My Experience with Findlay Kia - Extremely Disappointing I purchased a brand-new 2023 Kia Carnival in the summer of 2022 for $48,645.93 (paid in cash). Unfortunately, my experience has been one disappointment after another. Shortly after purchasing the vehicle, I discovered that it did not include the communication system that was discussed during the sales process. When I raised the issue, I was simply told that verbal agreements don't count. In other words, I was left with no solution. Later, while the vehicle was parked in my own driveway, the windshield suddenly cracked. The incident was captured on my dashcam, yet Kia's response was simply that it was not covered under warranty. On top of that, this vehicle has already been subject to multiple recalls, including serious safety recalls such as: "A fuel leak increases the risk of a fire." I use this vehicle commercially for guided tours, so every recall means downtime and lost revenue. Although the recall repairs are free, the vehicle is unavailable during that time. The last recall alone kept my vehicle in the shop for more two days (overnight), forcing me to cancel tours and lose income. The final straw came after a routine oil change at Findlay Kia. When I picked up the vehicle, the steering wheel was suddenly crooked. If I held the steering wheel perfectly straight, the vehicle would drift toward the curb. "See picture" During my next visit for a recall, I pointed out the issue. I was told they would inspect it. When I picked up the vehicle, I specifically asked whether everything had been fixed and was assured that it had. It hadn't. The steering wheel was still crooked the moment I drove off the dealership lot. I returned immediately and was told I would need to wait another two hours for someone to inspect it. I agreed. Then I was informed that it would cost me $130. At that point, I had enough. I told them I would be contacting Kia's corporate headquarters. The employee's response was simply: "Okay, do it. This is the Customer Service at FINDLAY KIA in Las Vegas. Unbelievable! There are two additional practices at Findlay Kia that I found particularly concerning: 1. Constant offers to buy your vehicle.Every time I drop my vehicle off for service, I receive a text message saying they are "very interested" in buying my car. If you respond, the offer is far below market value. My advice to anyone servicing their vehicle there: be cautious before accepting any offer. 2. The complimentary Multi-Point Inspection.During one inspection, I was told: "Engine oil level/condition may require attention." The interesting part? Just 510 miles (about three days) earlier, the vehicle had received a fresh oil change using Mobil 1, one of the highest-quality motor oils available. That inspection result seriously made me question how carefully these inspections are actually performed. Final Thoughts: I have owned this vehicle since new and expected much better from a nearly $50k purchase. Between the missing features, repeated recalls, warranty issues, lost business due to repair downtime, the unresolved steering problem after service, and my overall experience with the dealership, I have completely lost confidence in both Kia and Findlay Kia. Kia has just lost a long-term customer. I am genuinely disappointed by what I have experienced with a brand-new vehicle at this price point.

Tesla Model 3 with wheel damage and terrible alignment

Put money down on a car for them to hold and repair, instead they sold the car to someone else without my permission. Kekoa the salesman did not communicate with me that he was selling the car and instead texted me after he sold the car that he was refunding me my money. The manager called and said he was confused what happened and thought that I had cancelled the deal and I informed him that I had not and was actually in my car on the way to the dealership to finalize the sale. Their sales practice are pretty awful and as you talk to any of them you realize you cannot trust what they say, the kept giving different stories about the repairs that needed to be done. The 2025 Tesla Model 3 I put money down needed a repair for the car to even be useable since the alignment was so bad so they were going to repair it. Instead they sold the car to someone else without getting the required repairs done and making the car dangerous for anyone to drive especially if they use any of the electronic driving features, especially the FSD. I probably dodged a bullet and I feel sorry for whoever bought it since I know the car was not taken to Tesla for the proper repairs to be done. We already own a couple Teslas and it was obvious their staff and especially their service center do not know how to repair Teslas or they would never had a car in the condition it was in when I took it for a test drive.

We had a #Kia remanufactured transmission installed at #FindlayKia at 5325 W. Sahara Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89146. Less than 18 months and 29K miles later, the entire transmission needs to be replaced again ($3400-$3700), and Kia America denied all assistance. This is an OEM part they installed, that failed prematurely. We are extremely disappointed by the lack of accountability.

I don't see the point of make an appointment and be there for 3 hours for an oil change. Really not an expedited service.

Never thought I'd buy a car from a "vending machine." The experience was perfect. Great customer service and genuine caring attitude on making sure all of my needs were met. More recently the attitude has changed. They really don't care if you buy the car you like. They know that they will eventually sell it to someone. Because of that, the 7 day money back guarantee is just a gimmick. If the car has scratches or chip they couldn't care less. You either buy it with the damage or you don't. It's no sweat off their backs. Like I said this is my fourth Carvana purchase. They have no problem watching your sale down and returns, as they just don't care. It wasn't always like this. I think their popularity went to their head. They would rather your deal go down in flames than to fix a scratch that they should have fix before they offered it for sale. They enjoy putting you in the position of either accepting damage or returning the car. So I will probably have to live with it because I like the car and it runs good. However, this will be the last time I use them. I guess my advice is if you like a vehicle from them, all due diligence is useless since they will not negotiate under any circumstance thus making their 7 days return policy useless as leverage on a purchase. Here's a picture of the scratch that they want me to accept or return the car. Even the Carvana driver said,"the least they could do is match the paint!"
