Cute place! You order at the counter and then they will bring the food out. We got the sampler so it came with ribs, chicken, pulled pork and pulled brisket ,three sides (beans, coleslaw and corn casserole), and 4 pieces of Texas toast. We ate in and brought the food out pretty quick! Everything was delicious, the bbq sauce came on the side. The ribs and the pulled pork were my favorite! All the sides were delicious. Granny's Southern Smokehouse was just that ... Smokey flavor with the perfect amount of sweetness with the sauce. I really enjoyed my meal. I was very impressed with the food portion for lunch as well as the hotness of the food and flavor. I placed an order for pickup not expecting much but I was pleasantly surprised. I'm so happy that I searched up lunch in my area and found this gem. The service was quick over the phone and I was greeted by a nice young lady at the register. The ambiance is nice as it gives an old country feel, my preference is always too sit outside but if you prefer inside there's plenty of seating. Well we moved to the area and wanted some Country eating and found Granny's. Well I have to tell you it felt like we were right at home. The outside is welcoming with a grill with a smoker attached to it. You're able to either sit inside or outside to eat. They have multiple entrees and size to choose from which was very appealing. Then we go over to my sweets and honestly they had a variety to choose from so we ended up getting one of each. The Banana pudding and the Strawberry Shortcake (homemade) was the best. Now the fried Oreos were the only item we didn't get. The quality and quantity of the food was very decent. Well I can say we found our first restaurant that we will be eating from since we just moved here in St. Cloud Florida. The restaurant itself is small, but there are seating options both in and outside. The staff were super friendly and helpful! Because it was our first time here we had a few questions about the menu and they were so patient to answer any and all questions we had! The food was okay. It definitely has a very unique flavor profile! The portions were very large as well! Some of our meal highlights were the fry seasoning, BBQ sauce, and the toast!! The food in general was a little underwhelming for as much hype we see this restaurant get on both social media and locally. I'ma need Granny to move closer to my house. I haven't had gizzards this good in a very long time! My friends know that I'm quick to reach for a salt shaker. Not necessary here. I had considered getting a full pound, but half a pound was more than I could handle. I was happy to have leftovers, though. I didn't know what to expect with the fried corn on the cob, but it turned out to be delightful. The fried okra was tasty, but I had a number of pieces that had tough spines. You don't know it until it jabs you in the gums. Tasty but tricky. The desserts are really good too. The fried Oreo was heavenly if you like those. The strawberry shortcake was tasty too. To order, you walk up to their service window and get your choice of seating inside at tables for 2-6 guests, or outside- large picnic tables. They are friendly, helpful, and prompt. The portions are reasonable and prices average out to about $20.00 per person with sides and drink. The platters come with a Texas toast slice and two sides. Like there is no way to describe the awesomeness of Granny's Southern Smokehouse. From their bone licking delicious wings. To every bite of their food Granny's does not miss a mark. We ordered the Granddaddy sampler to which some substitutions needed to be made due to product shortages. In lieu of ribs we got wings, and in lieu of smoked chicken on the bone we got shredded chicken. Both substitutions were just as amazing if not better. Now one must rave about the fantastic customer service from the phone call to the friendly greeting as one enters this nostalgic place everyone was remarkably courteous and attentive to our desires.
