After four previous visits, we decided to give La Nova one more try. When I picked up our cheesesteaks this time, I was actually excited. They were heavy and finally generously filled with meat again. Unfortunately, once we bit into them, we were utterly disappointed. While the portion size had improved, the quality and texture of the meat had definitely changed. It honestly tasted like chopped-up ground beef rather than cheesesteak meat, and the meat was literally crumbling apart as we ate it. I've attached a photo because the difference was noticeable. We also added the sweet chili wings for the first time. I didn't open them until the following day, but several were dark/oil-burnt on the ends, and the sweet chili sauce seemed more drizzled over the wings than evenly coated, leaving a few pieces with little to no sauce. I really wanted La Nova to work out because our first experiences were so good, which is why we kept giving them another chance. But after five separate visits, consistency has unfortunately continued to be an issue. Sorry guys, but this was our last try. I hope others have a better experience. read more

Oh my! This may have been the BEST CHEESESTEAK sandwich ever!!! I came because of a recommendation I saw online and I am VERY happy I did! I ordered ahead, online, and that service was super easy. They give you good portions. Very filling. We ordered cheesesteak with fried onions, green peppers and xtra cheese. My only complaint is that they don't cut the green peppers in smaller pieces. When ordering on DoorDash they also don't take special requests. We like are fries with salt and ketchup you can't request that on DoorDash. read more

Let me start by saying that the cheesesteak was great but the service was not. We ordered cheesesteaks, Stromboli and pizza. After about an hour wait, the manager came to tell me that the pizza that we ordered was burnt in the oven. We received the refund one month later. We went back to get to try the pizza and it was great. We took the cheesesteak and the spicy pizza and both were great. The cheesesteak was huge can feed two people. The pizza was very delicious. One thing I noticed is that the cheesesteak price went up since last month, could be due to an increase in the cost of meat and/or operation costs. I'll post a photo of the menu soon. The place does not have any chairs or tables, just a counter to order and pickup. Hopefully, they open in a bigger location soon. Amazing! I told my husband I wanted to try this spot which we pass all the time. It's an unassuming store front. I called our orders in and was told about 30-35 minutes and I could hear it was busy. I arrived early and was just sitting in the car, the lady called me to tell me my food was ready. There was a small line when I walked in, some people ordering some people waiting, I'm glad I ordered ahead. I got my two steaks and went home. This cheesesteak is hefty, the meat was falling out. The cheese was mixed in and that roll was perfect. I turned to my husband after eating and say that was a great cheesesteak maybe one of the best I've had and he agreed and said "give them a good review" so here we are. Came back to one of my favorite places to pick up food tonight to take a break from cooking spent 82.00 I regret it the order was horrible tonight. Ordered cheesesteak pizza it was ok but the cheese on top was burnt but edible. The plain pizza wasn't edible the whole thing was burnt as you can see in the pictures attached. The chicken fingers were dried out and not edible my son bit into them the taste like there was something wrong with them taste like biting into powder. We ordered cheese fries also asked to cook them well done with salt no salt was on them and the fries weren't cooked longer. Had it last weekend Some how three steaks were done 10 minutes before a small pizza. So by the time we ate the steaks in the truck across the street they were soggy as hell. Could also have been the constant hosing down with water the cook was squirting on them to add moisture. Definitely over rated for philly's steak game but good pizza taste and crust. read more

They got some good music crankin inside , it's a tiny place , mainly for take out , it's not a place you can sit inside. Very fast paced, friendly staff. The cheesesteaks rock! If i could give this zero stars i would. honestly one of the worst cheesesteaks i've ever had. the bread was too thin and it had wayy too much meat for my liking. The steak was also very light on my toppings (Salt pepper ketchup mayo onions). The steak also tasted off, it smelled too much like cow and tasted like it too. I really enjoyed this place the first time I ordered. Cheese steak was excellent. Lately I've been let down with their pizza. The dough is always good. Last order was a white pizza with spinach ricotta and chicken. The cheese was extremely thin and not spread toward the outside of the pie far enough. Oddly enough, I felt like there was an adequate amount of chicken. Nowhere near enough spinach or ricotta. At $2 per topping, this pie should be covered in spinach and ricotta. The entire pie was dry and a little bland. A white pizza, in my experience elsewhere, typically has some amount of garlic on it and enough cheese to keep it from getting dry since there's no red sauce. Very cheesy with the cooper sharp. We also got mozzarella fries with extra cheese but the only problem was it was all on top of the fries so any fries underneath were not cheesy. Delivery was fast and the delivery person was very nice. We would order from here again although it was a little pricey but I still think it's worth it for the amount of food you and quality of the food. Traveled from New Jersey to check out a chicken cheese steak I recently saw on a food channel show. Call and place the order, this is a take only place and my cheese steak was ready when I arrived 20 minutes later right on time. The sandwich was bigger than I thought it would be, packed with chuck size chicken on a seeded roll. Roll was just a little tough for a cheese steak, not stale just a little tough again.
