Not bad, I might come back. Server was decent and a patient, good guy. I thought the Papa A La Huancaina was really, really good. The chicken was a little bit overcooked (hard on some spots) and not incredibly tasty the way I know Peruvian Chicken to be from other restaurants, but it was decent. Ordered a whole chicken, rice, an order of beans, maduros and yuca or cassava. The service arrived fast, the green Peruvian sauce was great and that was just about what I liked about my order. The beans were brown covered in some white sauce, the yuca was like deep fried french fries. i don't know how it is in the restaurant but based on this experience I'll stay away. read more

This is not your typical Peruvian joint with the roast chicken and of course ceviche. This is in my neighborhood and what I love to do in this neighborhood is eat!!! And there are lots of choices indeed. The dishes here, what makes them so good? The freshness. Made to order and spiced up right. I highly suggest eating in. Mainly because of the spicy green sauce condiment. This green pesto looking contraption is the cream on the crop. This sauce is a bit spicy and smoky flavored. It goes literally on every dish. Its unheard of yes? A sauce playing well on all dishes? Yes!!! My favorite thing to get here is the Peruvian fried rice with beef, the papa rellena, and the chicha's. The Peruvian fried rice with beef has that right amount of olive oil which is simmered on the wok. The beef is cooked to perfection and melts in your mouth. Papa rellena is a great contraption. This dish is a baked potato dough into which a filling made of chopped beef and onions, whole olives, hard boiled eggs, cumin and other spices is stuffed. The best thing though, its fried after! I can eat this for breakfast, lunch or dinner. A great appetizer. The Chicha Morada is great in the summer. A great iced cup of purple corn. The first time I tried this, I thought it was a fruit punch made from cherries. Once corrected, it made sense. The only downside to this place is the loud music. If you don't mind the speakers set to 12 then dine in. If you do mind thought, take out. I highly recommend this place because of its authenticity and simplicity. The ceviche mixto is amazing. It's very flavorful, you can really taste the lime juice. The tails are removed from the shrimp which makes it easier to eat. The portion is perfect, enough for two if you are not super hungry or greedy as I usually am. If you are not a fan of spicy ask to have with spice on the side or light spice. All the seafood and fish taste super fresh. The sweet potatoes is slightly soft and is complimented perfectly with the tartness of the sauce. The place its small, the waitresses are not really attentive nor pleasant. The food is not that good and for the price, we were expecting good service along with good food. The menu says TIP AND TAX NOT INCLUDED, but then they hit you with a bill with TIP included and a fee because you're paying with a card. Therefore, I won't recommend it nor we'll go back. read more

I have eaten here before and have no complains about the food. The food is pretty good. I ordered a whole chicken combo today. I was charged close to $20 for a whole chicken and fries and a 2 liter soda. They never mentioned that I was suppose to get a salad as well, so I was not given everything the combo comes with AND on top of that they are stingy with their hot sauce. They gave me two small (tiny) hot sauce cups for a whole chicken with fries. They normally give you one hot sauce cup when you order a quarter chicken, but I got two for a WHOLE chicken.... We have been going here since it first opened and are obsessed with the chicken! It's tender and juicy and the in-house green hot sauce they offer with it is a great kick of flavor. The prices are reasonable and you get a lot for your order, which is always a plus. My one nitpick is the quality of the sweet plantains going downhill, as every time we order them now they are undercooked which wasn't always the case. Their sandwiches are very filling though, and the bread is always perfectly crisp. I recommend the salchipapas for any who like snack like foods, it's so easy to just munch away at a basket until there is nothing left! It's just too good! read more

I definitely will not recommend this place as a good authentic Peruvian restaurant. The rotisserie chicken has no flavor, the green hot sauce taste like they used Italian dressing with some pepper and guacati, not good at all. The ceviche was so so, the steak was hard. Felt like they fried it straight from the freezer and to top this, we ordered food for the birthday girl and they forgot all about it. This is so NOT an authentic restaurant at all. The food was good as always, but this place has the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I ordered a meal and informed the person taking my order that I cannot eat rice due to a food intolerance. I asked to substitute the French fries for the rice and also for maduros and a side salad and was told it was fine. The guy proceeded to write down my order with 3 initials next to it for my three sides. I get home and there are no fries with my meal. I called the restaurant and was told the man did not understand what I was asking for. After arguing for some time, they eventually agreed to deliver the fries they left out, but requested that I return the "wrong" side of maduros that was put in with my order or pay an additional $3. I even told them to check the order slip and explain to me why there were 3 initials written next to my meal if that's not what I ordered. Tgey delivered the fries and I returned the maduros. I came in here for the first time and tried a shredded chicken special in a greenish/yellow sauce and a rotisserie chicken. I have to say my dish was pretty good. Unfortunately when i was leaving I asked my server a simple question about my bill. I hate when servers get defensive and even after explained it - it still did not make sense but i paid my bill anyway just to get out of there and not deal with attitute.
