I've been here several times over the years, but this was my dad's first visit, and it did not disappoint. We started with the bison tartare, scallops with sweet potato purée, and the meat and cheese board. Every appetizer was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. The scallops were perfectly cooked, and the charcuterie selection was excellent. For entrées, we shared the wild boar ragù, pumpkin ravioli with sausage, and the ossobuco. Each dish showcased the restaurant's attention to detail and commitment to quality ingredients. The wild boar ragù was rich and comforting, the pumpkin ravioli struck a great balance of sweet and savory, and the osso buco was tender and flavorful. Location is out-of-the-way but worth the drive. Pasta is made fresh daily, and the restaurant has a definite northern Italian cuisine and ambience. Service is impeccable and well worth the trip. An amazing restaurant. We sat as soon as you walk in next to a bunch of wine crates that made our table semi secluded. The food is fresh and absolutely amazing. They have unique meat sauces including venison, rabbit, even elk. I really appreciate the variety. The ravioli was the best we've had and that is why we will be going back. The waiter was very nice. I do wish when we had sat down they explained some of the wine lists because it is daunting. There are some on the main menu but then also an additional full menu of bottles. We have heard so much about this particular restaurant. We finally made a reservation to give it a try. From the moment you arrive the restaurant is beautifully decorated with wine wooden boxes. We first went to the bar area and each of us enjoyed a pre-dinner libation. We were seated in the rear of the restaurants what is referred to as the private room. Still an amazing place to get an upscale Italian meal. Wife and I had old fashions to start and were one of the best We've had. We shared a gnocchi Romano lardo and a caprese di burrata which started the food portion out in a grand way. We then had the Ragu bolognese and the Sugo di Coniglii/ rabbit stew. I actually love the vibe here it was very nice and the staff were super informative and helpful with navigating the menu. And the food was super fresh and delicious the rigatoni was delicious and I was super excited to hear that they make all their pasta fresh! We had heard good things about pasta And... for years. Well, tonight was our first experience at this little gem. I was surprised that the restaurant was so small. Our waiter told us there was another room, accessed from another storefront entry in the nondescript strip of stores. Upon entering the small room we were greeted by our waiter, who escorted us to an elegantly set table, with a simple centerpiece on our table for four, of one beautiful fuscia rose. The place settings were simple, modern and elegant as well. Every glass was a different shape. I love their attention to details. All of this made out Thursday dinner with long term friends seem extra special. Then the food was served. Everything we tried was wonderful! Our friends had the Caprese di Burrata and Pasta e Fagioli Genovese for their appetizers. She choose the appetizer, Salsiccia con Peperoni, (Homemade Sausage served in a red and yellow pepper sauce) as her main. My husband and I shared the Caprese di Burrata. He also had the Bucatini con Polpo, Pomodorini e Timo, (Butter & thyme sauce, with cherry tomatoes and Octopus) loved every bite. I tasted the octopus . It was very tender, cooked to perfection. Pasta And quite literally blew me away. The quality of service and flavor of the food went above and beyond my expectations. They specialize in Northern Italian cuisine, which I found nice and light, a pleasant change of pace from most Italian restaurants around. Portion sizes are very reasonable as are prices, and everything was delicious. We started with the burrata and smoked salmon appetizer, which was so fresh. I also really enjoyed the olive loaf bread they brought to the table. For the entrees, I knew I had to try the speciality game meats as well as their fresh, house-made pasta, so we got both the boar and rabbit ravioli. They were delicious! The sauce on both was simple and light, allowing the flavors of the meat to really shine. The rabbit ravioli was a little sweet which paired well with the fresh rosemary, and the boar was savory with great thyme flavor. I tried a sip of the cosmo ordered to my table, and found it very well-balanced. I also loved the cappuccino they made, and thought their tiramisu was the perfect way to end things. What really blew me away though was the service. They were SO attentive. I didn't even get the chance to pour water into my own glass or pick up accidental crumbs from our table - their staff were right there every single time we needed something, before we even had to ask. We have been to Pasta And.... a few times. They have since expanded and have more seating which is great.the food continues to be top notch but the service could have been better. It took a while for the server to take our order, the food took extra long to get to us. They make everything fresh there but it took super long even for fresh. Like our reservation was at 5:30pm and we didn't leave until 9pm long. The check also took forever and we were with an older couple who just couldn't sit any longer and ended up going outside to wait while we paid the bill. We had the branzino, lobster ravioli with calamari and crab topper, lamb shank and pasta shells bolognese. Everything was fresh and delicious. I asked for a little Parmesan on the side and they looked at me sideways bc cheese doesn't go with seafood. I get it but it wasn't appreciated. Additionally, the waiters kept only speaking with the men at the table and asking them what we wanted etc. The ladies were paying so this was also not appreciated. I'm as traditional as the next person but I don't appreciate the premise that a man has to speak for me or answer questions for me when I'm sitting right there. We put it to the test bc I called our server 2x for water and was ignored but eh minor my husband spoke, they came instantly. What I did love is that the chef came by and asked about our meal and was extremely friendly to the entire table. A wonderful hidden gem located in a tiny plaza in Margate. You truly are transported to Italy as soon as you walk in. Surrounded by hundreds of wine glasses, white linen and super comfy chairs. Mouthwatering bison tartare; elk linguine; wild boar and polenta; rabbit; pork shoulder (which was sublime). An incredible wine collection of wines that you will never find anywhere. It took about 15 minutes for our waiter to come over and take our drink orders. Food came out pretty quickly. My husband ordered the special: beef shank over polenta and I ordered the white truffle tagliatelle (which is a rarity and their special- whole last page of the menu was dedicated to this! The smell of the truffle was to DIE FOR). Both had great portions sizes and we left there feeling full but not overwhelmed. The bread starter was a nice touch but it was thick so don't fill up on that too much. Also for appetizer my husband had the burrata and I had the pasta fagioli. I had to get pasta when I heard they were all made in house, homemade! You can absolutely taste the difference. I want to take back any other 5 star review I've ever given- Pasta And was incredible through and through. Definitely ask to be sat with Kush- he is super attentive, so fun, and has the best recommendations on food and beverage. We started with bison tartare on top of stracciatella topped with sub dried tomatoes with oil. The tartare was incredible and had a beautiful bite of garlic to balance out all the creamy goodness. I ordered the special of risotto with scallops are it was the finishing of mascarpone cheese and lemon sauce took this over the top. My husband had the elk parpadelle which wasn't really anything but a meat sauce- not tomatoe based, not cream based- just beautifully seasoned meat on top of fresh pasta. You could literally drive right past this gem and never think twice but IT IS WORTH THE STOP. I was SHOCKED at the gem we found at Pasta And thanks to some friends recommending this place. I was a bit tipped off at the beginning of our dining experience when we walked in. I was wearing a jacket since it was chilly out for me since I was 9 months pregnant and didn't really show, they said the only seats available are outside. I saw a few tables inside but I didn't want to make a scene since we brought a friend along. My boyfriend and friend order a bottle of red wine. Came here for my boyfriend's birthday and it was absolutely amazing. It's truly a hole in the wall - the shopping center where it's located has nothing to do with the inside. She contacted the restaurant ahead of time and they assured her they could accommodate a vegetarian. They offered many spectacular pasta dishes but the only sauce they would offer was a cream sauce. Probably great but not my wife's preference. The waiter tried to accommodate by offering to go to the local 7-11 and get her some chips. Guess he was being funny but it's Not the kind of service I am used to from fine restaurants. She ended up with salad and soup, which were great but she could have gone to Panera for a quarter of the cost. My bad in not asking to speak to the manager or chef, but the waiter had us convinced that the chef was not flexible nor accommodating.
