I really love this ice cream spot! It is nice to break out of your regular BR and Coldstone. They have a great variety of items from Mexican small appetizers, shaved ice drinks, ice cream of course, paninis/sandwiches, fresh juices, & milkshakes. The service here is always great. Okay so I love this place because they provide a variety of yummy delights! It ranges from ice cream all the way to cannolis. Now before my last visit this would have easily been 5 stars, however, I just went this past Saturday and was EXTREMELY disappointed. The guy that works there always has awesome customer service! The girls there however are not. My friend was waiting at the counter for her order to be taken while the older lady counted money or what not and pretended my friend was not even there...so they lost a customer. Another thing, I saw not 1 but 2 COCKROACHES which is very disturbing, they were climbing over the walls and left a bad taste in my mouth. I will return here, but I do think that the workers need to pay more attention to not only their customers but also cleanliness. read more

Though the place was filled with families (we went in on a Sunday), there was no line and we had our cream in our hands within a minute. I got a two scoop waffle cone with pistachio and mint chip, my girlfriend got a scoop of coconut. As much as I would love to give this place 5 stars, I can not. First off the ice cream, juices, drinks etc were sooo good. However the service goes hand in hand with the product, and the service was so horrible. I understand there is a language barrier however the the lady at the register was rude. She rolled her eyes for every question. The whole staff seemed like did not want to help us, however they were very pleasant to every Hispanic person in the establishment. If your Hispanic go for it the ice cream is awesome but if you are not be prepared to deal with attitudes and rude service. Ice Cream is almost a Gelato and the flavors are abundant and real, not from a can or bottle. The Herbert is a cross between sherbet and Gelato and again the flavors are great. They have some like Tamarind I don't think you will find elsewhere. The staff is clean, courteous as the sitting area is the same.
