Everything is a mess at this location! Everything except the front desk ladies! Upon checking in, the hallway carpets were so stained and evidently had not been vacuumed because the "cannot find workers"- they do not have a regular maintenance person because I asked why there were bloody footprints around the pool from two days ago when a guest cut their foot on something in the pool area. The Hot Tub is dark green- trashing spilling over all trash cans. No mowing or picking up of litter in the parking area! The owner should be be held accountable by corporate! read more

As of the middle of August 2025, this property is no longer a LaQuinta. We arrived after a 1000 mi.+ drive, having made a reservation months before, to discover the signage down and a small group of guys supposedly doing a renovation. Breakfast was now cereal, bread, etc. Room was about the same as past stays...with the exception of tiny roaches coming up the tub drain. read more

This hotel is very dirty! The entire time I stayed there I never saw anyone cleaning. The carpet I'm the hallways are old, dirty and heavily stained. Everywhere you looked there was trash on th ground. The elevator was also dirty, the same trash that was there on the first night of my stay remained there until my check out day, which was 2 nights later. My room was also dirty, there was a pill on the restroom floor, toenails in the bedroom and even chips in one of the closets! The towels were all torn, & the shower head was very dirty! Bed sheets & pillow cases were clean but the pillows are very old, if you know you know. Breakfast was not made fresh as I saw one of the employees heat up potatoes in a microwave and serve it. First, they gave us the wrong room, and rude front desk woman with tats argued with me insisting repeatedly that I had booked a different room, even tho I had a copy of my reservation? Bed had no sheets. When I went to retrieve more, she began arguing again and threatened to call the cops? For WHAT? Room was filthy. Bathroom door did not lock. DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Very unprofessional! The manager(Ben)would never take my call nor would he ever call me back. When we walked in it reaked of pot ( it was supposed to be non-smoking). We were trying to tolerate it but decided to leave within the hour as our daughter got a bad headache. They told us they would give us the next nights points back but then did not give us any points back, stating that if we cancelled onsite, we forfeit our points. How are we supposed to know if there is a problem until we get there?! They have this policy because they know their hotel is dirty, stinks, and the service is terrible! I asked for 2 pillows for each child and they refused ( I had to request the linens for the sofa in the king suite) and they made me come get the linens that should have been in the room!!!! We usually have great luck with La Quintas, but this one wasn't up to par. We checked in and everything looked fine in the lobby. Very clean, nice amenities, friendly staff. Upon entering our room, I immediately noticed the floor wasn't vacuumed. It was actually so dirty that I found pills, a dirty towel, and even money on the floor (.25¢ to be exact). The ceiling of the bathroom was moldy and the shower was scummy. We asked to be moved to another room, and were promptly given another. Upon entering our second room, we noticed the bathroom was better, but still not clean. We decided to lower our standards and just deal with it. We couldn't get the cable to work, so we watched videos on our phones. And when I finally decided to go to bed, I pulled back the covers and found crumbs all over the sheets, along with some crusted substance on the corner. I slept on top of all the covers in my clothes. The breakfast was good, but it wasn't enough to make up for all the negatives that occurred through the night. read more

This place is absolutely filthy. The carpets are dirty and stained. The bedding is stained and dirty. The furniture is extremely dirty and uncomfortable. The tv screens are scratched. There were random hairs all throughout the room. The bathroom floors, walls and ceilings are gross. Black particles fell on the toilet from the dusty old ceiling vent. The fridge had old food and mildew. I cleaned the entire place with Clorox wipes, never took my shoes off, covered all of the furniture with towels and bedding. I asked for a new sheet set. They made me undress the bed and bring the old dirty ones down before giving me newer, less stained sheets. The poor, sweet girl at the desk had to call management/ownership just to confirm that I could get newly cleaned bedding. The space between the main hallway door and the floor is about 1/2". I placed a towel there to clear out noise and light. If you like camping, this is definitely the hotel for you, Except the pricing should be that of a campsite... read more

This hotel was nothing like the pictures. There were renovations going on but the place reeked of old bacon freeze. The hotel room was extremely dirty. It looked as if no one had even attempted to clean. The shower curtain and shower head was filthy. The mattress was stained. Someone's belt was lying on the floor when we arrived. We didn't even sleep in the room, our car was our best option. Only good thing about the room was that it came with free WiFi. read more

Great service, Paula was wonderful at check in. Loved the "hold the room" by text feature. Very clean, comfortable beds and maids do a great job. They don't get the 5th star because they stop breakfast at 9 which stunk. Can't comment if the breakfast was good or not because we missed it due to getting in at 11pm, waking at 8 and getting to breakfast at 9:10 after we showered and dressed. That was a real bummer. Probably managements great idea for saving money. Huge plus though that they are pet friendly! read more

I was supposed to stay here for two weeks for a business trip... I didn't even stay one hour. The staff was not welcoming. There are signs posted everywhere in the hotel that masks are mandatory per hotel COVID policy and neither staff nor other guests were wearing them. I asked to switch rooms twice after my original assignment as each room was so dirty with stains, pet hair, pet food. trash pieces, and had a bad odor. I didn't feel comfortable or safe enough to even sit on the couch or use the bathroom. After my third room assignment, I went back to the lobby to checkout. The woman at the front desk, Miracle, laughed when I told her I wanted to check out and my reasons. This place is obviously filthy, has poor management, and the staff lacks proper training and professionalism. STAY AWAY. It's worth the extra 10-15 minute drive to stay in Sugar Land than here. read more

two words. bed bugs! then to top it off, i went for another room at 3 am, before a busy day, and had to wait on the staff member to figure out how to move me to another room for over 20 minutes. Came back to my room to make sure I didn't forget anything in my rush out, only to find large bed bugs crawling all over my bed. Staff was absolutely wonderful and helpful, though their hands are tied as far as housekeeping. My bedding had NOT been changed (smelled like men's cologne and unwashed head) and carpeting not vacuumed or room cleaned properly (dirty face mask behind desk - visible pet hair on carpeting ). If you are allergic to pets, look elsewhere as this is pet friendly hotel. The hotel is in the middle of renovations and it's not a pretty sight. There are lots of trip hazards by way of missing tiles, holes in tiles, uneven floors. Bed and pillows were much too hard for my taste. The TV came in fine (DISH) and WiFi coverage was adequate although the town in general offered very low coverage for my cell phone. Breakfast was actually pretty good, REAL EGGS! Bacon, sausage, the usual breads, pastries, cereals, juices. Coffee wasn't too bad. After we got over our initial disappointment, I raised my rating one star, but be aware this hotel looks nothing like the pictures. The rooms are not soundproofed, so it really depends on the other patrons if your stay will be quiet. If possible, look over your room before you accept it. This LQ is not up to their usual standards. Not one room has been renovated (I asked) but the lobby is in the middle of new paint, floors, carpeting. read more

When I went to Texas I stayed here. It was a decent place. Only problem is that the maid never cleaned the room. I had to go to the desk or ask for towels or blankets. I guess when you leave the 'Do Not Disturb' on the door past a certain hour, they just don't ever come back to check to see if they should clean the room or not. It was nice to have their business computer room to use to access email and whatnot instead of having to pay extra for access in your room. The gym equipment was new and available to the guests. The pool area was kept clean. Two things about my stay here which really annoyed me. The complimentary breakfast they served in the morning was not bad. Usually eggs and sausage or bacon, pancakes, bagels, donuts, coffee, milk, juice. A great assortment of things to start out your day if you get your butt down to the lobby before 9:30 am which is difficult for late nighters like me. However, they had hash browns every day, and no ketchup. I asked the manager about this the first day. He said oh yes I forgot to buy it. I asked him the next day, same answer. He also said he was going to get some. The next day, still no ketchup. The manager sees me there and avoids the room. So I go talk to the lobby clerk. She says oh she'll talk to him. Next day, no ketchup again. Fuck this bullshit I say, I jump in my rental car and go buy my own ketchup. For the next two days, I bring my own ketchup to the breakfast in the morning. Other people see me with ketchup and ask if they can use it. I say sure go ahead. But when I go back to my room I take my ketchup with me. If you want ketchup, complain to that stupid manager. A week after the manager said oh yeah I will get some ketchup, I'm boarding a plane for home and I have to toss out my big bottle of ketchup at the TSA screener. Did I leave it for the hotel? Hell no. Go buy some ketchup yourself you moron. The other thing that bugged the hell outta me is the 2nd floor hallway smelled strongly of bleach or some cleaning product the whole stay. It was really annoying. Like they were trying to cover up some other nasty smell that was in there. Anyways, if you're going to stay here you better bring your own ketchup. Or any other condiments you might want for breakfast for that matter. read more

Stayed her for two nights and it's an okay place. Very quiet not a lot of activity which I like. It's clean and the housekeeping was very efficient, they did a really good job. The front desk clerks were quick and friendly. The only downsides were the coffee was terrible and the television was difficult to figure out. We usually stay at Spring Hills when we come to Rosenberg and wanted to try something different but I think because of the room size and amenities we'll go back to Spring Hills next year. read more

The room itself was tidy but dirty. I told the staff there was old food left in the refrigerator but in three days they never took it out. The elevator and hallways are SUPER dirty. It stinks bad and generally looks old and used. Had major issues signing in because their system was down. The milk in the morning was sour and the eggs didn't taste like actual eggs. There was a group of teenagers running the halls and cursing and slamming doors one evening for hours. The manager came up and starts yelling at them. Then the coach comes out and is yelling at them. They were finally told they were on the verge of being kicked out. It was a fiasco. Never again! read more

Everything was clean and in working order. It was an ok place to stay. The biggest concerns for me were (1) very loud. Anyone walking above or on the sides sounds like pounding in the room. (2) beds and pillows are old. Probably the lumpiest pillows that I have ever slept on. read more

In making reservations for my Senior parents I made An error in arrival date. I immediately phoned back and spoke with Rohit who was the gentleman that helped me in making the original reservation. When I asked for help in changing the date. Rohit made this painless and quick fix with no issue at all. I so appreciate his professionalism! I called and let the lady know that I was renting a room just to come swimming and she said that was fine.When I get there we change and the kids get in the pool the hot tub water is green so I go to front and ask if the pool is clean?One of the ladies working said no and the one who checked me in said yes it so they are back and forth with yes and no I should have left then but I didn't then my sister came with her 2 kids so my 2girls can have company and the GM said if they swim I have to pay $10 extra each kid so my sister offered to rent a room so her kids can swim and if later she wanted to get in the water and the GM told her she can rent a room and still pay $10 for her kids to swim so I told them that I didn't want to stay if I'm not allowed to have guest so they said they can check me out but I wouldn't get a refund oh and there's a guy that is in and out the building just smoking so I ask are you the owner he said yes I'm one of them and I tried to explain the situation to him he said either do what the GM says or I'll have the police escort you out. I said ok charge me for the 2hrs that I was here basically arguing for 30min they said no I'm gonna charge you for the night and you don't get a refund and very disrespectful with an attitude so yeah this is the 1st and last time I will ever step foot in this place so this place has so much mold in tub and blood on blanket the room stinks the fridge doesn't work read more

I just want to let everybody know don't stay at the La Quinta in Rosenberg Texas. We had been staying there for 3 weeks and paying for our stay every week. Over the weekend we want to the front desk to renew for the week and they said that they didn't have any rooms available because of a a Jehovah's Witness convention. They couldn't make any exceptions. Me being pregnant didn't matter, so we had to move again. It's ok they didn't Change our linen every time they clean our room, its probably for the best. And to add insult to injury, our home was wiped out because of the flood . The GM knew that and still showed zero compassion. If I suffer a miscarriage because of the chaotic stress then all hell will break loose and that's a promise . It will be my mission in life to blackball this hotel. read more

My home was flooded in the May 7 flash flood. I checked in late soaking wet with my elderly mom, 2 kids, 2 dogs and very little belongings. The staff and management were extremely helpful and caring. I had to stay 10 days and had no complaints. Everyone was wonderful. The property owner takes great pride in this property and it shows. I felt like I was leaving friends when I checked out. The entire staff and management made a very bad personal situation so much better for me and it was greatly appreciated. read more

Our family is an active duty military family in the middle of government assigned move to the area. We are staying at the La Quinta Inn and Suites in Rosenberg, Texas. We have been welcomed with open arms with our pets. Mary who is the Marketing Director has went above and beyond to make sure our family is taken care of and comfortable. She even provided her personal cell phone number in the event we have questions pertaining to the area. The hotel is exceptionally clean, and the staff are more than friendly and accommodating. We are pleased we chose to stay here, it has lessened the burden of our uprooting move. Our four year daughter has become friends with the staff and they know our family members by name. If you are looking for a place to rest comfortably, or conduct business this is the place you will want to chose in the Rosenberg, Texas area.
