Parking is hard, you either get valet or walk from street parking. It's a very small plaza. The facility? Clean and intimate. I don't think they have steam room, or I didn't see it. For $30, it's not bad. I've been to the Queen Spa in Garden Grove, which is noticeably bigger, not sure if they're affiliated. If you want more space, Spa LA is about $50. If you want to save a few more bucks, Daengki is a similar vibe. I was the only white girl today, so it's definitely "authentic". The thing in common with all these women only spas is, they never sell food, so it's limiting how long I can stay. I saw this place driving down the street with a friend in September . It intrigued me so I googled it . I went in to access the sauna and steam room and cold plunge for 25$ I couldn't beat that since I'm obsessed with those amenities . I was going for about 6months and the lady at the front desk had been trying to convince me to get the body scrub and massage . Finally today I tried it !!! I absolutely loved it . Soni i believed was my therapist she was very sweet and knowledgeable everything was perfect the hair wash the body scrub the massage . This is honestly a place to go when you just want to relax and need to some tension released don't want to spend a bunch of money but it gets the job done . Even though the ambiance isn't ideal I still love that place it's clean and I will definitely be going back . The staff is nice and so is the other Korean Aunties in there . Please be open to nudity as the massages are side by side with other women . But the amount of tension released and the sauna amenities it's nothing like it out here all the other spas are overpriced !!! Korean spa girlies, listen up! First of all--WOW. I feel amazing after my visit to Queen Spa and Sauna! I got the Queen Special (120 mins for $180--such a steal) and let me tell you, it was worth every penny. ‍ I go to a lot of Korean spas all over the U.S. (check my profile, I have a whole list! ) and this one felt so authentic. Like, I don't know how to describe it, but it had a real homie, cozy vibe--like stepping into a true local Korean jjimjilbang rather than a big, commercialized spa. It's super small, just the essentials, but honestly, I kinda loved that. Steam room? SO hot. Sauna? HOT HOT HOT. Hot tub & cold plunge? Minimal but still solid. If you love heat, this is for you! I was sweating out all my bad decisions in that sauna. Locker room situation: Pretty simple but clean, and in the middle, there's a cute lil heated floor nap area (which I so wanted to try, but my two-hour service had me melting already). ‍ Service: I had Kim as my therapist, and let me tell you--STRONG lady!! If you like deep, intense massage, you will love her. Personally, I prefer a softer touch, but she was amazing at what she does. The scrub + massage was chef's kiss . Pricing: $180 for 120 minutes is such a good deal, especially for LA. I literally called everywhere and this was one of the best-priced K-spas in the area. Valet parking confusion lol: So, the "valet" situation kinda threw me off. Basically, you pay for valet but still park your own car?? I gave my keys to the guy, and he was like, "No, you already paid?" Um... okay lol. Parking in this area is a struggle though, so just be prepared! Language barrier: Most of the clientele spoke only Korean, and I don't, but it was totally fine! I actually loved that it felt like a real Korean spa, not a Westernized version. It was kinda cool to just immerse myself in it. Tip your therapists, please!! I messed up and tipped under 20%, and the front desk lady was not happy about it. I totally get it though--these ladies work hard and deserve good tips!! So be better than me and make sure you tip generously. Final thoughts: Most authentic K-spa I've been to in the U.S. Basic amenities but amazing services Super affordable for LA Very small & intimate Would I come back? Absolutely. Just know that this is not a huge, luxury spa with tons of amenities--it's small, simple, and all about the treatments. Come here for the scrub, the heat, and the vibes. ‍ 4.5/5 stars! What a sweet lil K Spa gem! This tiny but mighty spa is such a treat. The Korean Aunties do not play here. They are sooo strong and attentive when doing your treatment. I got the queen special, which includes a thorough scrub, wrap and massage for only 180 for two whole hours. I wouldn't say the massage is relaxing, but it definitely works through any built-up tension. The scrub and body wrap, however are next level! There's just one Jacuzzi and one cold plunge, two saunas and a steam room. But honestly, it's everything you need. One of the saunas is the perfect temperature for laying down and relaxing. I even did some light yoga in that room. And I love how it's not too crowded because it is on the smaller side and more simple. Honestly, it adds to its charm. Everybody was kind, especially the woman who checked me in. I told her it's my first time and she walked me into the space, showed me where my locker was And was very attentive. When you first walk into the spa, you are immediately in the lobby area. The whole spa interior design is free from vanity so if you're expecting lush couches, warm lighting and grand decor -- this is NOT the place. Once you're in the "spa" area, there are no luxurious amenities like cucumber water or eucalyptus towels or easy to access disposable slippers, etc. However, for me, this is not what I look for in a spa that offers body scrubs. AMBIANCE - This is a modest little spa in K-town. By no means is this place fancy or stylishly decorated. I thought I should mention this should you be wanting that type of ambiance. However, it does the job without this element. REGULAR BODY SCRUB AND MASSAGE ($100) - Her name was Soni (I may have misspelled her name), and she was clearly experienced and professional during the whole body scrub process. I appreciated that she asked for my consent throughout the 90 minute service, and would check-in with me if I was okay. If you've done a body scrub before, you know it's... rough. Be warned, the area where they send you to have the body scrub done is behind a 10 foot wide, frosty wall where you can still hear everyone showering, in the sauna, and in the hot tub. YOU ARE NOT IN A PRIVATE ROOM. In fact, you are adjacent, 2-4 other women who are also getting a body scrub. You must be okay with nudity. LOCATION: It's on Vermont in the San Marino Plaza in-between James M. Wood Blvd, and Olympic Blvd. SUMMARY: If you are looking to get a thorough body scrub, this is the place to go, but be sure to arrive EARLIER than your scheduled appointment so you have time to get into the hot tub to prepare your body for the body scrub. I wanted to try a smaller spa walking distance to my place. It provided a cozy, comfortable, sanitary place to enjoy my spa & alone time. It's not a big space & not updated interior. I bit old but all the things you need are there. It's clean, organized. The scrub massage was $110. I'd definitely go there again when I need sauna steam room time. The dry sauna is not big or hot enough but the wet area has enough for me to be there for few hours to take care of myself. The other ladies are very kind & smiles. Today was my first day here and I LOVED it! After seeing all the great reviews, decided to try it as a birthday gift. As some of the comments say, you do need to be comfortable with nudity and be confident about your body. Everyone's body shape and size is different and that's OK! Once my appt time came, I got Binky, I believe is her name, and she was AMAZING. They start off my scrubbing the whole body except for the vagina, then depending on what massage you want they begin massage. She started off very soft and took very care of my bidy, then I was shocked when she began to put more pressure on me. However, I found that it's exactly what my bidy needed bcuz of various stress knots and unstreched muscles. Would definitely recommend be back for another massage! read more

Amaaaaaazing service for the price!! Queen special 10/10 best facial I have ever had. The massage of the face was amazing. 7/10 massage. Kind of hard/fast for my massage preference 10/10 shampoo/hair massage 10/10 body scrub. Got a little close to the private areas a few times but not in an inappropriate way, just scrubbing quickly so something to be aware of if you get uncomfortable with that. 9/10 body wrap. Pretty standard but still nice!!! I was definitely the only one there that did not speak Korean but that doesn't bother me, personally. The one thing reviews miss: parking lot is HORRIBLE if valet is not there. Very small parking lot so if valet is not there then finding parking is a headache. This was my first time at a Korean spa, but after seeing so many YouTube videos and shorts about them, I knew I needed to visit one the next time I was in LA. I chose Queen Spa bc I wanted something a bit more traditional and small as opposed to Wi, which I hear is great. Queen Spa was perfect. The front desk woman was nice- previous reviews mentioned she may be terse but I come from a place of being kind earns you kindness and this was certainly the case. I got a vitamin scrub and massage and I can't express how wonderful it was. You enter the main part of the spa and get undressed. Lockers are provided and you have a bracelet with a key and number on it. Everyone is at some level of nudity in the outer section. Inside the room with the saunas and pools all of the patrons were nude. Though I've never been in a place like that, when in Rome. I took of my robe, grabbed a quick shower, and hopped into the hot tub to get my skin ready for the scrub. It was quiet at 9am, with just a few older women there. My number was called and I went back behind a curtained area for my service. You get really comfortable with the nudity really quickly, as the provider begins moving you around and scrubbing everywhere. Everywhere. Between my toes, my bikini line, underarms, between the cheeks. It was glorious though to get exfoliated and I was mildly disgusted at how much skin got sloughed off. It went on forever, and I rotated during the process so no inch of skin was left unscrubbed. After a quick rinse in the shower, I returned for my massage. Tons of oil brought moisture back to my skin and made it a fantastic experience. I did feel like I was going to slide right off the table sometimes but towels were down to keep me secure. Again, no spot was left out. She applied a vitamin c mask- one of those gooey ones that are cool and thick. I was in heaven. She massaged my front while the mask sat, then washed my hair with the best scalp scratches ever. After a quick condition, my mask was removed and she stretched my neck, arms, etc. It felt like it went on forever yet I could have laid on that table all day long. I was instructed to go into the wet sauna for a bit, then showered once more. I decided to do a cold plunge before going out to brush my hair and dry it (driers provided!). I tipped the woman who did my service and headed out, absolutely relaxed and my skin feeling like a baby. read more

This is definitely a great place to get your body scrubbed squeaky clean! I will be honest and have only heard of these places before and so this was my first time trying it on my own. I called and made my appointment an hour beforehand. When I got there I was greeted by the host and had to choose my package and paid prepaid. (Tip is paid later) She then proceeded to give me a basket with a robe, face wash cloth, towel and a key chain. She walked me to an open room with lockers and showed me which one mine was, then through a curtain showed me where I needed to shower and the hot tub.. that was all the info I was given. **Warning.. Must not be afraid to be nude or see nude women.. I read a previous review about just owning it! And I am (and was the biggest) girl there and did just that.. luckily after I showered the massage therapist/body scrubber came and got me and directed me to lay on a plastic table next to 4/5 other tables where other women were also getting scrubbed down.. I loved how the person who was working on me did not talk to me or to others while she worked. She just diligently did her job and then when it was time for for to turn, she was the sweetest and said it the nicest way possible. It's May 29, 2020 - I've been in Covid19 quarantine mode for over three months now. When asked the other night, what is *THE* service you will run screaming back towards - the minute the coast is clear. I'm 56 years old and I color my hair and have body-waxed & pedicured for most of my life. It isn't hair. It isn't body waxing, and it sure isn't nails .... sob, sniffle, cry - it's @QUEEN. I'm super stoked to have found this place! I love coming to a spa on on the weekend (usually Sunday) and just relaxing the whole day! Every other visit, I will usually get a body scrub / massage as well because there is just no other feeling like it. I usually go to Daengki Spa which is my GO-TO but Queen Spa is also close to me just on the other side of town! All in all, my experience was great here and I hope to come back soon!
