I hope the older reviews won't deter people from coming here, because it's changed ownership within the last couple of years. I normally come here for a gel manicure, pedicure, facial wax, and my husband gets a pedicure. I've dragged him around to several different salons, and he even says this his favorite to go to. They have a great price and give a discount if you pay in cash. I recommend making appointments. We usually just walk in because our schedules are busy, so we do have to wait. It's normal to have to wait for walk-ins, some people don't realize that and like to complain. Someone will talk to you eventually. I've waited 45 minutes before. I just tell them what I want, put my name down, and grab something to eat. This place has a lot of foot traffic, especially once it gets warm! Just be considerate and realize you're going to have to wait because they're busy. They have lots of staff and are doing the best they can with getting everyone serviced on busy days. They have lots of colors to choose from. You can look on the wall or this little basket with color samples. I think they should have a couple of those baskets, because women are always waiting around to get to look at the colors. Overall, I've always been happy with my service. As long as you're patient and nice to them, they'll give you great service. The owner has even done my nails when they were close to closing. I saw a lot of the negative reviews were from a few years back so I gave this place a shot. Glad I did. Needed brow wax, a fill and a fix yesterday and called while I was at the other end of the parking lot. They had time I walked in started me right away. I think my techs name was Tammy, she was very sweet and did a great job. Place was clean. Loads of color options. I'd go back. read more

This nail salon needs to get some sort of system in place for their walk in clientele and their appointments. When you walk in you have to sign in (for what , i dont know because the lady just yells who is next?) So after getting called to a table TWICE I had to go sit back down in the front because there were two appointments they obviously forgot about... After waiting nearly 40 minutes I get the "who is next" once again so the girl tells me she doesn't know how to put on a full set of acrylic nails and only does gel manicures. I did not want to wait any longer so on the spot decided "sure why not" The nail technician seemed very new and inexperienced (although I am not sure if she was), I showed her the design i wanted and she said she could do it..when it comes time for the design she said my nails were too short and she would "do something nice" I spend 30$ for a gel manicure meanwhile I've been to places and paid 35 for a full set so it is safe to say I am VERY UPSET! Been going to this place for years before and after the change in ownership. Had good experiences with both owners. Just consider the time and season before going as a walk-in customer. Since they're in a shopping plaza they get plenty of foot traffic. Sunny weather on Saturday afternoon? Couple days before New Year's Eve? You will not be the only one who wants to get their nails done - make an appointment. As mentioned in previous comments, they work by volume so they try to fill those seats as fast as possible so waiting is to be expected. They could use a better system for walk-ins. Their prices are on par with other salons and you will receive a discount for paying in cash. Been to other salons with larger color selection but not a deal breaker for me. They're good to regular customers and get the job done. Recommend Phoebe for nail sets and fill ins, Lisa for fill ins and Amy for pedicures and manicures. read more

Went here for a gel manicure & pedicure and the woman doing it cut the bottom of my foot. She was very apologetic it just a little nick on the heel. (So I thought). I let her do my Gel Manicure and that came out good. Well when I got home my heel was killing me, blood everywhere. It hurt for about a week probably because of where the cut was. Now today- I go in for just a manicure at 10:40, I wanted the same person before. I wait . Wait and wait some more. I've been going to LA PERFECTION for years now. I have to say I will not be going back. I recently have noticed recent over charging including 10 extra for shaping after the fact and poor shaping at that. I wanted oval I was given round. They lack color choices. They charge 10 extra for matte........they also have taken down the signs advertising they give a discount for paying cash so unless you know that already you will not get a discount. I walk in a woman sighs and says how can I help you. (Mind you it's not packed) I asked for pink and white nails (it's advertised on the front of the establishment)she replies so french? I say yes. She then asks me if I want a french gel manicure. I then say yes again. While she's cleaning off the polish I ask if she can put a tip on some of my nails to even them out to which she replies some of them are short too. I then say fine put on a full set. She then tells me to have seat as she doesn't know how to do tips.... what??? Doesn't offer me an indication of how long... so I am currently sitting her waiting....fifteen minutes goes by ask excuse approximately how long she replies ten minutes. Tried this place twice because my normal salon is closed on Mondays. Prices are normal but the quality isn't the best. I think I give better pedicures. LOL. The guy did my toes and I swear I think I was only in that seat for 10 minutes. It's like he was trying to get me in and out. Nothing relaxing about that! My other salon gives me a foot and leg massage, uses hot towels and use a good polish that lasts a month. This guy - his Nail polish lasted a week.... Then his massage chair was broken.. Wtf? Don't even think of going here. I stopped in the salon on Monday to make an appointment for Tuesday. After setting the appointment I went in on Tuesday only to sign in and after waiting 40 minutes the girl tells me they don't do appointments on Tuesday. Who was that person at the desk then who made my appointment the day before? All of a sudden she doesn't understand what I am saying! This nail salon has been around for a while, and I must give them credit for that. However, the location is in a prime spot for customers, which I would say definitely assists because this salon is not special and quite frankly went downhill in recent years and doesn't rank even as average in my books. I've long since stopped going here for pedicures. I prefer a pedicure that takes the time to include as many scrubs/lotions/massage time as possible, and I've found better salons for this. I also don't care for their limited selection of polishes - not many OPI or Essie brand ones. There are OPI bottles under the front counter that at one time were for purchase, but the main selection available to choose from are brands I haven't heard of. Occasionally I stop in for an eyebrow wax when I'm desperate to get them done and in a hurry. While there is rarely a long wait, the pace is tipped too far in the other direction. You feel very rushed because the waxer has left their patron to attend to your eyebrows. It all feels very much like they take you in real fast to make a quick buck. I even experienced a waxing where the waxer appeared to have been finishing her lunch. The work itself reflects the pace. Don't expect any lotion to calm down the red skin around your eyes. You're in and out real quick. Not a place I'd go to for much more than an eyebrow wax, if that. read more

I told her several times I did not want to sit by the door the air was coming on me each time the door open in December mind you. She just ignored me, also if she wants to be the receptionist do so. Don't attempt to do my nails, answer the phone, make nail appointments, and be the cashier at the same time. Also most nail salons have a ATM machine in them. You can withdraw money and make the payment and give tips. This place does not what an inconvenience. At least I wanted to give the lady that did my pedicure a tip. read more

The manicurist was on the phone speaking loudly the entire duration of my pedicure. I could not even listen to the news. This is after I waited a bit for her to finish her break. I also had to tell the other women who started my chair that the water was so cold. Not an enjoyable session at all. The actual pedicure is low average. I would never go back. I've been coming here for about a year and have not had a bad experience until: Thursday: got a gel manicure. She did not paint the entire nail so I asked her to do one more coat and get the back. She did one more coat, but did not cover the back. Friday: 1 nail chips. Saturday: 3 more nails chip. Tuesday: arrive at 1:30 and show the owner my nails & ask her to repaint them. At this point, 4 nails are chipped and they look 2 weeks old since she didn't paint the entire nail. Argues with me & says she doesn't have time to fix them today. I make an appointment for 1 the next day. Wednesday: arrive at 12:55 & explain to the women in the front my situation (the owner is not there). 1:05- a lady says she will fix the 4 chipped nails but wont do anything about them looking grown out. We argue & she storms off. Meanwhile, I'm sitting at her table extremely confused as to what just happened. 1:10 in walks another customer who had the SAME EXACT ISSUE - but since she peeled off all of her gels, they won't give her an ounce of attention and she leaves. 1:20 - I finally get the SAME PERSON who did my nails the first time to fix the 4 chipped nails and paint over the ones that are grown out.. I have a huge problem when going to a nail salon and I tell them what I want and they have opinions about what I SHOULD get and forget I'm the one paying for it. VIVIAN the best nail technician I've ever been to, have been going to for years now. You tell her what you want, she does it no questions asked. She's such a lovely person. I had a great experience both times I visited this nail salon. They give you service with a smile and make sure you have a great experience while you are there. The first time I went, I walked in for a fill in and pedicure without an appointment and was greeted with a smile. I waited two minutes before being ushered to the pedicure chair. The young lady who did my pedicure did a fabulous job. After my pedicure, Trish performed my acrylic fill-in and did an outstanding job. When she was done, my nails were flawless. Trish was extremely friendly and professional. She worked quickly, but with precision to make sure that my wrap was smooth and that my nails looked extremely natural. My next visit (this time I made an appointment with Trish) was just as good as the prior visit and again Trish proved her expertise because my nails looked great. I was her last client of the day and the salon was ready for closing before my nails were dry, yet they did not rush me, they were extremely patient and bid me farewell after I was done. I love this place and will be back every two weeks for my fill in with Trish. read more

I came here for a manicure, pedicure and eyebrow wax and I will not ever be going back. The staff is not skilled, I asked for a simple design and they managed to screw it up. They do your eyebrows at the nail drying station for the whole salon to see. Also when I asked for my design I was transferred around the entire salon because no one understood what a half moon manicure was even though i was showing them a picture of it! By far the worst customer service I have ever experienced at a nail salon. I walked in for a gel manicure, I asked where the colors were as I waited and the woman completely ignored me and walked away. I watched them do the same to another woman who walked in after me as well. After my manicure was finished I stood at the register to pay as every staff member ignored me. I stood for a few minutes till I had to walk back and ask to pay (how ridiculous). After I said something I got starred at like I was speaking another language till someone got up to check me out. This place should have been shut down by the department of health many years ago. Cheap means health risk. It was an awesome, clean, and excellent business during their first year. However, now you'll find that the bathroom is disgusting (which is a huge red flag to any business for hygiene), the pedicure tubs have layers of filth in them, the tools used for mani and pedi's are rusted (o.k bring your own but what does that tell you about the way they maintain their tools?). The floor is littered with nail clippings and foot shavings. look up and you'll see mold on their ceiling. Once you've developed an infection, it could turn into something life threatening. Absolute waste of $20... I love pedicures and I usually do a spa pedicure. Because they were about forty minutes from closing I decided just to do a regular pedicure. I asked if there was enough time to do a pedicure and the girl said yes (I totally understand if you don't want to do someone at that point but just say so!). Well there was plenty of time apparently because the ENTIRE pedicure start to finish took UNDER 15 MINUTES. It basically worked out to 1.50 a minute for the girl the rub lotion on my legs and paint my toes. Save your money and go to one of the many other nail places that will actually bother doing the job properly. read more

The man split my teo nails and they're still bleeding. They don't wash there pedicure stations. He kept redoing my toes because they were so bad. I will never be back again. The owner was the biggest bitch you'll ever meet and won't give you your money back or even care/acknowledge the problem. They're money hungry. The pedicure is $30 and then if you want them to "scrub" your feet it's an extra $5. So you're paying $30 to have your feet sit in cold dirty water and have them dried and a horrible paint job. Horrible!! Worst pedicure I have ever had in my life!! They seem to be very "money-hungry" or cheap as I call it. I went in because it was conveniently located in the area I was working. During the pedicure, they didn't massage my feet or shins and the water in the foot bath was cold and only filled half-way. Worst of all, I got an ingrown toenail and an infection from the pedicure. The staff doesn't seem very skilled and cut my big toe with a cuticle cutter (not a toenail clipper). The place didn't seem too bad on the cleanliness when I first walked in but the fact that I got an infection on my big toe proves that they aren't clean at all. this nail salon is pretty beat but is right next to my gym so ive been a few times. My nail polish always last pretty long and the staff is nice. Prices are really cheap too. Just $7 for eyebrows.
