I'm back to confirm that La Reyna is the best taco truck in my neighborhood. Well, the first thing I wasn't surprised to see was food cost increase. My favorite extreme burrito in $15.50, up a dollar. But when you compare this to two ALA carte for $20, this is still an amazing deal. The service here is still very friendly. I placed my order for the extreme burrito with asada and pastor meats. It's also filled with rice and beans too. It only took a few minutes to make the order. I was still bagging the marinated cucumbers and lime wedges in my bag when the chef called my order ready. He didn't include the grilled onions or jalapenos so I asked for some before I bagged up the three different salsas that they offer. The two burritos were not marked. I grabbed the first one. I cut it half, it was the asada. I plated it with each of the salsas, cucumbers, limes, jalapeno and onions. The red salsa had a smoked spicy flavor, very delicious. The milder salsa verde was over powered by the red. I could taste the flavor on the other half of the burrito. I had a little sip to taste it after I had squeezed it into a little cup container. It was delicious. I will update with the pastor tasting for tomorrow's dinner. read more

We were visiting from out of town and stayed nearby. We visited this truck based on the reviews and it did not disappoint!!!!! I got the tacos supreme with asada and added the complimentary radishes and sauces. I'm going to be dreaming about these until I can come back. The shells are awesome. While I miss the little tables that were out on the sidewalk and inside space where there were tables to sit (now Guerrilla Tacos) I am so grateful that La Reyna Tacos is still alive as a food truck on the same street as before. The name still lives on in providing everything they had before and then some to the list of items off their menu. I was introduced to La Reyna for their mulitas and tacos (mainly mulitas). One introduction and I was literally hooked from there on out. The last time I visited, I ordered 3 multias, 3 tacos and 1 burrito to go ($19). I had forgotten to ask if I could get radishes and grilled onions on the side, but to my surprise, the man had already added those along w/ grilled peppers and cucumber slices! Help yourself to the salsas, napkins, salt, etc while you wait. They have a few chairs for customers to sit on while you're waiting or if you're wanting to eat there. I came here after a shift because all the other places in the area I went to either had too much traffic to maneuver through or did not have great ratings. The line wasn't too long when I pulled up and the prices were very affordable. The tacos here are pretty amazing and you've got to try their avocado sauce! I ordered two Carne Asada Tacos and two Al Pastor Tacos (it was a long day at work, so this visit was the perfect reward). The meat was tender, juicy, and most definitely hit the spot. I had bites with and without the sauce and each venture was different than the last! I'm thinking about trying one of their burritos or quesadillas next time. I've found a consistent greatness across the board when it comes to the variety of items at other trucks and I believe that this place certainly has the potential for that consistency as well. I discovered this spot when, during a moment of weakness, I went to the Taco Bell across the street. Luckily they were closed that day and in that moment of despair, I spotted a random truck out of the corner of my eye. This truck is located walking distance from my house, so it's a normal fall back to dinner plans. I've been here many, many times and the employees know my order before I even speak. They're kind people and I enjoy supporting them. I usually go late and rarely have issues with the service or quality of food. They are normally VERY fast, and to be honest - the earlier the better. The tacos I have had at 6pm beat the 8pm ones, probably due to the meat not being as fresh.
