I had a very disappointing experience ordering from Nothing Bundt Cakes. When I picked up my cake, the top was not secured properly, so it slid and the frosting became smeared. It was clearly not packaged carefully. I immediately tried calling the store to let them know and to see if I could bring it back to have it fixed, but no one is answering the phone. I have been trying to reach them for the last 20 minutes with no response. This is extremely frustrating and unacceptable. When I said no, he explained that I should leave the cakes out for at least two hours before serving. When it was my turn at the register, I told the woman behind the counter that I had placed an online order but I'd also like to get a bundlet. She rang me up for the bundlet then went back to get the rest of my order. Everything was great until... By the time she came back, I had found a congrats greeting card I wanted to get for my colleague and asked her to ring me up again. She quietly uttered, "JESUS CHRIST" under her breath as she tried hard not to roll her eyes. She was upset that I wanted her to ring me up for one more thing. I get that she's busy, but I should have her undivided attention like any other customer. My husband ordered two bundtlets for a special occasion days in advance with a specific pick-up time. He actually popped out under the guise of going to the hardware store for a quick errand and had timed everything accordingly. He was very disappointed for two reasons: 1) At the shop, there were 3 employees, but no one helped him when he came in, even though he was simply picking up a pre-order. My first disappointment was when NBC stopped, carrying the marble Bundt cake option -- which was my husband's favorite. The store person cited that it was too expensive to make. We still continued coming back because the other flavor options were okay. However recently, I was surprised to see how small the bundtlets have gotten! The cakes used to fill the entire plastic container, with the frosting sometimes even sticking to the lid. Now, the cakes barely go past where the container lid begins. This is our go-to for party cakes. We get 12 Bundtini's in Chocolate, Lemon, and Red Velvet and they are always a hit. Cakes are delicious and moist. I prefer desserts that are not overly sweet and one of my kids usually doesn't like cake frosting but we both love the lemon bundtini, frosting and all. There is parking spaces in front of the shop so it's not too difficult to find a spot s the cakes are amazing!
