They have reserved parking for clients which already made things feel easy and thoughtful. When you walk in, there is a beautiful display of their products and a really welcoming waiting area. It feels clean, modern, and calming without being intimidating. The staff greeted me as soon as I arrived and everyone was incredibly friendly and attentive. I felt comfortable immediately. I did a Forma facial and it was completely non invasive and not painful at all. We took before photos so I could really see the difference afterward, which I appreciated. They applied a gel to my face and used the Forma device to glide over the skin with gentle warmth. It felt relaxing and soothing, almost like a warm facial massage. Forma uses radiofrequency energy to stimulate collagen and elastin production. It helps tighten and firm the skin, improve texture, and smooth fine lines over time. What I loved most is that there is no downtime and it is safe for all skin types. My skin felt tighter, lifted, and had the most amazing glow afterward. I usually wear makeup every single day, but I left without any makeup on and felt so confident. My skin looked that good. We also did a subtle lip flip with Botox since I have been trying to stay away from filler, and a little Botox in my forehead. Everything was explained clearly and never felt rushed or pushy. I felt very at ease the entire time. The staff truly made the experience. Everyone was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. On June 1st 2023 I discussed my needs with Veronica at BL Med Spa in Camarillo, very thoroughly…read morebefore she had done any work on me. I also told her my new job starts the following Monday and my daughter's birthday was the upcoming Saturday. Normally this would not have been an issue as it would have been all healed up by then. I have been getting fillers and Botox for about 20 years now. I have always gone to Peter Karlsberg, MD in Ventura, but I wanted to stay local in Camarillo and get some fillers. I told the technician who was putting the numbing cream on me that this will only last 10 to 15 minutes on me. Same with Novacaine ect. I asked him to please do not wait too long as the numbing effect will dissipate. I'll make this short despite the fact that it is not. These are the treatments I received from Veronica: 2 syringes of Voluma RHA 2/ RHA 3 It was not as some of these reviews state. Yes they were friendly, as they should be. As well, some post that they are reasonably priced, their products are higher than the average M.D doing fillers in the Ventura County area. I had specifically expressed to Veronica that my 1st priority was my Nasolabial folds (lines between your nose and cheeks) needed filler. Veronica said that it was due to bone loss and she couldn't use filler above the nostril line.... ???? This was 'a first' in 15 plus years. My 2nd priority was my lips, I like them fairly full and puffy/pouty, which we also discussed. By the time we got to the injections the numbing cream had worn off, and it has in the past but they just reapply numbing cream and wait 5 minutes, yet this was not the case in this facility. The injections in my cheek bones were extremely painful as I could feel everything. When Veronica started on my lips I came out of my seat. I told her I could feel that and I am not numb any longer. Veronica's response was that there is lidocaine to help with the numbing, yet that was after it pierced your skin that was not numb. Veronica used 2 syringes of Voluma in my cheek bones, which after the product settles it leaves a dip between your lower eyelid and cheekbone if too much filler is injected. So, that is now what I have. My lips, I will need to go back to my Dr, Dr Peter Karlsberg in Ventura to have my lips redone and fill the pockets under each of my eyes. The total cost of this experience was $2435.00 with $1500.00 paid in cash (no cash discount-very unusual) I have included photos from the day after up to this morning of very visible bruising. Along with a billing statement. Expensive lesson that's all I can say. S.W.
