I was craving a good steak and came across this casual, laid back steakhouse. After reading several…read morereviews praising their beer cheese and pretzels, I knew I had to find out for myself. I made a reservation, but when I arrived, only a few people were sitting at the bar, so I practically had the entire dining room to myself. Phyre is located on a quiet street just steps away from St. Cloud City Hall. The décor features black velvet booths, black chairs, and marble tables. It isn't fancy, but it has a cool, modern vibe. They even had a huge Christmas tree still on display, decorated in preparation for the Fourth of July, which definitely caught my attention. Allie was my host and server, and she was friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout my visit. Every restaurant needs a Allie. She was amazing! If Phyre management reads this, she needs a raise. I mean absolutely wonderful service! I started with what they call the "Our Fashion" cocktail and their famous pretzels served with beer cheese . The cocktail was enjoyable, and I can see why the pretzels get so much attention. They were soft, warm, and fresh. I would have preferred a little less salt, but then again, it wouldn't really be a pretzel. The cheese sauce could have been hotter, but it was flavorful and paired well with the pretzels. For my entrée, I ordered the surf and turf featuring filet medallions, three crab-stuffed shrimp, and a side of garlic mashed potatoes. The food arrived surprisingly quickly, which I appreciated. The filet medallions were cooked to a perfect medium and had a nice slight crisp on the outside, although they weren't quite as hot as I would have liked. It was served towith a delicious wine sauce that really elevated the dish. The crab stuffed shrimp were flavorful, and the garlic mashed potatoes were a great complement to the meal. Overall, I enjoyed my Sunday dinner at Phyre. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the food delivered a satisfying steakhouse experience. I'd definitely return to try more of the menu.

You can really tell the kitchen takes pride in the quality of the ingredients and preparation. Huge kudos to Chef Frankie for delivering such a phenomenal meal. Everything from the steak to the sides was well executed and beautifully presented. Our server, Aubrey, was fantastic and truly elevated the experience. She was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu without ever making us feel rushed. Her service made the evening feel relaxed and enjoyable. We also have to mention the banana fosters cheesecake for dessert--it was absolutely amazing and the perfect way to end the meal. Rich, flavorful, and something we would come back for on its own. Great atmosphere, excellent food, and standout service. Between Chef Frankie's incredible cooking and Aubrey's attentive service, this steakhouse is definitely a place we will return to and highly recommend

My husband and I were running errands and we both wanted a burger. My husband had been before but I hadn't and he suggested Mutts. I told him I wanted to dine in, and not drive through and he told me there was an indoor dining area. Well, we went inside to a small but good sized eating area with trivia questions on the table. Bonus! The trivia questions were fun to play while we waited. The order taker was very nice and so was the server. It was noticeable that a burger joint had service with a smile. That is rare now! A plus! The burgers were delicious. None of that smash burger business here, just hand made (open kitchen) burgers that were juicy, and delicious. We had onion rings and fries and they were delicious as well. We went for the trifecta and had milkshakes too-also fabulous! I really think that these burgers along with the friendly service are worth a drive if you don't live near St.Cloud.

Great food I love the greasy burgers, but I don't love the price if they had better operation times where they can make up for their pricing I think would benefit them. I've never spent so much on just a drink alone at a restaurant, but I will tell you, the owners are quite friendly and very lovable. I don't have a problem supporting a small town business, but it's not a place that I'm gonna go too often. I'm raking my stars off of pricing and for the last two times I've been there. It just looked very grungy. This place needs a little lift me up in a deep cleaning.

The Lakefront is one of their featured places to go and Crabby's On The Lakefront is the centerpiece of the Lakefront, known for its seafood and great views. People will tell me to come and after a while, I finally listened and went. It's a day out in the town for my wife and I. This was our first stop. I made the reservation the day before in OpenTable and it was pretty easy to do and when I arrived, my reservation outside on the docks was there and quickly seated. The service was welcoming, very family oriented and pretty relaxing outside on the deck. It was sunny, hot and just a beautiful view. Their menu has a lot of selections. We started off with a shrimp appetizer and drinks. It was wonderful and service was quick as well. I had the WONDERFUL Chilean Sea Bass and my wife had crab cakes. We tasted each other's plate and the seafood is DELICIOUS! It was fresh, well seasoned, full of flavors and tender. None of the seafood went dry and it was a fun plate to eat. Why 4 stars instead of 5? The food was excellent, service was great, but they are on the pricier side compared to other places that compete with them. It costs my wife and I $110 to eat in total there. So if you want to enjoy, you need extra money and for a family, you better budget because it'll be maybe in the $250 range for a family of 4-5. Other than the price, if you have the finances to eat here, I'd recommend it!

I'm always up for trying new and different versions of desserts, especially ice cream! So when Joe…read moreK found out about this unique ice cream parlor that features liquid nitrogen as the star of the show, literally; I was curious and excited to see the process in action! The drive to get here from our vacation condo, was a little out of our way, and finding the shop in this small, lack luster strip mall made it also hard to find. The shop sign wasn't very bright, so we almost passed it by. Once we realized that we had found the place, I still wasn't sure what we were walking in to! As we entered, I felt like we were at a children's day care with colorful chairs, and white wooden picnic tables with toys and games strewn about. Children were present eating ice cream and playing board games. The ordering counter and kitchen behind it looked more like a children's science laboratory with a mostly sterile white and stainless steel appearance. The woman at the counter greeted us and explained how they make their concoctions. A wall menu is placed at one side of the room. They have a huge selection of ice cream flavors, along with whatever additions and toppings you could possibly think of! Your creations begin with a liquid ice cream base, measured and placed in a metal bowl. Then your flavor or flavor combinations, and possibly some food coloring are added a little at a time. The process continues as liquid nitrogen is released into the mixture with continuous stirring. Your extra ingredients are either poured or chopped up to be added. More liquid nitrogen is flashed in while the stirring continues until it firms up into a more solid form. Making a decision was difficult for me, so since I was in unfamiliar territory, I played it safe by ordering my usual favorite of chocolate chip mint. Joe was more of a dare devil, and chose a peaches, caramel, and graham crackers mixture. It seemed like a lot of time and work to make ice cream the hard way, but I must say, that our frozen creations were well worth the wait! I really enjoyed my special made mint ice cream which contained a lot more chocolate chips than what you would find at other average shops or grocery stores. I loved this new way of making ice cream the futuristic and scientific way, laboratory style! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_aTLHEXJ5z4

(EDIT: OK, guess they're not new - that's why they nailed it!) First off, the business right across from Gatorland, is in a tiny plaza and a small store. There's some beach chairs & a couple tables with some fun games on them. My fiancee and I kept playing a game where we pressed the alligator teeth, trying not to get bitten! On with the ice cream: it was plain yummy! I ordered raspberry ice cream, which they made by adding crushed up fresh raspberries to the cream base. Some Nutella and peanut butter cups made my ice cream delicious! My fiancee ordered mint ice cream with Oreos and M&Ms. The mint concentrate was dark green & added amazing flavor to her ice cream. It was a great all-around experience and we'll be back!

We happen to stumble upon Jimmy Bears BBQ and are glad we had the opportunity to try it! We came on a Friday night around 6pm, expecting the restaurant to be packed but as we walked in we quickly realized we were the only patrons there. During our time there we never saw anyone else come in either. We ordered our food to-go, and it came out relatively quickly! We felt the price was on par with similar restaurants, and very fair for the amount of food you received The food itself was overall decent. There were some items that we really enjoyed, like the Mac and cheese, three blind mice sandwich, and the Alabama white sauce!! Other items like the green beans or pulled brisket left us wanting more. The green beans did not taste fresh, and the brisket lacked seasoning/flavor. There were also a lot of fried elements like the tater tots, onion rings or even the mozzarella sticks on the three blind mice sandwich, which we feel like were all decent and not too greasy, but also know those are easy things to make regardless of where you're at! The staff was very friendly at the restaurant! They were available if we had questions, and got our food out quickly to us. The ambiance of the restaurant was a little out of date and worn. You could definitely tell this establishment/building has been here for awhile with little to no updates over the years. A few updates to the space I think would really transform it and make it look like it belongs in 2023 not 1993. We do see ourselves coming back in the future, as we saw a few other menu items we are curious about trying!

Everything was really flavorful, filling, and worth trying. My only small complaint with the food is that you can't mix and match the tacos, which would be nice since they have some fun options. The restaurant itself has a bar, indoor and outdoor seating, and a very nice modern style. The staff was friendly and seemed to be trying their best to keep up with how busy and hectic the restaurant gets. I took off a star because the air conditioning is definitely an issue, which made the experience less enjoyable, especially in this Florida heat. This isn't my first time here, and every visit seems to come with a wait. They also seem to be short-staffed most of the time, so service can feel a little stretched. I would say it's on the pricey side, but the food is worth it in the end. With better staffing and some cooling in the dining area, the overall experience would match the quality of the food so much better. With that being said, I'll definitely be back, but probably on a day when it's nice and cool!
