The owner Benny was also kind enough to give us some free desserts to take home, which were pretty good. With that said, what intrigued me the most was the interesting story about how Benny fell into this restaurant situation after swearing he would never be in this industry again. He is a strong believer in supporting the community, and has a nonprofit called Hungry Monk Rescue Truck that deals with food insecurity in NYC. We need more people like him in this world. But when there are big soccer events, it can get very packed. I especially like their frozen passion fruit margarita because it is sweet and strong with a tajin rim. All of their food is delicious, especially their picada which comes with a variety of meat; chicken, chicharrón, sausage and potato. The chicharrón is always crunchy and all the dipping sauces pair so well with everything in the picada. The vibe inside the restaurant is always very fun with good music playing in the background and the bar always has very friendly staff.
