The reviews are pretty outdated so here's an update! This place is usually super busy. During my visit I tried a couple of different things. I was so excited to see they had Dubai Strawberries because I had been searching for them everywhere. I actually really liked them and now after having tried them from different places, can say that these have been the best ones. It was a good portion for the price. We tried the Strawberry & the cotton candy ice cream. In addition to trying the Elote in a cup which I quite enjoyed. This location was clean, busy, but welcoming. Got a mango paleta, strawberry ice cream, and agua fresca they were okay. What I did not like the amount food coloring they use on ice cream and paleta. My family and I are regulars and I ordered the dubai chocolate strawberries today. They were horrible and I kindly asked for a refund. When I asked the older lady rolled her eyes and gave me so much attitude and refused. She was so rude and ill never go here again. read more

Horrible customer service! I walked in yesterday around 6:30pm, I was with my son, I wasn't greeted or anything, I was standing there waiting for someone to take my order, at the far end by the register there was 4 employees talking. Then a young girl comes in after me and she's immediately greeted and her order was taken, and I'm still standing there waiting to even be acknowledged, then I notice a couple walk in and they are waiting to be greeted by someone, suddenly some guy walks up to the register and his order for a milkshake with egg was immediately started and I can tell the couple that had been waiting were upset but no one even went up to them to take their order. If I could negative star it, I would. This is ridiculous. This is suppose to be tosti locos. This doesn't even have chamoy. This doesn't even look appetizing. I drove 30 fucken minutes for this. Look at the small amount of tamarindo in the corner too. I get it the girls were busy, but that doesn't call for bad orders. I'm so disappointed. I can't even eat this. They have a lot of good treats, but it takes forever to get your order. It's way faster at other Michoana's.

I've been to this place about 3 times, however it's been a couple years and as I was in the neighborhood I noticed it was still open so I decided to stop in for some fruit. The menu is posted on the wall and it seems like everything is $5, including a banana split and a huge assortment of ice cream. I ordered a fruit plate. For $5 you get a container of fresh mixed fruit, your choice of sweet cream or yogurt and granola or coconut. The fruit is cut AFTER you order, it is that fresh! It had stawberries, pineapple, bananas, mango, papaya, apples, pears and cantaloupe. I also asked for a mix of all toppings ON THE SIDE because I wanted to control how much yogurt/cream went on my fruit and they had no problem doing that. I got my fruit to go, however there is seating there, but the tables are small and it doesn't really feel like the type of place you hang out at, but that's ok, I was there for take out. I give this place 5 stars for the quality and amount of fruit and toppings given, the service, and the great deal of $5 for all of that. BARGAIN! read more

I want to say the 1 star is for the customer service I got Monday the 17th and for the new people they hired. I come here all the time and always great customer service and everything I get recommended is good. It seems like they are hiring younger and younger girls every time. The girl that helped me today was so rude and spoke English when I answered in English she answered in Spanish, asked me a question in Spanish I responded in Spanish then she answered in English. She made me feel so uncomfortable. But I then witnessed her do it to the next customer she assisted and the customer look around to somewhat validate the awkwardness. I hope they train the girls that work there! read more

Great place to enjoy some fresh fruit, aguas frescas, ice cream or appetizers. This place is always clean and customer service is on point. Good place to come during the summer instead of the flea market with 100 degree weather and prices are reasonable. read more

Terrible slow service!! I literally stood there for 10 minutes waiting to be greater or attended to and nothing.

La Reina Michoacana has amazing paleta Ice cream. I went in for easter to get an assortment of paletas to bring to my family's party and they had so many options to pick from. The girls working there were outgoing and very helpful. They let me sample their incredible agua frescas while I was waiting in line. Everyone at the party loved the flavors. Ice cream and Aguas Frescas are awesome but the nachos Not to good. Order the nachos and chips were stale.
