Strawberry Honey Balsamic & Black Pepper
    BreAnne M.

Black pepper + ice cream...? Not the flavors I anticipated when I walked into Salt & Straw but WOW. I didn't want to be greedy and sample every single flavor (although the very kind lady behind the counter said it was perfectly fine) so I narrowed it down to just a few. Our first trip, I tried the Malted Salted Chocolate Chip cookie dough on a waffle cone. It was rich - very rich. More salted than I expected but not nearly overpowering and it paired perfectly with the chocolate. The second night I got the Strawberry Honey Balsamic & Black Pepper on a waffle cone and it was the perfect treat for walking down the hot strip. The flavors meshed very well and it had a slight kick in the end. The shop was nice and clean and the staff kept the line moving well. This will be one of my first stops when I make it back to Vegas.

This location is right under the Eiffel Tower! It's really easy to miss especially when navigating through the strip but now we found it!! And, it's the perfect stop to get an ice cream and watch the water dance in the Bellagio across the street at night time! Always love the new flavors that they have! This time, we got the cereal flavor series and everything was yummy! We sampled everything and all of the flavors are spot on.

The ice cream is so good! Such unique flavors. We did the flight because we couldn't pick just one flavor to try! They do give you little samples like most ice cream places do which is nice! The service was awesome and quick! The only downside was no seating at all so we had to go sit on the bus stop benches outside. I guess If you get a cone or just one scoop you can walk and eat it but we wanted to sit and enjoy our flight.

1 day trip to Vegas and had to make a stop when I saw my fave dessert stop. Great chocolate oriented flavors this month...go now.

So. Many. Flavors! Staff were super friendly and let us try multiple different kinds while still being very cautious of my intense allergies. I ended up getting Pots of Gold and Rainbows and the Almond Brittle. So so good!

The customer service was outstanding--warm, welcoming, and genuinely generous. They encouraged me to try as many flavors as I wanted and treated me with a kind of family-style hospitality that's rare these days. And the location? You truly can't beat it. Sitting at the Paris Hotel, right under The Eiffel Tower and the Bellagio fountains right in front, it felt surreal. It's the kind of place that instantly becomes part of the evening rather than just a stop along the way. This might officially be my new favorite after-dinner treat.

Two scoop cup, almond brittle and birthday cake/blackberries

Salt & Straw at Paris is such a great combination! First, the ice cream is so good. I tried a bunch of different flavors and got the almond brittle flavor and birthday cakes & blackberries. The staff was super helpful and patient, especially with my niece (toddler), who was in heaven. Loved the location, an easy stop while checking out the strip with visiting family.

We made a visit on the 1st day and arrived right when they opened at 11:30 AM. Parking is available but it is in a lot with other businesses. However, it was busy at the time. I was lucky to grab one of the last few spots. It was even busier by noon. There are seating both inside and a little patio on the side of the store. We sat inside because it was hot that day and they were blasting the A/C. Restroom is available but will need a key. We took a look at the menu beforehand so I ordered right away. It only took a few minutes for it to be ready. There is a little water station available near their counter. Despite having a lot of sweet options, we came here for the savory options. The spicy tuna salad avocado and avocado egg salad croffles were our orders. The tuna one was honestly not that spicy but definitely hits the savory craving. The egg one leans on the sweeter side. Both of these were really good and were a good balance of flavor profiles together. Highly recommend both! Sweet Mong is easily a store I'd come back to try other dishes.

The matcha had a rich, earthy flavor without being overly bitter, and you could tell it was made with quality ingredients. I ordered a float and loved that they let you choose the ice cream flavor. The ube ice cream was a standout--it wasn't overly sweet and had a nice starchy, creamy texture that paired well with the matcha. Another plus was the pricing. Compared to many specialty matcha shops, the drinks felt reasonably priced for the quality and portion size. Overall, a great spot for matcha lovers and anyone looking for a refreshing treat while in Vegas. I'd definitely come back and try more of the menu.

Before that time and throughout our visit here, the line got longer and longer, and eventually all the seating inside was filled up. It was already a bright day yet the inside is lit about as bright to match the daylight hues. That and also the heat outside made me and my friends come here to grab another matcha as we already had a nearby place just 10 minutes ago! For this part of our matcha run, I got their large matcha latte float with a matcha and strawberry ice cream mix, while my foodie friend got the same float as well only with ube soft serve and a medium-size instead. Matcha is strong and ceremonial with grassy tones that were slightly dulled by the sweetness of the drink; the matcha ice cream had that same ceremonial hit as the latte but the strawberry ice cream didn't pair with those earthy tones very well since it was a different kind of sweet. I also found my friend's ube ice cream the better addition to the matcha latte than my matcha-strawberry mix. I still enjoyed what I had, and the float by itself still hit well. They have a ton of other drinks and even a banana matcha latte I would give a try in another visit to this location in the future!

I got the sizzling brownie It comes out on a hot iron plate, and right before it hits your table, they pour warm chocolate sauce over it so it sizzles and bubbles. Under all that is a warm fudgy brownie, usually topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The hot-and-cold combo is the whole point: the brownie is soft and rich, while the ice cream slowly melts into it, mixing with the chocolate sauce. I also tried the honey toast. The honey toast is a fun dessert that's as good as it looks. Thick, buttery toasted bread is crispy on the outside and soft in the middle, drizzled with sweet honey and topped with a scoop of ice cream. As the ice cream melts into the warm toast, every bite has a perfect mix of crunchy, fluffy, and creamy textures. It's sweet without being overwhelming and great for sharing. It didn't taste artificial at all like at St**b**ks. I'm pretty sure they make the apple syrup in house. Perfectly spiced and comforting. I would come back just for this drink but unfortunately I think it's a seasonal item. Strawberry Mille-Feuille: They make this fresh, so I had to wait about 5-10 minutes, but it was absolutely worth it. The pastry was beautifully crispy and the cream had the perfect texture with visible vanilla bean specks. I even found myself licking the paper it came on and didn't care who saw me because it was that good. Mushroom Crêpe: Yes, it's worth the hype. The photos online make it look very cheesy, but it's actually quite light. My husband doesn't like cheese and couldn't even taste it. I ordered it without mayo to keep it a little lighter. The tiny mushrooms were adorable, and it comes served in a cute crêpe holder. Coconut Cake: The cake was incredibly soft and fluffy with custard cream layered in between. They didn't have individual slices, so I ordered the mini cake for $17. Yes, I ate the entire thing. Yes, it was delicious. Yes, I think I've had enough coconut cake now in one sitting to last a lifetime. Yuzu Panna Cotta: Very unique. I haven't seen this dessert anywhere else. The yuzu adds a bright tangy flavor that almost makes the panna cotta taste like a creamy citrus yogurt. I'm really glad I tried it. Matcha Latte: Strong, high-quality matcha. Sometimes matcha drinks at cafés taste watered down, but not here. It's topped with matcha foam and little matcha brownie bits, which makes it extra special. Strawberry Dessert: My kids loved this. Every bite was a surprise. My 9-year-old found beans in one bite and then a big strawberry hidden in the middle. It was fun watching them discover it.
