    ACs vent is off.

Kinda a hole in the wall and the room are dark and outstayed and need some TLC and lots of maintenance. Breakfast is pretty good. Very limited staff. For instance, had to wait 10 minutes to ask for tow because the receptionist was helping other folks. We came here because it had an indoor pool. But the lights in the pool area didn't work. Also there were lots of open holes and exposed duct work. Probably other options in the area that are nicer.

Barbie went to the lobby (I sent her) And she wore hot stilettos to enter And then she led the way To the room, stayed all day And we had lots of fun at La Quinta Mmmm. This was a wonderful La Quinta which we absolutely loved staying at, located way up in Cedar Park in the NW Burbs of ATX. And on the one hand it's so far out of the way of Austin that it was kind of annoying location-wise, and it feels like it's being built on territory that's being claimed from the rest of Texas bit by bit, but that's cool and we're fine with that. Now on the positive side, it's definitely one of the loveliest places we stayed in Texas, and it wasn't even too expensive. It's right across from the Lakeline Mall, not far from the highways, and we loved the hotel in almost every way.

Worn out chair and curtain pull off

Stayed here last night (Saturday). Front desk was less than welcoming and took almost 15 min to check me in (I was the only person in the lobby) at 4pm. We stayed in room 208 which was not well cleaned (we found French fries in the microwave) and generally in fair condition (see photo of desk chair). One of the curtain pulls was missing and mold around the interior window frame. Bed was not comfortable. We've stayed here in the past and were satisfied but the property needs some TLC. We stayed here after a concert right from the road for one night only. It was ok. Not horrible but a few little things that added up yo super annoying by the time we left. We were able to check in early which was awesome, but they gave us the wrong room, so we had to switch. The concert was right down the road, but by the time we got back, there wasn't any parking. And it wasn't even that late! The breakfast was good but they ran out of a few things and never refilled. They did have a gentleman there monitoring it but I think he was a little overwhelmed. We were also overcharged for the room, but when I noticed and called them, they fixed it. The first person I talked to was rude but when I said I had the email showing the correct charge and asked where to send that, she seemed a lot nicer. We stayed on the parking lot side, which was pretty quiet, but the first room was on the street side and I think it would be loud at night. The shower head was broken but of course we didn't realize till we took showers the next morning. Before checking out. So that sucked for us. I told the front desk, but that didn't really help us any. I would probably stay there again but would Uber to the concert and for sure check the shower head as soon as we got there! And check my bill before leaving!

    Old torn worn out comforter!

I was evacuated due to a wildfire last night. Checked into this hotel and was very disappointed in my room. Was a bit dirty and when I pulled back the comforter which did not appear to be clean at all, I found it to also be torn all the way across the top with batting hanging out. I guess they thought folding it under would be just good enough. They moved me to another room which was just slightly better. Towels were old and dingy and the desk chairs in both rooms were torn up! The floors in the hallways were really dirty too! I won't be going back or recommending this hotel at all.

    Roach's
    Haze M.

I'm rating this a 3 because the staff is amazing. Yet, they have bugs. I just think roaches in the bed is gross. I stayed one night then left. Again, the hotel appears to be very clean, but when you see roaches it's off putting.

    Beautiful rooms!

Enjoyed the larger accessible room tonight since the availabilities were wide open, which is spacious and offers the small kitchenette and nearly full size fridge - very adequate for longer stays. Two additional stars if the elevators were not right at the exit of the hotel and before the hotel check-in desk. Also a couple of the parking lights were out. Both pose security issues for me and when traveling, that's one of my top priorities. Complimentary breakfast is always a nice feature, this one offers more like an express version than that of their sister hotels. One night stay was just right for us!

My wife did the booking as I was at work, and thought she booked another place but it was fine. The front desk person when we checked in was friendly and they give you a card for several items at no extra cost from the store area. We took advantage of that as it was very nice. The room was comfy and a good size, we were only there one night not sure how cleaning works or service of new towels and replacements. They had a kitchen and bar that opened at 5 pm as as we came right after work we had not eaten so we went there first. The lady running the bar and taking the orders was by herself and was very good and friendly but leaving her alone seemed kind of bad on the part of the company. We got the happy hour old fashioned which was a good price but not very good. We tried it, we are always looking for different old fashions and some are great and others a miss. The food was surprisingly good for a hotel. I got a bacon cheeseburger and fries. Shana got dumplings and a salad. It didn't take to long though there were more people ordering by this time and it sounds like just one guy cooking. We slept well, the room was fine, the shower takes a while to heat up. SHANA SAYS: Good Service, very clean and well appointed but weird old carpet. Now Breakfast: We had breakfast the next day. They had a "buffet" for $13 dollars. This was awful, no one took it, and it was just sad. It had some fruit, juices in open carafes on the counter, some cereal, coffee, and oatmeal. 50% of it is butter, syrup, honey, etc. There is nothing there, it is insane. You can order breakfast and again one server and no one took the buffet. I had eggs, bacon and sausage. The bacon was crunchy and good, sausage was solid. The eggs were ok. Shana had French Toast and mostly enjoyed it, good for hotel French Toast. Our server here was good but strangely nervous and when I got my Dr. Pepper he wanted to know if it was alright as sometimes it is flat which seems to be a well known problem they don't fix. Shana used the gym, said it was good for a smaller hotel, had lots of different equipment but the treadmill was wobbly. It was fine for what we needed it for and was close to home. Given that it was close and for an emergency not sure would we stay here again unless a similar issue happened. It is not bad but the promised breakfast buffet really soured it.

However, I was not recognized as an elite member. I also didn't have a greeting on my TV when I walked through the door, and I didn't receive any texts from the staff welcoming me. I guess the other aloft hotels went above and beyond, and I received basic service here in North Austin. The room wasn't the cleanest. It wasn't filthy, but you can tell it didn't receive a thorough clean. There was hair in the shower, a red looking piece of something questionable on the door, something questionable that was brown on the bathroom floor close to the wall. I had slippers on and/or wore shower shoes the entire time. I didn't request to change rooms because I didn't want to end up with something worse than I had. I just sprayed the entire space with lysol. There was also an incident with the guest in the room next to mine, they left their dog in the room alone and it was crying, howling, and barking on and off for an extended period while I tried to work. I contacted the front desk through text around 830pm. and checked around 9pm. for a response and was told they were helping other guests. So yeah, I will not stay at this hotel again. Overall, it is a lackluster experience.

The beds were comfortable, and the location was convenient for our needs. We also appreciated the spacious room layout. Unfortunately, housekeeping and maintenance were inconsistent. We repeatedly requested removal of a dirty trash can that had clearly seen better days. We even placed it in the hallway, yet it was continually returned to our room without being replaced. We also experienced issues with room cleanliness and felt that basic housekeeping requests were not fully addressed during our stay. Another frustration was the early-morning grounds maintenance. Being awakened around 6:00 a.m. by landscaping equipment directly outside the building wasn't ideal, especially for guests on lower floors. It seemed like the work could have started farther from occupied rooms and moved inward later in the morning. What disappointed us most was the lack of follow-up regarding concerns we raised during our stay. We weren't looking for points, refunds, or compensation--we simply wanted the issues addressed so future guests could enjoy a better experience. Overall, the hotel has potential thanks to its friendly staff and convenient location, but attention to cleanliness, housekeeping communication, and guest comfort would make a significant difference. Would I stay again? Possibly, but only if these operational issues were improved.

There were definitely several positives: the property is located in a beautiful area, there is plenty of free parking, and the hotel itself is clean, modern, and well maintained. My room met my expectations for the rate I paid, and the location was especially convenient since the place I needed to be for work was only about three minutes away. Being roughly half an hour from the Austin airport was also very convenient. The staff experience, however, was mixed, and that is really what brought my rating down. When I arrived on Monday, both the woman at reception and the gentleman who checked me in were fantastic. They were friendly, welcoming, and made a very good first impression, even though I unfortunately did not get their names. On the other hand, the service I experienced afterward was not nearly as good. The gentleman working Tuesday night was not rude or offensive, but he came across as uninterested and not especially polite. He seemed preoccupied with other work, was turned away from the door, and gave me the feeling that I was interrupting him just by approaching the desk. He did not offer help, and the interaction felt dismissive. The experience on Wednesday morning was also disappointing. The young woman working the breakfast area/front service was on the phone while I stood there waiting for several minutes without even being acknowledged. Even a quick "I'll be right with you" would have made a big difference. I understand multitasking can be difficult, but basic acknowledgment is such an important part of hospitality. It felt more like a training issue than anything else. The manager that morning was friendly and pleasant, but I also noticed him walk past a dropped napkin without picking it up. That may seem small, but details matter in hospitality, and they often reflect the overall level of attentiveness. As for the breakfast, I appreciate that it is included in the rate, and that is definitely a plus. I also want to mention that the woman preparing the food was very sweet and kind when I spoke with her, so my comments are not directed at her personally. That said, the breakfast itself was just average and not something to get excited about. The biggest issue for me was the eggs, which were clearly powdered eggs. For me, that is a major drawback because I place a high value on food quality. The rest of the breakfast was standard fare like bagels, sausage, jelly, butter, and similar basics. It was acceptable for a complimentary breakfast, but not memorable. In the end, this hotel has a lot going for it: a good rate, a clean and modern property, free parking, and a convenient location. If I were rating only the room and the property itself, I would probably score it higher. But because service and attention to detail matter so much to me, the inconsistency in staff professionalism brought the overall experience down. I had some excellent interactions and some disappointing ones, so I'm left feeling that this hotel has potential but needs more consistent customer service and better staff training.
