Stopped here for lunch because I love their soup. Stop here yesterday also bought 2 soups for 10.50 came today bought 1 soup and was told credit card purchase needs to be 10.00 I bought a 16oz Snapple ice tea I said is that enough she said yes 10.45 WTF really so I could of gotten 2 soups for 10.50 . Are snapples really 5.00 something is wrong with this picture I think she just made up a price on this . Not happy about getting over charged I will rethink about revisiting here again in the future .

Walked past here many times w/o going in. Doesn't look like much on the out side, but got good reviews so I figured I'd try it. The pizza here is great! Generous amount of tasty cheese blend. Sauce is great, with nice ratio to cheese. Crust is on the thin side, but holds up well. Can be little oily, but you can dab it off. Guaranteed to satisfy that pizza craving. Did I mention it's only $1.50 per slice? Glad I finally tried this place. Sandwiches look good, maybe in the future

Soooo. Where do I begin. First the Manager/ Owner Maria is straight up rude and disrespectful to customers. When I called in to order an item from the menu she told me that I could not order it because the menu was printed wrong and she was aware of it. I simply asked her to meet the expectation based on the menu in my hand and she told me to order somewhere else. She then said that she is not just the manager but also the owner because her husband owns it. I simply disconnected the call. As a consumer spending my money there is just too much competition to spend money with someone who admits to false advertisement then holds the customer accountable for understanding its a typo on their menu. DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS RESTAURANT the owner is egregious and disrespectful. Not today. In 2019 customer service is paramount and honoring what is printed on your menu is a No Brainer! The issue is I attempted to order the eggplant platter that states it comes with fresh fries AND with spaghetti or ravioli. When I called in she stated it only comes with one or the other. Read it for yourself and tell me.

It's a cold snowy day here in Philly aaaaaand of course, I trekked it all the way to my favorite pizza spot in the northeast. *cue krusty krab pizza song* Today was a really good mario's pizza day. My pizza was perfect in the way the crust was thin but not too crispy, the tomato sauce was flavorful and sweet, and the cheese was so deliciously ooey. I added all the essential flavors and spices to make my slice just right when it came out. As usual, their pizza was fresh out of the oven and ready to be chowed down, NY style ;)

Large cheese pizza. 7/10 a little rubbery but still good. Good price.

I usually don't expect places on streets like Cottman to have amazing food, but that should not be an excuse. I rarely give good reviews, however after hunting pizza places around this area for a while, I'm happy I found Mario Brothers. I ordered a pick up, food was ready when I got there, it was a little cold, so they must of made it REALLY fast, however that didn't bother me. Most of the food reviews I explained in my uploaded pictures. I would give them 4/5 (which is awesome) and will definitely come back (Maybe until they screw up, hope not). Conclusion, it's nothing surprising or amazing, it's JUTS A GOOD PIZZA JOINT! That's it!

Cheesesteak with fried onion. This was on point.

Haven't had enough to give them 5 stars yet, but when i try new things I'll be back with an update..I can say "without hesitation" that they have hands down the most DELICIOUS pizza. Perfect crust to sauce to cheese ratio IMO. We also had the fries, the are your standard fries, but at least they didn't suck. They served their purpose. Can't wait to try the wings and hoagies. Being a person that used to be a deli worker and "build sandwiches" I'm hoping their hoagies and sandwiches match the quality of the pizza. The location doesn't look like much from the outside. But don't let that fool or deter you. The inside is the most clean of any pizza shop that I have been in. Everything also looks very organized. The staff were friendly and efficient. Only downfall, parking is limited and takes metered parking. Update: since previous post, I have ordered again and this time had delivery. Delivery was very quick, cheese steak was on point. Mild wings are definitely mild (which I was grateful for) and they were very sauced. The mega fries were AMAZING!!!

Our server apologized for a delay in taking our drink orders. She was attentive the rest of our meal. I ordered a Charles deGaulle whiskey cocktail. Lemon, aperol and simple syrup added a refreshing twist. For entrees, my wife ordered the pacherri; a simple pork ragu with tender broccoli rabe, Parmesan, stracciatello and basil. The dish was delicious. I enjoyed my plate of sea-inspired tonnarelli nero. Bay scallops in crab ragu with fennel sofrito. Served with squid ink pasta that imparted a slight brininess. The pasta was cooked pangrattato style-- coated in panko bread crumbs and garlic. The dish had many flavors but they all came back to the theme. Cocktail prices and entree prices were very reasonable. They offer happy hour drinks and specials. Certainly a very good choice if you're in the area.

The short rib over polenta was probably my favorite thing on the table - it fell apart easily and the polenta underneath wasn't as heavy as I expected it to be. We got the salted caramel budino for dessert too, and I was glad it wasn't one of those desserts that's so sweet you can only handle two bites. Would go back honestly. Probably order something different next time just to try more of the menu, but I'm getting that ricotta again no matter what.

I personally would order this as my meal if I could. room temp, oily, good crunch to soft ratio. Judion Beans: good beans. they are on a similar wavelength as butter beans. honestly I get them for the table for the extra bowl of oil at the bottom to dip the crusts in. Creamy Oregano Salad: very interesting. small shaves of mushroom and fennel. very slight bitter taste. oddly addictive. the olives were my favorite part. i'd consider these friendly olives to those suspicious of olives. and the olives are cut in halves, so easy to pick out. so are the mushrooms. easy split for a table of four. beyond that i'd get two. *ADD ON* pickled chilies: very good. I suggest adding this to the pie. they are green, spicy, delicious, absolutely lovely. Corn Pizza: all together very delicious. my favorite part are the cherry tomatoes on top, which I would really like to be an add on option to other pies. they are the perfect flavor and size. i'm not particularly a tomato fan, especially whole. these are a rare exception. Classic Pizza?: solid, no notes. good as always. My only wish is that they offered a sauce to dip my crust in. they have very good crust, perfect ration of crispy and fluffy. just needs a sauce. Overall, great service, the manager greeted us to check on our meal, our server was attentive, the vibe is great inside.

Makes it a great spot for a pizza date night. The pizzas absolutely are the star and they care about the quality that they put out. I've never had a pizza that wasn't within their consistent standard. The corn pizza, when in season, is a stunner and a reason to go on its own. The small plates are all delicious and if you like wine, the list they have is really strong always. All of the above said, every single time I go I see the bill and I say to myself, "oh that was a little more than I thought it was going to be." Has it stopped me from going back? No! And I don't think it should be a deterrent, but good to keep in mind. Like I said, the food is so great and the staff is as well. As a whole package, though? 4-stars!

I was immediately seated upon arriving to Pizzeria Vetri. I was asked if I wanted to sit at the bar, at a table, or at the pizza counter. I chose the pizza counter so that I could watch staff making pizzas. As I was there on my own, the serving staff continued to stop by and check on me. The menu includes neopolitan pizzas (12" feeding 1-2 people) and metro pizzas (28" feeding 3-4 people). They make pizzas, calzones, antipasti, and salads.
