Loved the set up , it was clean and it has a nice place to sit with plenty of sitting . You do have to park on the road and for some the area may feel a bit sketchy . The service was great . the lady that took the order was kind and patient and your food is brought out to you even though it is a taco truck. My child had simple asada tacos only meat and tortilla which he said were very good . 2 thumbs up. I had a ham torta , and while it wasn't bad it just didn't hit the spot . We've passed by this place a million times and have said 'We need to try that place out' about a half million times. We FINALLY pulled the trigger on Saturday morning and pulled in to try the breakfast burritos. We had a 5 star taco truck experience for food, service AND ambiance! Husband got the chorizo breakfast burrito and I got my breakfast burrito with both bacon and sausage. They asked us if we wanted sour cream and cheese on them and we said yes to both. The tortilla was fresh and (woohoo!) it was grilled! The burrito had great ratios for the fillings that created on point flavor. The woman that took our order was very friendly and the ordering process was seamless. She offered us each a bag of chips and salsa while we waited for our burritos. That was a nice touch. Held our hungry bellies over while we waited. I really liked the salsa. When our food was ready, they walked it out to us in the covered dining area. We ate our burritos there in their outdoor covered dining area and someone's done a really great job with the design of that space. It feels intentional and cozy and is really cute. It was decorated for Fall season. Last couple things I wanted to mention is that the burritos were HUGE. So you definitely get your monies worth. And if you're not someone that's big on meat, since they add both beans and rice to their breakfast burritos and all components were really flavorful, I think this would be make a really delicious vegetarian breakfast burrito as well, particularly if you add that cheese and sour cream. I know everyone has bad days, but this is the 2nd time they've sent me terrible food via DoorDash. The majority of time their food is good, but the last 2 times it's been disgusting!! I should've been more assertive as 45 minutes waiting by the pickup window for my number to be called I approached and provided my receipt to ask how much longer the wait would be, they pushed my food forward, as it had been just sitting there. When they gave us our food we got half what we asked for we asked for menudo and only got meat! Wow we asked for flautas and only got two We asked for asada fries and got only half the order! This is my favorite taco truck in Modesto! Their carne asada burrito supremes are large and packed with high quality meat (not fatty meat) fluffy Spanish rice, flavorful beans and the perfect amount of sour cream and cheese wrapped in a large jumbo flour tortilla that's lightly grilled. Their cucumber water is to die for and the truck in itself is vibrant and clean. You will always be greeted by friendly workers who go out of their way to make you feel at hone, often memorizing your order and even calling you by name. My husband found out about Las Delicias through Google. We are always looking for a good spot to eat street tacos. He saw that they offered a variety of meats. When he was reading others reviews he saw that they offered Tripas (which is my favorite). Our order included 1 Supreme Burrito of Carne Asada, 2 Tacos of Carne Asada (plain), 3 Tacos of Tripas (cilantro and cebolla), and 3 Tacos of Cabeza (cilantro and cebolla). Our drinks were 1 Jarrito, 1 can of Pepsi, 1 Horchata, and lastly 1 can of sprite. Our total came out to a little under 50 bucks. They offer this quaint area for you to sit and enjoy your food. It was really cute nice and clean. This young man came with our drinks and a basket of chips and Chile to start of with. Lots of flavor in the Chile. They also bring your food to where ever you are sitting. To me this service is a plus. The food was served in no time. It was still very hot when it came to our table. The Tripas were fantastic just the way I like them Crunch, yet soft. Great flavor. The Cabeza tacos were also fantastic, moist, soft and made well. It was not overly wet, just a nice fantastic treat. I always order my Chile off to the side. I like to control my Chile amount, and I ordered the Green one which was good not to hot just right. My son let me try some of his Carne Asada pieces well seasoned and good just right. NOT BURNT or HARD. I hate when places overcook the meat. The tortillas was nice and soft. Not dry and not oily. My husband said his Burrito was very good and the beans were smashed, which he loved. I would recommend this place 10/10 just from the order that we placed.
