I had the iced mocha, while my husband ordered a cold brew with oat milk. The cold brew's flavor was a bit off, but the staff was happy to remake his drink. He opted for an Americano instead, and it was much better. It was one of those crazy hot weeks in Vegas where the average high was 107. We were staying in Park MGM, and were very happy to see this inside Eataly on our way to our rooms. It was a group of us and we got the Bomboloni, which is a donut stuffed with gelato. I decided on the hazelnut which was delicious! The donut was fresh and it made a lovely gelato sandwich, that was provided in a cup. The gelato had great flavor and texture. We ate inside so that it wouldn't melt in a microsecond, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our treat. There were 2 people behind the counter, so we were served very quickly. I guess I cannot ask for reasonableness in this Sin City; all the non-mini dessert are almost $10 a piece. If you are on a budget you can always go for a mini ($3) or two. I picked Terracotta and this was $4 more than my 12oz Cold Brew. Ouch!! Service was (once my turn came after standing in somewhat a long line for about 5 minutes) fairly fast. The young man who assisted me for the Terracotta and the lady who assisted me for the Cold Brew and the check out were both pleasant and friendly. Good service! This place also has some light lunch menu items. Whatever others were ordering, they looked very savory and tasty. Despite the fact that it's on the busy and crazy Strip, this place somehow cancels out the craziness of the casino city atmosphere (at least that's what I thought.) We loved La Pasticceria so much that we visited the shop 3 times during our Las Vegas trip. This shop is located in the very cute eataly in the MGM park Casino. Flavor was delicious on everything that we got. I would recommend the lemon merengue and tiramisu. Be warned the rum soaked cake is actually soaked in rum instead of the usual rum cakes I've had this is strong! I enjoy coming here for the coffee and a place to sit and relax, or shop for chocolates, taste wine or buy olive oil. When we were waiting in line/admiring the beautiful array of desserts, two Italian gentleman in front of us specifically requested the medium sized tiramisu, which could not be found in the case. After celebrating a long and exciting weekend of my son getting married, I tried La Pasticceria on my last day in Vegas and it was amazing!! Heather (the one who works the night shift) made me the best espresso I've ever had in my life! I asked her about her prep foaming my oat milk and she was so patient and awesome explaining to me the process of how and why and shared with me that she watches many videos on YouTube on coffee because she just loves it!
