Probably the worst customer service I have ever encountered. I called first, to see if they delivered to my address, when they said yes, I placed an order for lunch. After them calling me four times, and telling me that the driver was lost, they reassured me that the food would be here in 20minutes. This was after already waiting an hour. When the extra 20 minutes passed, I called to ask where the delivery was. Their response, "we're not delivering to you because we don't deliver there." Like what!?!?! I've been coming to La Primicia for a few years because I live near the place. So I know what they have. I have had every item on the menu except for the mangu, and that's only because mangu looks weird. Here's what to get daily: -Pernil - Roast Pork -Porco Salteado - pork sautéed with onions and peppers -Pollo Asado - Rotisserie - Chicken -Pollo al Horno - Baked Chicken -Pollo Frito - Fried Chicken -Sopa De Pollo - Chicken Soup -Sancocho (Saturday's) -Dominican style Lasagna (Friday's, $5 per square [dif from Italian in that it's more meat and less sauce]) Those all come with a choice of rice & beans, yuca, green plantains or French fries. But the best way to do it is to order from their A La Cart menu. The "A La Carta" menu items come with a nice salad along with the other stuff. The "A La Carta" menu items are not pre-made. The cooks make it upon order, so it's hotter and fresher than the stuff in the daily menu. La Primicia also makes breakfast stuff and decent shakes. This place "is what it is" which is a decent Dominican Food Spot on the West Side Section of JC, on the border of Greenville. The only issue I have with the place is that sometimes the people they have taking orders aren't to fluent in English which can be frustrating for them and their customers. Thankfully I don't have a problem communicating but I don't represent most people. Happen to go to Jersey City to see a friend who owns a business there. He invited me to lunch asked try this place since I never been there. We ordered our lunch from La Primicia. Their food is unbelievable. The chicken had to be cooking for hours because when I took a bite the skin was just right and the rest of the meat just fell off the bone!. The beans and rice was phenomenal, steamed vegetables (cauliflower, carrots, string beans) great, They had their own hot clear colored, garlic flavored dipping sauce (or maybe it was a gravy to be poured over the veggies).
