This was one of the worst hotel stays I have experienced. When we arrived, our room was approximately 80 degrees and extremely humid. The sheets felt damp from the heat and moisture, which made the room feel dirty and uncomfortable from the beginning. The shower would not drain, so we had to stand in dirty, backed-up water while showering. The hotel also had a strong, unpleasant body-odor smell. A staff member came to our room to fix the television, but his body odor was so strong that I did not feel comfortable asking him to return to address the other problems. The lobby was also extremely hot. Although breakfast was included, I did not feel comfortable eating the food because of the heat and the overall condition of the hotel. I filed a complaint and requested a refund, but I have been given the runaround instead of receiving a clear resolution. These were not minor inconveniences. The room was hot and humid, the bedding felt damp, the shower was unsanitary, and the hotel smelled terrible. On top of that the soap dispensers were watered down. I would not stay at this location again, and I cannot recommend it to others. read more

I stayed here a few years ago and it was great. This time, it was lacking. Elevator works sometimes, no one cares. I carried my luggage down 3 flights of stairs, front desk didn't care, didn't offer to help. Breakfast is a joke. Won't be back. My room key wouldn't work the second day, I went down and told them, they re keyed my room without checking my ID to see if I was registered. This was not the same person that checked me in. Next day, exact same thing, new person, no verification. So not acceptable. No one cares at this location. One employee told me that conditions are so bad they are quitting and they didn't care about my concerns. Shame on you Wyndham for allowing this to happen. read more

Don't stay here. This was place so gross. I don't think they cleaned at all before we got here. We even found an open cup of noodles in our microwave. Who knows how long it's been there. If they didn't clean that, I'm guessing they didn't clean anything. The entire place was really gross and missing items like the alarm clock. There's even a sheet that says how much you have to pay if those things are taken. But we didn't even have them in the room lol Our room key didn't work the second day! Very poorly run by management I'll be back to add the good stuff but this owner absolutely doesn't care about the property, furnishing, having each person do more than one job and micro manages through all the computers. No cell phone should be allowed during working hours. Front desk lack many who engage with guests. Housekeeping is beyond short handed, laundry is expected to be done by the front desk. Today I went back to get someone to greet a guest checking in. It was 1 1/2 before check in. That's understand, but to offer early checking at $20 when you're rooms aren't ready would have been a waste. The light fixtures in the sitting area are filthy, the couch is disgusting, and all the furniture in the rooms need to be updated. Stained, worn out, and just plain uninviting. Overall building cleaniness and maintenance was sub par. There was alot to be cleaned and maintained properly. Quality of continental breakfast was some of the worst I have ever seen in a hotel. Some of the staff were overdramatic and gave you not a good feeling. read more

We booked a room because weather was saying snow my husband had two Dr apts in Conway that day. Last one was at 6 pm so we decided it was safer for him to stay. Within hours of booking the Dr office canceled because of weather. I went to booking.com and canceled room. This property is right off of I-40, very convenient to get too in what I'd call hotel row. Super fast check in by the manager on duty Lisa. If she's not a manager she sure should be! Very gracious and lots of helpful information. Room was clean and comfortable and nice grassy area all around the hotel to walk your dog. Waste trash cans for dog waste at both side doors. Amid the Covid-19 outbreak I felt that all safeguards were taken. I would highly recommend and stay here again. read more

Oh how the mighty have fallen. We have been staying here 4x a year since 2016, and it used to be great. Couple years ago the ownership changed, and now we would NOT stay there if it was free!! Literally from the best La Quinta to the WORST La Quinta since the ownership change. Dirty, rundown, broken, with 1 or 2 people staffing the whole hotel when we stay. Last month was the LAST time we will ever go there - they didn't have enough staff AGAIN, couldn't clean the rooms, said all the rooms on the first and second floors were dirty and empty, and put us and the 2 other guests on the 3rd floor in the only cleaned rooms. And the hotel was literally empty except for us. An entire, dirty, empty hotel with a couple sad guests herded to the third floor. Dismal experience, tired rooms. Then, we came down for breakfast before leaving and....there was no breakfast. Kitchen was dark. They just didn't make it because there was no staff lol. Hey, they did us a favor and we just left, never to come back. So sad. The poor person at the front desk just rolled their eyes and said it's been this way ever since the new ownership. Go anywhere but here. Just in case you think I'm kidding, read my original review from 2017 where I was glowing about this place. I've stayed at a lot of laquinta's and this was the cleanest one. The room was updated. The air conditioning worked really well! The breakfast was great, I only wish the sausage gravy was a little warmer. But they had a lot to choose from- sausage, sausage gravy, fried eggs, waffles which you make on your own, oat meal, 3 different cereal, bagels, other breads.. juice, coffee.. We had our dog and was surprised there was NO extra fee!! Another laquinta in Oklahoma [ Shawnee ] charged a $20 fee. We also saved a little bit using a military discount which was nice! We stayed here based on the reviews but let's just say the reviews need updated. BOTH beds in our room were so old and broken in that the springs were in our backs the entire night, and the bed caved in towards the middle. The shower drain was so backed up and visibly corroded, the water wasn't draining so we showered in standing water. We needed shoes on to shower comfortably. The curtain covering the outside window had brown stains all over it that appeared to be old dried blood. The extra security lock on the door was broken. If you want a good nights rest... go elsewhere. read more

DO NOT STAY!!! This is a dirty hotel and it's so bad I needed to do a review and normally don't. The hotel, really a motel, are painting and there is paint in all the flooring in the hallways and spots in the rooms especially in the bathroom. The toilet seat clip was broken off and had urine, there was brown stuff on the white inside blanket ( hopefully chocolate). There were a few hairs in the tub. The decorative pictures looked like they were sprayed with glass cleaner and never cleaned off and the back of the remote was broken so the batteries were loose. The floor had things under the desk. Overall very dirty. I told the front desk and the man didn't seem to care. Hoping corporate will take a good look. Don't waste your money. There are many other nice motels by there. The stay at the hotel was fine but in the morning we discovered the battery of one of our cars was dead. We go inside to the lobby to ask if one of the hotel staff could help us with jumping our car. The staff refused saying there is no one who could help us.. apparently no one drives to work in Arkansas??? All we needed was another persons car, but so much for hotel hospitality. Overwhelmingly positive experience & a good night's sleep at a reasonable price. That being said, I'm allergic to mildew - and the trace amounts in my shower knocked a star off this review. I dont know how this place got such good reviews. Booked room based on reviews. After 12 hours on the road we were ready to relax. We had stayed at a La Quinta/Wyndham hotel the night before (pet friendly). It was a nice place, very clean. You could tell property was well looked after. Not so at this location. Walked in to reception area where a light was dangling out of hole in ceiling. Then the fire alarm went off. Hadn't checked in yet but thought maybe just an off moment. Took stinky elevator to our floor. All up and down hallway was in disrepair. I took photos to send to corporate as I'm sure they can't actually condone letting people stay here. But being as it was late and we were there just to sleep we just rolled with it. Housekeeping did a nice job on bedroom area but the toilet tank was cracked, lined with old mold. Paint and plaster splotches on floor. They only left us a quarter roll of toilet paper sitting in counter and no Kleenex. No fixture for TP. Television remote didn't work. Used remote for cable and could only get Disneys Rapunzel. Great movie but my kids are 17 now. I go to call front desk to ask but no phones. So I walked down and asked about phones and they a replacing with new. Why would you not keep the old until you get the new. Anyway, asked where I could get food and a glass of wine. I'm just thinking I can just let it all roll. Had dominoes pizza and NO wine...dry county. Some days you just can't win. On the plus side it had a good variety for free breakfast. read more

We stay here every time we're in Conway. It's great and the staff is super helpful and friendly. My experience this time had lead me to believe that there is no point to having "do not disturb" signs, as the staff will just come right on in whenever the heck they feel like it, even if you're still lying in bed in your underwear. Clean with nice modern amenities. This is my second stay at this LaQuinta in the last year and no complaints other than if you aren't staying on the right side/area it can get a little noisy in the early morning from interstate traffic but for the most part this was a quiet stay. Easy on easy off to interstate and lots of dining options near by. Sits walking distance to a Walmart if you need anything from there. However finding beer or wine for off premises sale is quite difficult if you want a wi d down drink after a day of travels plan on having at a restaurant or bring it with you if you want it in your room. read more

This has been the worst stay I have ever experienced at any hotel!! On arrival I found a towel in my room with blood on it. I took it to the head cleaning lady & she said, oh sorry! I asked that they clean our room again while we were out for dinner. Returned from dinner & found that the room had not been cleaned again because we found blood in the shower. We did not find the blood until 11:30pm so I didn't tell the front desk until the next morning. Basically was told it was our fault because I should have told them about it when I found it. I tried to tell them I gave the head cleaning lady the towel & she was at the front desk when I was taking the main person about it & the cleaning lady said, well it was just a little spot of blood! Like really, I don't care how big the spot is. My room should've been cleaned again. Well I didn't get anywhere with that it was basically a joke to them. They had wheat charged my card for both nights so we stayed the second night thinking nothing else would happen. Well that was incorrect as well. We woke up to a fire alarm in the middle of the night & all through the morning because someone in the room next to us was smoking! We could smell it!! I go to the front desk at 7:30am to complain because the alarm wouldn't quit going off & the firemen even showed up. I told the front desk & the fireman exactly what the problem was & no one even went up stairs to figure out who was smoking so the alarm would stop going off. I asked for the number to the manger & only got an email. In the email I gave her my number & asked her to call me. She has yet to email me back or call me. So many hotels to choose from in Conway, but this was a great choice. Arrived at 2:30pm & the ladies at the front desk obliged with a room without a wait. The room was clean & updated, beds comfy. The only issue we had was the heater in the pool was not working and the water was very cold, but the kids enjoyed it regardless. The breakfast was plentiful & hot, with the breakfast lady so kind and anxious to make us waffles & get anything needed. Coffee was superb. Bacon, eggs, etc. Choices were plentiful. The hardest part about the hotel is finding it behind another hotel, but with GPS on my phone, we went right to it. Will definitely stay again. read more

Only three hours of sleep. Party in the room above. Called front desk twice and went in person once. They had been instructed to "call mom" if that room got rowdy. Seriously?? While this was not the hotel's fault, they only offered to move us at midnight. We were not the problem, the party kids were! The ceilings are made of paper. Someone paced and thumped and the ceiling thumped and creaked and popped until 2:30am. It was awful and I will never stay at a la Quinta again. We had to stay there because it was pet friendly and my friend had a dog, so it you don't have a dog, understand this hotel was also full of dogs. read more

You know when you are in a good La Quinta when the toilet paper is not cardboard and the trash cans have liners! Of course, this was not the deciding factor for the review. The breakfast bar was fully stocked and had a wide variety of options. You could tell the staff took pride in their work. It was a pleasure to stay here. The room was quiet and restful.
