ate there last night Food was very good as usual however, serving size was much smaller than usual! . I've been there probably 50 times over the years. Food is always very good. we love the salads and the garlic rolls... I ordered chicken française lol last night order was quite a bit smaller than it usually is I don't know why and also I didn't recognize any of the staff typically it's the same people every time I even asked if it's under new ownership had me concerned that the serving size was smaller..... ( I usually have a little bit left to take home, but yesterday I had it all and was still a little bit hungry ) I come here because the foods very good, but also the servings are usually very generous. very curious why none of the old staff as there on a Friday night if there's a change in ownership hopefully the owner will see this and let me know. I will keep coming, but I would like to see the servings larger again.!

This place is the perfect go-to place for pizza with a New York feel. The food is great and the service is efficient. They prepare the pizza as you order, none of that pre-made garbage from the chains. The inside of the establishment gives you a homely vibe.

Pizza had nice crispy exterior, vibrant sauce, cheesy, fresh veg! The cheese could've been more browned on top, but still good, overall!

It feels like we've visited a majority of the decent pizza places around the area. Looking for something different; we decided to visit a spot called La Pizzeria in Margate Going in, the place had a large amount of seating, clean inside, and got slightly more packed as we ate our meal. For dinner, we kept things super simple and ordered a large pizza pie with mushrooms & peppers. Moving on with my review; both the food and service was great! The pizza had a nice crispy exterior, vibrant sauce, cheesy, and fresh veg! I do find that the cheese could've been more browned on top, but still good nevertheless. Moreover, service was fast and super friendly. Overall, we were very satisfied with our experience tonight and have considered coming back here again. Final verdict 4/5 stars!

I'm a New Yorker from the 60's where the pizza was the greatest anywhere ! Well SURPRISE! New York pizza hasn't been great in many years but if you want the BEST on the planet, La Pizzeria has it! The Margarita is unreal - fabulously crispy pizza with large squares of Mozzarella cheese sprinkled with fresh basil. Everything here is great, the service, food and fair prices! Love it!

This was my go-to Italian restaurant when we lived in Coconut Creek/Margate/Coral Springs area. The food is excellent. I didn't realize they have a great lunch menu, with smaller sizes and very reasonable prices. Our server was knowledgeable and did great with recommendations!

The food is great and now Virginia is back making this my favorite restaurant. Thank you Virginia!

The worst pizza I've ever had and it's floating in Greece or oil. I don't know. I'm scared to try the meatball sub.

La Pizzaria is a family owned Italian restaurant the family owns two other Italian restaurants in the area. This restaurant is consistent, and has wonderful value. The choice of soup or salad salad is fresh with each entrée. The garlic knots or pizza dough nuts without garlic are soft and delicious and plentiful. This is my third time coming to this restaurant. The first time I was here for a birthday party in the back room. There were 15 guests with plenty room to walk around the table. The second time I was here, I had delicious shrimp oregenata. And the only comment was that it could've had more breadcrumbs the shrimp which had six on my order. We're just an average size. I did not take pictures that evening Last night, I went back and I ordered a veal dish with a lemon sauce and spinach, which was delicious and had a side of spaghetti with one meatball and extra three dollars to take home for another meal. My friend had a veal dish with eggplant and she said it was the best of both worlds, the eggplant was very soft and delicious. We enjoyed our meal and the service was wonderful.

I could not believe how busy La Pizzeria was on a rainy Tuesday evening. Unfortunately it appeared they were a little short staffed as we waited a long time after getting water and asked twice for a waiter before someone took our order. The waitress was apologetic. We ordered the calamari for an appetizer, it was fried golden and was very good. Our meals included Chicken Marsala, Flounder Francaise, and various pizza slices. My Chicken Marsala was delicious with a lot of mushrooms. It was more than enough for 2 meals. Everyone enjoyed their meals. After the initial delay service was attentive and pleasant. There is a non-taxed fee, added to your check if you use a credit card, I did not see such notification prior to receiving my bill. The balance they use to determine the tip amount they print at the bottom of the receipt includes tax as well as this additional fee. The interior is welcoming and looks like a typical New York Italian restaurant I can't believe it took me so long to visit LaPizzeria, overall it was a very enjoyable dinner

Anyway, in any case, we enjoyed it thoroughly, and that's why I'm doubling down that we haven't been there before - we would have been back! It was our anniversary and a Saturday, and fortunately we went early enough to avoid the rush. The hostess was lovely and, when I mentioned we usually like to sit at the bar, she said not to worry about our reservation and sit wherever we like. We ended up at a table because the bar was pretty crowded and we wanted a more quiet evening. So, Ben was our server and he was fantastic! He gave me a solid recommendation when I asked for his opinion, he was attentive without being a pest, and he had a great personality. I don't rave about a server, but he was a gem! We had a Caesar salad, spaghetti and meatballs and calamari. My husband said the spaghetti and meatballs were very good and the calamari was one of the best I've had anywhere - totally crunchy yet tender. (Thank you, Ben, for the recommendation!) The meal is served with a crusty bread and oil with balsamic, and I love a crusty bread. We were treated to an anniversary dessert of a brownie with ice cream, and who doesn't like that?! Anyway, it truly was a nice evening. I can understand why the reviews are so positive, and it's always a pleasant surprise when expectations are not only met but exceeded!

I remember looking up local places that had freshly made Italian way way back and this was one of the spots. What a joy to have homemade authentic Italian pasta nearby! Tonight we came in during the Labor Day holiday weekend on Sunday night with our toddler. Judging by the reviews I was on the fence about this being a date night or trying to bring the kiddo but I was feeling adventurous. We lucked out- no reservation; walked in with a toddler and it they sat us in one of the back rooms with a big party table- perfect. Bring on the large group who will be living it up family style and louder than us. A beautiful interior, with winding rooms to section off different areas. The front area more well lit, a mid section with the bar and the back room for a large party. Every space separated with rows of wine which they are very well versed in. That must be why they aren't just called 'Pasta...' The actually ended up being super toddler friendly but I wouldn't recommend to any ol' kids. It's intimate and very date night style restaurant- but they were more than accommodating. Our daughter got a high chair, a gold chalice for water and even a plate of homemade pasta with butter. The staff was very friendly to her and everyone said 'ciao bella' which she loved. On to the adults, my husband and I got cocktails- both of them were outstanding- my husband got an old fashioned and I got a gin drink with rosemary infused gin with a bubble on top. It was beautiful. They were so delicious. My dish was the Pappardelle al Sugo di Cinghiale. Pasta with wild boar sauce, outstanding- perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. Meat just fell apart. The kiddo also loved it.

Despite sitting outside, they put a cooling fan pointed toward us which felt nice. Our sever did a great job and he was friendly. The food came out quickly. We ordered Caprese di burrata - Burrata mozzarella, sliced tomatoes, fresh basil. This was good. Burrata was fresh. $19 Ravioli di porcini alla crema tartufata -Porcini mushrooms, creamy Truffle Sauce. Tasted nice but such a small portion. $35 Veal cotoletta milanesa - Veal Shank classic ''milanese'' style, Saffron Risotto. Apparently. Taste nice and fresh, but again a small portion. $56 Honestly, I'd rate this place a 3.5 because of the high prices and small portions. The chef is good, food is fresh, that's the only reason I'm being generous and rounding up to 4. I probably wouldn't come back. I've given them two shots and felt the same way both times. If you're close by and want a nice atmosphere and aren't very hungry, I'd swing by.

I'm writing this on my way back home and honestly, just recalling the meal keeps giving me the warm and fuzzies. I originally went to Bella Roma because they had Khachapuri on the menu which is pretty rare. The only other place I've had it that is actually good is KavKaz, this one was better! First of all because of their ingredients and their crust. It's perfectly crisp but also airy, combined with the cheese and the egg, wow. It's honestly addicting and I wish I would have gotten another one. BUT THEN THIS HAPPENED! My husband loved the crust on this that he said, the pizza had to be good. Oh and he was right. That crust, ZERO FLOP which is rare when you pair it with stracciatella! It held up. We ate an entire pie of the spicy pep and honestly... I was tempted to order another khachapuri. This only happens when you go to places that use good ingredients. Kind of like what happens when you eat pasta and pizza in Italy. It's HIGH QUALITY. My husband said it reminded him of L'industrie Pizzeria. Which is a HUGE honor. Especially from him. He's usually super critical. My only wish would have been some hot honey with my pizza but tbh, that would have been gluttony. The place was TOOO good. We also tried their sandwiches because their bread is baked in house EVERY DAY. How they managed to make chicken parm sandwich feel light is pure magic. Wow. I heard this place has been open for a while but they have new management and WOW. Idk how it used to be but THIS IS AMAZING. The chef knows what he's doing. I'll be making the drive from Miami to this place AGAIN AND AGAIN.

There was a group of people dining inside when I entered. I asked a male employee for a take out menu to place my order. The shrimp parmigiana with pasta sounded real good. The dinner entree was served with my choice of soup or salad and garlic rolls. The soup wasn't listed on the menu so I asked what kind of soup do they have. "Pasta fazool", he said quickly. Pasta what? "Pasta fazool", he repeated. He had that real New York/Italian accent. Seems like that was the only soup they had...hope I like it. It was a bit of a wait, but I didn't mind sitting in such a relaxed atmosphere. As I reached home, I went into the kitchen to taste test the food. Here are my thoughts: Garlic rolls - a little oily; but was warm, soft, and lightly covered in minced garlic and herbs...yummy Realizing "pasta fazool" was Pasta Fagioli - very hearty soup full of pasta, beans, and tomato Shrimp Parmigiana with pasta - a dish I thoroughly enjoyed. Pasta was al dente and covered in a delicious zesty tomato sauce. Shrimp was breaded, cooked nicely, and topped with same zesty tomato sauce and covered with cheese. The whole meal tasted like it was cooked to order, which now I didn't mind waiting for 30 minutes...was well worth it.

She made sure our glasses stayed full and actually asked everyone (we were 26 people) if everything was good/did we want anything. She had it together and made our experience golden. Before we went, I looked at the pics on Yelp and thought that the nosebleed prices for simple ingredients and the casual decor didn't seem to go together. And the menu is limited. I thought we were about to waste a lotta money on basic dishes - because we don't eat meat or chicken, our choices were even more limited. But we were part of a large group and we were looking forward to seeing our friends there. So we went and had a GREAT TIME! Look, I was wrong to suspect that this was a casual place with casual food. Its the best of both worlds because it is on the casual side but the food is formal as hell. The pinot noir that my husband ordered and the Don Julio 1942 tequila that I ordered over an ice ball were just right. The bread and pasta are made inhouse. I think the desserts are too. The sauces are the secret to the sparkle of each dish. Our friends ordered the zucchini flowers and went nuts dragging the bread in the gorgonzola sauce. I had the Pasta Siciliano, a fat, heavy, fresh ruffled pasta holding a sauce made of caramelized onions cut so thin they were like feathers, roasted and sauteed eggplant, black olives that were still hard, reduced tomato sauce and a dollop of ricotta. Clearly the person who put the cheese on top of the pasta knows I love fresh ricotta. My husband's grilled salmon, done exactly medium as requested, was a bullseye. I'd order that in a second. He said the spinach and roasted potatoes on the plate were 'delicious'. We split a tiramisu, which was a lightly flavored, fresh dessert. After dinner, we were serenaded and encouraged to join, which our table of 26 gladly did. It was a little post-dinner relaxation with dinner-mates. OR a bit loud and disorderly, as if the whole restaurant was a little drunk. I think it was that the food was great (seriously, we already plan to return), the service was freaken stellar and it was worth every penny, as shocking as it sounds. I am a believer now. It was that good.
