We went to see a show and decided to have a bit of dessert before going home. There are many places to grab some ice cream in Paris but I know Salt & Straw recently opened and I wanted to try it. I've actually wanted to try Salt & Straw for years but whenever I was near one, it just never worked out. I'm glad they are in Las Vegas now. Not gonna lie, even though I'm not usually directionally challenged and I used to work in this building, finding the place was a bit hard. We walked around the whole casino, not seeing it or any signs for it. I opened my Yelp app and looked at the pictures and realized it was outside. So in case you get lost as well, this shop is located outside of the main casino, in one of the Eiffel Tower legs on Las Vegas Blvd. Walking in, we were greeted immediately. There were a few people waiting to help us and some other people who walked in. The shop isn't that big but it's enough to maneuver comfortably. The person helping us was super nice and patient. We tried a few flavors before settling on one and were shocked they use real spoons. Yes, the tasting spoons are little metal demitasse spoons. I wanted to pocket one but I controlled myself. Everything we tried was great but I had to get the salted, malted chocolate chip cookie dough in a limited time brownie waffle cone. It was decadent and absolutely delicious. Super crave-worthy. Obviously, this place is a bit expensive, especially since it's on the Strip. We paid over $20 for two cones, but it was really good and I didn't feel disappointed in spending the money on it.

From the outside this place looks like it's been closed but just had to make sure and wouldn't you know it, it was open. This place has an incredible selection of flavors. Not typical flavors but a lil something for everyone. My first experience was at the original in Portland OR. Now they have definitely spread out. If you have the opportunity to stop in and try a couple samples of something new and different, it will be an experience you will remember and want another.

Black pepper + ice cream...? Not the flavors I anticipated when I walked into Salt & Straw but WOW. I didn't want to be greedy and sample every single flavor (although the very kind lady behind the counter said it was perfectly fine) so I narrowed it down to just a few. Our first trip, I tried the Malted Salted Chocolate Chip cookie dough on a waffle cone. It was rich - very rich. More salted than I expected but not nearly overpowering and it paired perfectly with the chocolate. The second night I got the Strawberry Honey Balsamic & Black Pepper on a waffle cone and it was the perfect treat for walking down the hot strip. The flavors meshed very well and it had a slight kick in the end. The shop was nice and clean and the staff kept the line moving well. This will be one of my first stops when I make it back to Vegas.

This location is right under the Eiffel Tower! It's really easy to miss especially when navigating through the strip but now we found it!! And, it's the perfect stop to get an ice cream and watch the water dance in the Bellagio across the street at night time! Always love the new flavors that they have! This time, we got the cereal flavor series and everything was yummy! We sampled everything and all of the flavors are spot on.

The ice cream is so good! Such unique flavors. We did the flight because we couldn't pick just one flavor to try! They do give you little samples like most ice cream places do which is nice! The service was awesome and quick! The only downside was no seating at all so we had to go sit on the bus stop benches outside. I guess If you get a cone or just one scoop you can walk and eat it but we wanted to sit and enjoy our flight.

1 day trip to Vegas and had to make a stop when I saw my fave dessert stop. Great chocolate oriented flavors this month...go now.

So. Many. Flavors! Staff were super friendly and let us try multiple different kinds while still being very cautious of my intense allergies. I ended up getting Pots of Gold and Rainbows and the Almond Brittle. So so good!

The customer service was outstanding--warm, welcoming, and genuinely generous. They encouraged me to try as many flavors as I wanted and treated me with a kind of family-style hospitality that's rare these days. And the location? You truly can't beat it. Sitting at the Paris Hotel, right under The Eiffel Tower and the Bellagio fountains right in front, it felt surreal. It's the kind of place that instantly becomes part of the evening rather than just a stop along the way. This might officially be my new favorite after-dinner treat.

Salt & Straw at Paris is such a great combination! First, the ice cream is so good. I tried a bunch of different flavors and got the almond brittle flavor and birthday cakes & blackberries. The staff was super helpful and patient, especially with my niece (toddler), who was in heaven. Loved the location, an easy stop while checking out the strip with visiting family.

Then, the second visit, we ordered the sugar-free chocolate and banana toffee. That was also a very good combination. Their flavors are delicious. And in case you were wondering, one cup of gelato is more than enough to share amongst 2 people.

There was only one person taking everyone's orders and making the drinks and retrieving the desserts, but the line, which wasn't too long, was moving fairly quickly. When I realized that they had coffee, I went for one immediately. Although I was inside The Cosmo and just got out of a business lunch, I did decide to skip their cookies and ice cream and just have their coffee, because I don't eat sweets on a very regular basis anymore. The spiked milkshakes I had my eyes on, but unfortunately for me, I drove here. What caught my eye on the menu was their birthday cake latte, and so I went for that in a medium cup. Hey, it's someone's birthday somewhere, right? Just a heads up, even though it tastes exactly like a birthday cake, it doesn't come with sprinkles on the top or any of that other fun stuff. The person (super nice, btw) did inform me when I got my drink is that it would explode a little bit when I would put my straw inside of the cup. There are no seating areas with tables here, so I had to go elsewhere to set my drink down so I wouldn't spill my drink everywhere while I was standing. While the drink was amazing and not too sweet, it was also a tad expensive for a medium cup ($10 plus tip). Then again, it is The Strip, so expect things to be overtly expensive.
