be more thankful. I'll definitely buy more vehicles from him and his lot for sure. They are friendly at first, but you basically have to threaten to sue them for selling you a half functioning car for them to fix it. They allow you to go their shop on N. Las Vegas Blvd. once you get to the shop over there they act like its two different owners and the people at this location never informed them of the problems with the car. Never buy your car from Terry because after he has your money is so rude. He's a liar and crook. I don't even know why they still allow him to work there. I wish I would have shopped around before buying my car from them. I was going to send some of my friends and family here, but now I'm not because of the unprofessional, customer service, and shadiness of the whole business. Update as 10/24/2015 called because I still have problems with my car. They refused to still correct the problems they caused until I delete this review. Said I was unprofessional for writing the review, but yet they refuse to fix my car. Avoid this place at all cost I had to have my lawyer send over two letters of intents (which took them about two months to answer to) before my car was even fixed. Even after then it took a month before my car was even returned to me (mind you for what was said to be a week worth of work). The rental car was only provide a week after them having my car (me having to call off two days in a row from work) and it still not being fixed in a timely manner. Anthony didn't rent the car himself for me. He hasn't contacted me personally to have any clarification as to know what my concerns or issues are. I don't even know who he is. The radio they put in my car is cheap. Two weeks after having my car back the parts they provides to the company (Newport Motors, of which the owner of the car repair shop our friends with the owners of L.A Motors) to fix my car are cheap and the paint is bubbling from the dash kit being spray painted (According to Newport Motors all parts came from L. PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE A CAR FROM THIS DEALER THEY ARE CROOKS! I moved to Las Vegas a couple years back and I was looking for a dependable car to get back and forth to work and my sister back and forth to school. I went to L.A. Motors and purchased a Ford Explorer at reasonable amount, during the sale everyone was nice and welcoming, they explained I would have a 30 warranty with them and an extended 2 year warranty with a third party. Two weeks after i purchased the car it started to overheat, I contacted L.A. Motors to let them know what was going on and they told me to bring it back so they could check it out. Their mechanic, who turned out not to be a certified mechanic, said i was running low on fluids. A couple days later it happened again and the same "mechanic" said he would flush out the radiator and it would be fine. Well it wasn't fine and I didn't trust what they were saying so I took it to a shop near my house and they said the car should have never been sold because the transmission was shot and that I would need a new one. I took it back to L.A. Motors and instead of them taking care of it they tried to get the third party warranty company to foot the bill for the repairs. When the warranty company denied the claim they tried to blame me for the damage saying "i shouldn't have driven it while it was overheating and that was what caused more damaged. After argue back and forth with them they finally decided to fix my truck. It took them 2 months to "fix" my truck, during that time they barely communicated with me to give any updates, when I got it back I drove it for about 4 months before it started to overheat again. I took it back to them and asked for receipts for all the work they had supposedly, they couldn't produce anything to prove they actually repaired my truck, the manager kept saying he had them filed away and it would take awhile to retrieve all the receipts. I told them they needed to repair my truck again and I wanted a different mechanic and receipts for all the parts they were using on my car. I wanted another 2 months for my car to get repaired, not sure if the repair was done correctly because shortly after getting back my brother got into a accident and totaled it. read more

I live in Las Vegas and I was just at La Motors Earlier this week , When I arrived No one seemed to want to help me , they could not find my application online and I had to re-do one on paper I left paycheck stubs and they have not called me back nor showed interest in helping me get into a pre-owned vehicle. The worst part is a few days prior to me showing up a guy named CHRIS had texted me to give him a call after I had submitted my interest and info online, when I arrived the sales person to text me was not interested in helping me and left and had someone else assist me. I had to sit arround and nothing was accomplished and nothing was meantiones about helping me get a vehicle or what the plan or downpayment would be, This was the Worst customer Service ever. DO NOT even think about going here! Apparently they do a limited inspection on the car. So, if it's not on the list, they don't report a problem. I bought a car there and 5 days later, a shit ton of problems. A 3rd party mechanic says the problems were there before I bought the car, and that the mechanics should have noticed them if they did an adequate inspection. Either the mechanics are incompetent, or they are straight up liars that will sell you a car that seems ok at first, but has obscure problems. They also have you sign a waiver that you won't file a class action lawsuit against them. I thought that was fishy... I should've listened to my gut. The manager has no customer service etiquette at all, and is unwilling to listen to the facts or help even just a little. The sales people at their Boulder location is great! The mechanics at their service department is horrible. I just bought a Ford F150 less than a month ago from them. I have already taken my truck back to the service department 5 times for the same engine issue that they won't fix even though it is suppose to be covered under their 30 day warranty. Now the engine issue has gotten worse and my truck won't start. The truck also has several safety issues that was suppose to be fixed. I use my truck for work so now I have missed work because I can drive my truck. It's like after they sell you the vehicle they don't give a crap about wether your vehicle drives or not. They don't honor their own warranties. You are basically on your own. Sorry the wonderful sales people have to suffer because of a horrible service department. There are better place out there to buy vehicles. Stay away from this place. Their level of service is the worst. Don't end up like me telling the same story. I'm writing this review on 12/29/13. I am a senior citizen. I traded in my older car plus gave cash for a newer car. To make a long story short...I signed the contract on 10/02/13. The smog certificate they gave me had expired and when I got the car smogged, it failed. It took weeks to get the car fixed to pass smog so I could register car. Then the engine, with 57000 miles on it , blew up on Boulder Hwy. An independent garage told me this engine was not the original engine. LA motors offered to replace engine at MY expense. I told them to keep the car. I lost my old car I traded in, money out of my pocket, and I have to give up my p.t.job I use to supplement my SS because I have no car. I intend to get legal advice. This past weekend, my fiancé went to L.A. Motors on Boulder Hwy. He got himself a 2007 dark blue Nissan Maxima and when he drove off, not even 2 miles away from the dealership, the car stopped and didn't turn on. My fiancé had to push it out of the street...smh. The salesperson came to where my fiancé was at and suggested that the battery was no good. So the salesperson went to buy a brand new battery and hooked it up. The car started and my fiancé drove it home. The next day Saturday, he took the car to Auto Zone to put it on the sensor machine to see what was wrong with it. Well, the crankshaft and camshaft were not reading on the machine and they warned him that it's going to drain the battery and leave him stranded if he keeps the car. We went back to the dealership and told the salesperson about the findings of the car. The salesperson asked what did my fiancé wanted to do. So he asked if there's anything else they could offer. The salesperson did not even offer to fix the issues on the Maxima. They offered him a red Ford Explorer or a white Expedition. The red Ford Explorer was what my fiancé asked to test drive, and it wasn't on that lot, it was on the lot that they have located in N. Las Vegas. Well, not sure if the salesperson assumed that I didn't speak or understand Spanish and he called a salesperson from the other lot and started talking in Spanish about the Explorer. He was asking the other guy about why did he take the truck to the other lot, and that he thought he sold the truck and then he said something about the transmission. He told us he's going to pick it up and as we walked out, I told my fiancé to be careful with buying that truck cuz the other salesperson from the other lot said something about the transmission. So, we left to have lunch while our salesperson went to pick up the truck. We came back, we checked out the truck and the salesperson brought the keys. My fiancé turned on the truck and opened the hood, then asked the salesperson if the transmission was ok cuz I heard him say "transmission" when he was having his conversation in Spanish with the other salesperson on the phone. He said that the transmission was good and we drove off to test drive it. Now why is it that we weren't even a block away from the dealership when the salesperson's manager calls and gets put on speaker and with a nasty attitude starts saying that I said that "he" said that there was something wrong with the transmission. M***er****er, you weren't even involved in that conversation. That convo was between his salesperson in that lot with the other salesperson on his other lot in N. Las Vegas. Well, I ended up in a screaming match with this fool because he was saying that I said that HE said this. Then he said that he didn't want our business, and he'll give the down payment back and to think about it...hmmmm. Sounds fishy, doesn't it? Got back after the test drive, I told my wonderful fiancé that it's kinda funny how now he wants to back down on selling you any of the vehicles. We walked back into the office and the manager was standing there behind the salesperson. The manager told us that he was going to send the Maxima to get a quote on how much $$ it was going to cost to fix and that he wasn't going to sell him the Explorer...again kinda fishy, don't you think?? Then he said if the fixing of the Maxima is too much, then he'll consider selling the Explorer, but he wasn't willing to sell it then when we were there. So, he said he'll get in contact with my fiancé on Monday (today) and tell him the outcome on the Maxima. Well, of course they weren't going to fix the Maxima or sell the Explorer, so my fiancé asked for his down payment back. They give you a paper saying they change all fluids, 2 months later heads are cracked, egr cooler and oil cooler out, mechanic says coolant was rust colored, yet they say they flushed coolant.
