With about 50-60 seats, the restaurant was only about a third full with most customers seated towards the front entrance. The vibe is bold Mediterranean seaside, with vibrant nautical blue and solid Kelly green accents paired back to white walls, painted floor tiles, and dark wood exposed ceiling beams. Glass vases and other hanging wall decor tie into the same scheme. The inside was bright and clean. I was curious to try their cacio e pepe since I heard this dish originated from around these parts. Their version Spaghetti Cacio e Pepe al Profumo di Limone (spaghetti with cheese, pepper and lemon) €16 was decent, though unfortunately not the traditional recipe I expected to be made without cream/butter. It was a little creamy, not too saucy (as it should be), with fresh pepper and lemon which added a needed brightness. Not bad though a little rich to consume by itself for a meal. The bread that came with meal was a cold, though fresh. Staff was professional and cordial enough though a felt a bit all-business-no-pleasure. Overall dinner prices seemed pretty reasonable compared to other places, with a €3 coperto charge, though interestingly this was the only restaurant where the staff asked if I wanted to tip on top of the bill (I did). Bathrooms in decent shape. Other dishes looked pretty decent, so this would be a maybe return in my book.
