My Experience with Findlay Kia - Extremely Disappointing I purchased a brand-new 2023 Kia Carnival in the summer of 2022 for $48,645.93 (paid in cash). Unfortunately, my experience has been one disappointment after another. Shortly after purchasing the vehicle, I discovered that it did not include the communication system that was discussed during the sales process. When I raised the issue, I was simply told that verbal agreements don't count. In other words, I was left with no solution. Later, while the vehicle was parked in my own driveway, the windshield suddenly cracked. The incident was captured on my dashcam, yet Kia's response was simply that it was not covered under warranty. On top of that, this vehicle has already been subject to multiple recalls, including serious safety recalls such as: "A fuel leak increases the risk of a fire." I use this vehicle commercially for guided tours, so every recall means downtime and lost revenue. Although the recall repairs are free, the vehicle is unavailable during that time. The last recall alone kept my vehicle in the shop for more two days (overnight), forcing me to cancel tours and lose income. The final straw came after a routine oil change at Findlay Kia. When I picked up the vehicle, the steering wheel was suddenly crooked. If I held the steering wheel perfectly straight, the vehicle would drift toward the curb. "See picture" During my next visit for a recall, I pointed out the issue. I was told they would inspect it. When I picked up the vehicle, I specifically asked whether everything had been fixed and was assured that it had. It hadn't. The steering wheel was still crooked the moment I drove off the dealership lot. I returned immediately and was told I would need to wait another two hours for someone to inspect it. I agreed. Then I was informed that it would cost me $130. At that point, I had enough. I told them I would be contacting Kia's corporate headquarters. The employee's response was simply: "Okay, do it. This is the Customer Service at FINDLAY KIA in Las Vegas. Unbelievable! There are two additional practices at Findlay Kia that I found particularly concerning: 1. Constant offers to buy your vehicle.Every time I drop my vehicle off for service, I receive a text message saying they are "very interested" in buying my car. If you respond, the offer is far below market value. My advice to anyone servicing their vehicle there: be cautious before accepting any offer. 2. The complimentary Multi-Point Inspection.During one inspection, I was told: "Engine oil level/condition may require attention." The interesting part? Just 510 miles (about three days) earlier, the vehicle had received a fresh oil change using Mobil 1, one of the highest-quality motor oils available. That inspection result seriously made me question how carefully these inspections are actually performed. Final Thoughts: I have owned this vehicle since new and expected much better from a nearly $50k purchase. Between the missing features, repeated recalls, warranty issues, lost business due to repair downtime, the unresolved steering problem after service, and my overall experience with the dealership, I have completely lost confidence in both Kia and Findlay Kia. Kia has just lost a long-term customer. I am genuinely disappointed by what I have experienced with a brand-new vehicle at this price point.

Tesla Model 3 with wheel damage and terrible alignment

Put money down on a car for them to hold and repair, instead they sold the car to someone else without my permission. Kekoa the salesman did not communicate with me that he was selling the car and instead texted me after he sold the car that he was refunding me my money. The manager called and said he was confused what happened and thought that I had cancelled the deal and I informed him that I had not and was actually in my car on the way to the dealership to finalize the sale. Their sales practice are pretty awful and as you talk to any of them you realize you cannot trust what they say, the kept giving different stories about the repairs that needed to be done. The 2025 Tesla Model 3 I put money down needed a repair for the car to even be useable since the alignment was so bad so they were going to repair it. Instead they sold the car to someone else without getting the required repairs done and making the car dangerous for anyone to drive especially if they use any of the electronic driving features, especially the FSD. I probably dodged a bullet and I feel sorry for whoever bought it since I know the car was not taken to Tesla for the proper repairs to be done. We already own a couple Teslas and it was obvious their staff and especially their service center do not know how to repair Teslas or they would never had a car in the condition it was in when I took it for a test drive.

We had a #Kia remanufactured transmission installed at #FindlayKia at 5325 W. Sahara Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89146. Less than 18 months and 29K miles later, the entire transmission needs to be replaced again ($3400-$3700), and Kia America denied all assistance. This is an OEM part they installed, that failed prematurely. We are extremely disappointed by the lack of accountability.

I don't see the point of make an appointment and be there for 3 hours for an oil change. Really not an expedited service.

Our go to mechanic for everything from usual oil change, to complicated old issues where most mechanic will guess their work. At Tyler Express, they know what they are doing. And if they have to figure it out, I fully trust them in not trying to rip me off; they will explain what they feel they can control. We've been going since 2024; they moved location to 3915 W Twain Ave. I kept forgetting to create this review. - In the past, an oil change, oil filter would be like 15-20min for $30ish cash/zelle. - This visit we brought our own oil, oil filter, filters (cabin/engine), fuel system cleaner; and pay for labor. All of this + whole car quick check is 45min-1hr from $70. We already have our own oil due to needed to refill the Prius every so often. Otherwise, I don't think its an issue to just use their supplies? Waiting room is clean with comfortable new couches, coffee Keurig cup machine, etc. It has ac. You'll have to walk through the left door office, and it's in the back area of it. With this new location, you're like 6min walk away from many great places -- - Plaza with Golden Tiki (bars and food), - 99 Ranch Market and plaza, - Rio Casino Hotel, and - Take It Easy Roasters to morning/afternoon wifi/study/work on laptop from 8am-4pm (9min/0.4 miles stroll away) - Pop Café to afternoon/evening wifi/study/work on laptop from 2pm-10pm M-Sat (13min/0.6 miles stroll away). Google Maps makes this place pretty difficult to find. DIRECTIONS: 1. Google to Green Valley Grocery, then 2. drive to the right of it where Modern Designs & More LLC/Floor Showroom is. 3. Tyler Auto is connected to, and located as the right side attached building opening. Payment, they need a full name attached for the bill. QR code scan and pay via zelle. ------------------ Old LOCATION Draft review I forgot to post: Kenny is SUPER DUPER knowledgeable about old Prius!! And cars in general!! My Prius tour 2008 has gone through so many random issues over the years. Reddit to youtube can offer a lot of different solutions too for these scenarios. You'll learn a lot of tips and more about your car.... Opening trunk hatchback from the inside of the car, make the dashboard screen appear when needed again, etc.. Towing: - We called Tyler Auto and they were willing to take us in. They took in our car from being towed for simple stupid mistake by us (no gas, we have a dashboard blank out issue/typical issue for old Prius in hot climate places). - Towed our car in. Apparently a lot of cars get towed here. Alot of the Vietnamese restaurant owners bring their car there which is a good sign to us. - Tow person's tip: Police tow will cost around $500 where cops also get a cut from it. Don't take a Police tow unless you have to. Cash or Zelle is best. They have QR code to pay.

So, I checked them out on Yelp, and sure enough, they had a 5 star rating! I immediately called and Bobby, who turned out to be the owner, answered the call. He said bring the car in and he would diagnose it free of charge. So, to make a long story even longer, Bobby and his crew of expert mechanics, jumped through rings of fire to get my A/C working again and even discovered that my fuse box had an internal short that was causing the compressor to kick in and out, and since that part wasn't available on time before we had to head back to Los Angeles, he showed me how to bang the box to get the compressor to start up again! All this effort was done at a very fair price. I would trust Bobby and his crew with any automobile issue. Absolutely first class!
