The printer didn't work so no photos that night and now, 2+ weeks later, no digital photos either. What's the use of paying for a photo booth if you can't have photos? I've been lucky enough to have loads of experience with LAPhotobooth, and every single one of them has driven home what a party-maker it is. Literally, no joke, I have seen a boring party where everyone is standing around self-consciously, turn into a fun time where everyone is giggling (okay, so maybe wine coolers help too). I'm talking 70 year old Swedish people in eveningwear loosening up and putting on a Cleopatra hat. Every time I check in on pictures of the photobooth, they're all full of smiling, laughing faces. There are parents with their kids and brides kissing their new husbands, and sometimes pictures of people who aren't around anymore, having a blast with their friends. I had a pool party awhile ago and set up the photobooth outside at it -- it was the hit of the night. There are so many hilarious pictures, and nothing brings out someone's latent acting talent like the photobooth. Basically, if you are thinking about getting this for your party, I'd say yes yes yes. It beats the weird little confined booth ones with only 4 photos at a time...hands down. This one you can take as many pictures as you want with as many people as you want and they're all professionally lit and look fantastic. Oh my gosh, everybody at the wedding LOVED the photobooth! They had such a blast taking hundreds of pictures! People had so much fun using different props provided by LA Photobooth! I went ahead and got customized borders for the printed photos, and people wouldn't stop talking about how amazing the quality was. The 4x6 pictures were clear and colorful. I loved being able to get high-res digital copies of all the pictures after the wedding. I didn't get to spend a lot of time in the photobooth so it was very amusing to see all the pictures! Not only was the photobooth amazing, Justin and his team were wonderful. They communicated with me as much as possible and worked very well with my wedding vendor. Where to start?! LAPhotobooth was a TOTAL HIT at our wedding! We have SO many amazing photos of our family and friends using every single prop they brought. (And more! Haha.) We had a Groupon for a 3 hour rental with unlimited digital prints. Justin was great with all things customer service related. He eased my bridal mind regarding the optimal location of the booth itself. He battled with my phones crazy reception. And when he couldn't get me on the phone, he would follow up with an email. (He even corresponded with me while he was in Europe!) The image quality was amazing. They took the time to adjust/edit/retouch each individual photo. We were even able to view our entire photo library while we were on our honeymoon! (Less than 72 hours after our wedding night!) Michael and Kate where our two photobooth attendants. They were professional, punctual, and very fun to have at our event. Overall, we highly recommend LAPhotobooth and their services. When they said "photo booth" at our company holiday party, i expected the typical mall curtain photostrip booth. But this wasn't anything like that. This was a professional setup, complete with forward facing monitor (so you could see the outcome of your picture) outward facing monitor (so all my friends could see the fun), dual flash and lovely costumes. The guy who was there to man the photobooth helped us organize ourselves for larger group pictures (very thankful) and encouraged us to move to the right spot to be evenly spaced for the picture. The pictures are self taken (step on a button), not with a timer, so you have plenty of time to get ready. And if you don't like what you see on the monitor, take another one! The photos were crystal clear with amazing lighting. I'm just really shocked at the quality of the pictures. I will definitely consider them for personal events. read more

Coming from a customer service oriented industry this is crucial and they definitely impressed. Even with follow up after our event. Not impressed. LA Photobooth had great reviews which was why I used them for my wedding this past January. The attendant arrived at my venue and the booth didn't work. 2 hours of my reception passed by, and they sent a back up computer system, but obviously were out of contract. We hired fro 2 hours, and people had left by the time the booth was up and running. When it did work it was awesome, but aren't all booths? I was told by the attendant not to worry, but to file a complaint and that they would take care of the issue and refund us part of our expense. Still waiting... When I filed a complaint about the issue a week or so later, I was instead asked what I wanted and given an explanation that due to rain and our venue not having a loading dock, that their booth was damaged at our property. My response was that any professional company would plan for both of those issues and that that should not have been my responsibility. I'm still waiting for a call from their "director of rentals" to resolve the issue and have sent more then 8 emails in correspondence with Zach about the problem over the past two months. At this point I've been given the cold shoulder. This is what I would say.. buy at your own risk. If all goes well and you have a perfect situation for your rental, most likely you won't have any trouble. BUT.. if even the slightest of things don't go as planned, expect issues, then expect poor customer service in response. read more

LA Photobooth is amazing! They were unlike anything I had expected. Like some other reviewers, when I heard photobooth I thought of the standard box where you try to crowd in with as many of your friends as you can. But LA Photobooth's set up was more like a professional photo shoot. Everyone at SCU's Rainbow Prom LOVED getting their pictures taken. There were so many costumes and props, and Justin was an absolutely entertaining host. The photos were professional and everyone looked like a model. I had seen the LA Photo booth at a previous party, so i gave them a call. They were very professional, and organized. They got everything set up so that all my guests and i had to do was push a button *CLICK!* and the photos were there in front of us! . They provided costumes for the guests to play with - which really got everyone into the spirit - it was amazing! The photos are posted on their website a few days later - where guests can go and view them and pay a small fee to down load! Justin rocks!! We hired LA Photobooth for our reception and they exceeded expectations! They are extremely easy to work with and very flexible. We changed the hours we wanted them there the day before the event and they did not make a fuss and happily worked with us. As for the setup, it was amazing. It was WAY WAY WAY better than a cramped photobooth. Instead, the setup allows for huge groups to take their own pictures. They provide wigs, costumes, etc so needless to say we got some great pictures. They also provide 2 huge apple monitor displays so everyone can see the pictures. Even though they could have made more $$ by including printing, they actually told us not to - they really look out for the customers. Needless to say, the booth was a huge success. People were lining up for the photobooth and taking 15+ shots each. We ended up with some real memorable photos of our guests acting a fool. We had the Photobooth at our annual Google Christmas Party. They were there with two booths (each with different background). Lots of items to wear on the pictures from pirat hats to a banana costume ... We took TONS of pictures and had them all available just 1-2 days after ... they guys must have spent day and night reviewing and uploading them. Experience at the party was also great: you could take the pictures by stepping on a trigger and the quality of the pics is just amazing (probably the best quality I have ever seen). Can't wait to order all my copies now that they are online. I recently hired LA PHOTOBOOTH for our corporate party. And from the initial phonecall to the final wave of goodbye, they were professional, accommodating, and a huge hit to our party. The shoot is entirely professional...with lighting rigs, camera, big imac screens and backdrops...and you end up looking better than you do in real life!! This ain't your grandma's booth...this is high end. And you don't walk away with the itty bitty photos of old days, these are 4x6 beauties. Hands down, one of the best parts of our wedding. We were debating whether we needed this extra expense at our wedding since we've seen photobooths at weddings before and they were always kind of cheesy and look like passport photos with fuzzy print outs that end up getting tossed. LA photobooth is totally different. The quality is insanely good and its not just funny plastic glasses and boas, they came with a full body, winnie-the-pooh costume. Full. Body. The lighting, equipment and Justin himself are all super professional. Everyone just looks really really GOOD in these photos (some of my guests even ended up taking family portraits in there). We didn't even go with the printing option (at their suggestion), we just ended up sending out all the hi-res originals for our guests to download. People were sharing for weeks after and some of the best memories of our wedding came out of it. If you're waffling between these guys and another lower priced but kinda crappier option, trust me, go with LA photobooth. They're worth every penny. read more
