This was our first time here and we were immediately greeted. Our waitress, Nova came to our table shortly after, brought us chips and salsa, and took our drink orders then brought them back and took our meal orders and our food came out very quickly. Our food was delicious and Manuel saw that my water was low and brought me another water without me even having to ask. If you want excellent service and great food, I highly recommend this place! Everyone was so welcoming and kind

Not sure if you can see the hairy chunk in my food, but I was eating tacos and on the third one I noticed it. I'm absolutely disgusted.

Not sure if you can see the hairy chunk in my food, but I was eating tacos and on the third one I noticed it. I'm absolutely disgusted. I just hope there wasn't any of it in the other food I didn't check, because I only saw it by chance before I bit into it. This is absolutely disgusting.

Im not sure who the people are reviewing this place but I think they may be family or work there. Im from Texas. Mex food is a big deal. This place was meh. Had no idea what sour cream sauce is. Ya know, for sour cream enchiladas? We asked the waiter if the kitchen could make it. All he said was no. I ended up ordering beef quesadillas. I was asked, ground beef or steak. Ground beef in a quesadilla? Never heard of that before. See pic for what I ended up with. Looks more like two tacos on their side. Thats not like any quesadilla I have ever had. No sour cream with it. No quacamole. Nada!. Taste was not good as spices were funky. Also ordered a regular margarita. Was basic in cheap bar marg mix. very disapointing. Definitely go to Jose Tequilla on Shore Drive for the best mexican food and margs so far. someone from this place needs to go as well to see what good food, drinks and service is like.

My mom and I decided to try out Margarita's last Saturday, 6/18/22. We're still a little bummed Penang Town is gone, but we also wanted to see what Margarita's could offer. Considering there are a BUNCH of Mexican restaurants in the area, they'll have to offer plenty of good things to stand out. For the most part, Margarita's is a cool spot, but based on one visit I'm not going to say they have anything that other Mexican spots already have. When we arrived, the restaurant was empty. We were greeted immediately by David - he showed us to our table and served us during our visit. He was quiet but kind and was quick to assist us throughout. David was outstanding enough to the point that I'd come back just to be regaled by his kind service and work ethic. Mom and I ordered an appetizer, the queso fundido. It is queso dip mixed with chorizo. It was good and accompanied the complimentary chips and salsa (and white sauce) that was provided us, but the chorizo was a tad saltier than I would've liked. Still, it was tasty and worth a try. For my entree, I ordered the chuletas de Puerco, which is 2 grilled pork chops topped with a green tomatillo sauce. The tomatillo sauce had a nice kick to it and complemented the pork chops well. The dish came with a side of rice and beans, so this was an entree I ended up not finishing (too much food, haha!). I enjoyed this and would order it again. My mom loves fajitas - she seems to only order that when we dine at any Mexican spot. She ordered a combination fajitas (steak, chicken, shrimp), which is always too much food for her. She enjoyed the fajitas and was happy it wasn't too salty. Overall, Margarita's was a fun experience. I likely would recommend them, especially their service, but there are SO MANY Mexican restaurants (and excellent ones, at that). I hope they do well and I'll stop in again soon. Thank you, Maragarita's! JV

As soon as we tasted the food, my husband and I agreed that this is going to be our go to Mexican food spot from now on. The food is so good!!! This is a very laid-back restaurant, and the servers and staff were so sweet. Drinks were delicious as well!

Here's the breakdown of today's line up: Bob's Biscuit and Gravy: First of all, the portions? Massive. The biscuit is incredibly fluffy, and that savory, rich gravy is pure comfort food heaven. It's a classic done flawlessly. Chicken and Waffles: The perfect sweet and savory synergy. The chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and paired with those golden waffles? Unmatched. Traditional Eggs Benedict: A textbook masterpiece. Perfect poached eggs with that gorgeous yolk pop, sitting on a toasted English muffin with a silky, rich hollandaise. 10/10 across the board. The vibes were immaculate, the food is incredible, and the service is always on point. Which one are you diving into first? Let me know!

She offered me some really nice suggestions, offered prompt service, and kept my coffee hot! I tried their breakfast chimichanga which is a very interesting and unique breakfast entrée. And since they offered sausage gravy, I ordered a side biscuit with a small side of sausage gravy, as I enjoy trying this when it's on a menu. The food came out rather quickly and looked amazing! The sausage gravy was very nice, the biscuit was great. The chimichanga was excellent and HUGE!! I liked the crema on top of it, but I really liked their selection of hot sauces, with their house-made "gator sauce" being my favorite. I definitely enjoyed this visit and would definitely return!

There's even some entrepreneurship going on with a gentleman coming over to ask if you want to buy a trinket, instead of flowers I suppose. I couldn't finish the food definitely enough for a dinner and lunch! I asked what they have for dessert: tres leches, tiramisu, flan. I pass on dessert this time although they sound good! I…read moreattempted to visit a few weeks ago for dinner to try their Rotisserie chicken but unfortunately they were sold out so I recently returned again on a Friday during lunch for another attempt. When I entered I was greeted right away and was given a menu and I let them know I would like to place an order to go.  Service was great and the wait staff was very friendly and took my order immediately.  The dining room was very spacious with plenty of tables and they had bar seating available. While I waited for my food I decided to walk over to the bakery that was attached to the restaurant. The bakery sells a bunch of different Colombian/Spanish baked goods, snacks and frozen items. They also had a section setup similar to a gift shop that had purses, hats, clothing and souvenirs that you would mostly find if you were in Columbia which I found to be a nice and unique addition.  I ordered the half rotisserie chicken with coconut rice, fried cassava, and sugar cane juice with lime To-go. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the quality of my meal. My chicken lacked flavor and tasted as though it had been reheated rather than freshly prepared. The wing was so dry and dehydrated that it was inedible; only the leg and thigh were moist. Additionally, the coconut rice was significantly undercooked and excessively sweet, to the point that I could not eat it. The fried cassava was served in very large pieces that remained undercooked. The Sugar cane juice was a dark brown color and had a sour taste, suggesting it was not fresh.  Fresh sugarcane juice should be a greenish- yellow color and only turns brown after it oxidizes which changes the quality and is not what I expected.  I have heard great things about this restaurant and hope my experience is not the norm. While I am interested in other menu items, I am currently hesitant about when I might return.
