I've been wanting to try the original Pisco restaurant for some time. We were nearby to the Pisco Express and decided to give it a shot for lunch. They offer lunch specials for $15.99, which comes with an appetizer, entree and a soft drink. We ordered one of those with the ceviche to start and the fried fish with yucca. I have to say the portion sizes on both of these were really disappointing. The dishes were pretty mediocre too. The ceviche only had shaved onions on it with a little sprinkle of inca corn and a tiny slice of sweet potato. The fried fish was basically fish sticks, with two small yucca strips. We also ordered the empanadas for $12, with lomo saltado with cheese. It was okay but nothing that impressive either. Overall I wouldn't recommend this place for Peruvian. It's overpriced and portions are soooo small. read more

Fave Orlando Peruvian restaurant for me now goes to Pisco Express. We have been here twice and was excited to see it was right across the street from the hotel that we stayed at - Home2 Suites/Hampton Inn. We decided to go here for lunch and it was a perfect choice. This time around I ordered ceviche which also with fried calamari. I also tried a passion fruit Pisco. It was happy hour and they were $6. It was so good and refreshing to drink and they are called Pisco Express. My husband had his fave choice - Tallarin Verde-green pesto noodles with steak and chicken. These are great dishes and knowing it's our second time here, it doesn't disappoint. They have inside and outside tables. They also have happy hour specials and they decorate nicely, colorful, & eye popping. read more

This is a great hidden gem! Cool place to try if you're looking for something new and exciting. Unfortunately, I cannot comment as to the authenticity but it all seemed very Peruvian legit to the untrained palate. Pisco drinks are great! They also have a couple Peruvian beers to try. Why did it take me this long to try this place? Finally stopped by yesterday and had the most amazing experience. We have been to Pisco before and enjoyed that experience but we actually was surprised that we love it here more!! It is more casual and the food and drinks are just amazing! First our waiter Diego was the best!!! One of the best waiters we have ever had! So attentive and efficient, just an overall amazing person! He suggested us things to try that we would have never ordered. Drinks we had the pisco sour passion fruit To start we got the trilogia de causas: lomo saltado, ceviche, and shrimp. Wow what a way to start! Each sit ontop of what is similar to mash potato. Entree we got the pulpo La brasa and arroz con mariscos, both were absolutely delicious. Octopus was cooked perfectly, the seafood rice dish was so flavorful, it's like a risotto, absolutely delicious. We were full but took home two desserts, the chocolate torte and the flan. The environment is very nice, but music was too loins for lunch time. Our waitress Rosnell was very friendly and help us with everything doubt we had. The corn snack they serve is very additive, salty and crunchy. I have never eaten leche de Tigre, so I cannot say if this is the right amount of salt, the ceviche was good, but the leche de Tigre was extremely salty and sour. My chicken with salad and rice was good and tasty. The lomo saltado tasted ok, the complain is just for the amount of protein for the price. A mix combination with 2 small pieces of meat, 2 of chicken and maybe 3 shrimps. A lot of onions and potatoes for $21. This place was extremely impressive to be a express restaurant. Food: the sensation of flavor was beyond good. We had the lomo salteado steak. The steak was perfectly cooked and the sauce was savory. Jalea de marisco was flawless it was crispy and cooked beautifully. The papas a la huacaria havent had a good one in ages this was great the sauce was creamy and flavorful. The presentation to be an express restaurant deserves a 5 stars just alone beautiful presentation. Service: basically you go ahead an place the order and then find a table on your own. However I most say the team there was very helpful on bringing things to our table and taking care of us although is not like a regular serving restaurant. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Although the place is called pisco, the restaurant only serves wine and beers. If you're looking for some good fresh Peruvian restaurant then Pisco is the place. read more

So happy to see a new Peruvian spot in town! There's only a limited amount of Peruvian spots in orlando so we love to see it! Pisco express is a cute little spot tucked away in Lake Nona. They have indoor and outdoor seating, but this place can get packed, especially on a weekend! I ordered a ceviche de mariscos, which was actually pretty good, I can't complain (as a fellow Peruvian, I prefer mine spicy, but that's ok)- it was actually a decent size portion and I loved the presentation! I paired it with a yummy chicha morada, I've had better, but this one was a good 3/5. I also had some of the lomo saltado, which was also delicious! The steak was so well made and the French fries tasted pretty good! Overall, my party of 8 waited like 15 minutes for food, but everything was so fresh and made to order! I would definitely stop in again if I'm in Lake Nona and craving some Peruvian food! The menu is definitely more limited/smaller than I expected, but as it is a new place I imagine it will grow once they again more popularity! read more

My family and I decided to come visit the newest addition to the lake Nona franchise family. Locations is pretty easy and close to the kekes and Don Julio's by Eagle Creek Center Boulevard. Parking was easy as well, but places get packed quick so you may need the take a couple spins around the building till you find one! We all ordered different dishes, but I ordered Lomo Saltado which is Peruvian style steak with fries, rice and tomatoes. Came out a bit cold, but the taste and flavor made up for it. Great seasoning, good spice level and steak was cooked right to the point where you can enjoy it. Wasn't too chewy or too dry, but just the right amount of moisture. In my opinion I paired it with some Kola Champagne, but they have many other Options such as sodas, juices, and some beer. All together was about $24, but it was delicious and I am really interested in trying all the other dishes they have to offer, but good vibes and energy for their new opening ! Loved the service, employees, and their great hospitality. Design, people, and layout definitely made it feel much like a real Peruvian restaurant. read more

We heard about a new Peruvian restaurant opening up in Lake Nona and we were excited to try it out! The space is small but beautifully decorated with a nice ambiance. We were quickly seated by the friendly staff here. We ordered the ceviche classico and seco de res. The food was plated elegantly, and I loved the attention to details. The ceviche classico was made with tilapia and tasted super fresh and delicious! I love the different elements of the dish, from the bite of the choclo, to sweetness of the soft potato that really created a party on the palate. The seco de res came with slowed cooked beef served over rice, beans, and pickled onions. I enjoyed the flavor from the stewed beef along with the rice and beans. However, the meat was cut too thick so the center was a bit dry as the stew could not penetrate it. TLDR; very enjoyable meal and glad to see a Peruvian spot in Lake Nona. Was interested by the fusion of Peruvian and Chinese. Walked in to the restaurant, stood by the door, waited and then made eye contact with a couple of service folks, but they continued on with finding other things to do. After a few minutes, the bar tender finally asked if I was there to pick up food. I said no and asked for a menu for a to go order. There didn't seem to be much of a fusion between Peruvian and Asian food, but more Peruvian. Being that I wasn't interested and the service experience, I gave the menu back and walked out. read more

The absolute BEST Peruvian spot in Orlando, HANDS DOWN! We celebrated my mom's birthday here and there were 15 of us in total for this smaller establishment. They never made us feel like a burden and were EXTREMELY accommodating! We all sat outside during a lovely night (not too hot or cold, just right) and the Mark Anthony music was blasting which we loved! And not loud enough where we couldn't hear each other which was nice! Just added to the overall vibe. My boyfriend and I ordered the Leche de Tigre ceviche app which was mind-blowingly delicious (I could put that sauce on anything!) and my Jalea was to die for! I ordered the Lomo Soltado with Steak and subbed the white rice for tostones. The steak was so tender and flavorful. The tostones were served hot and freshly fried. The fries seemed like they needed a few more minutes in the fryer but it wasn't inedible to the point where I felt the need to send it back. We asked if they had a white garlic sauce and they provided something called Tártara. It tasted so good and went so well with my entree! Especially for dipping my fries. One of my cousins ordered the same as me but kept the white rice. He enjoyed the meal just as much as me. We both ordered their Sangria and I can confidently say that it was one of the best Sangrias I've ever had. Not overly bitter or too sweet. So delicious! My other cousin ordered the Pulpo La Brasa. The sauces that came with her dish were tasty. My favorite was definitely the chimichurri. She described the grilled octopus as tender and that both the potatoes and octopus were seasoned super well. I would consider the price to be reasonable considering the area the restaurant is in, ambience, portion size, and quality. I had enough leftovers that could be a second meal for me. The place is very small and was crowded when we went. It was difficult to be seated since everyone's chairs were back to back from each other. We thought we had to order at the counter but luckily someone saw our confusion as we walked in and told us we could be seated anywhere and a server would be with us. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The service was a bit slow. In the beginning our waitress was at our table often but once the food came out, we couldn't find her. We asked a man for help when it came to requests for the garlic sauce and napkins. I think he may be the manager because his customer service was exceptional. read more
