But so many things about this place scream "cheap": -The way that the Internet cuts in and out frequently (SO many companies here rely on Wi-Fi to work) -The way some offices are as cold as ice while others near the back wall are sweltering hot in the summer months -The way that the Keurig was out for weeks before being replaced by a cheap coffeepot in the kitchen -The midday hours of the lobby staff, leaving the front desk unattended during lunch and leaving promptly by the early evening. It's hard not to hear the exclamations of frustrated people coming and finding no one to help them. For the amount that rent costs per office, you'd think you could maybe spring for an additional staff member to trade off on early/late shifts. -The negligence of the cleaning staff ... it goes on and on. -Oh, and has anyone ever mentioned how THIN the walls are? There are psychologists who work here and the ease through which people sharing their walls HAS to violate some kind of doctor-patient confidentiality agreement. Don't need to hear the disturbing woes of people when I'M not getting paid 100+/hr for it. Nor do I need to hear the loud phone conversations in neighboring offices. Pros: The lobby chairs are another example of CHEAP, but the co-working area in the center of the building along with the conference rooms have pretty decent furniture.

We tried to go cowork here today, and the day pass rate is $35 per person - steep for Houston for sure. Before agreeing to pay, we asked to see the coworking space, which turned out to be a singular table with four chairs around it. Definitely large enough for four people to cowork, but that's all. Amenities include free drip coffee and a kitchen, but overall not enough to justify the price tag in my opinion. Office space and dedicated desks look like fabulous offerings and we'll consider that in the future if our needs change, but I wouldn't recommend for coworking.

However, a few things they are lacking are keeping the kitchen up to date with basic things every tenet needs. Water filters wasn't working for the longest time and water fountain is still broken. Parking garage signs are fallen or not up and when someone parks where they are "not suppose to" but don't know it since there weren't any signs they get in trouble without being their fault. Fire alarm goes off sometimes at random as well as lights. There has been some instances where internet is slow as well. Might need to pay a little more attention on certain areas but in overall not a bad place !!

I was invited to an event held at Casey's Share Office in Spring Branch. This is really an…read moreeye-opening to see such beautiful and functional facility for young entrepreneurs. You know, I love to share new businesses with my connections on social media. Casey's Share Office offers rental of coworking space for small businesses who want to have a physical address for their everyday activities and the use of shared office equipment. The facility also rents out for events on weekends. Looking at the outdoor deck, I would imagine this could be used as a great wedding reception or use the lounge area for a musical recital. I talked to the owner Casey and his wife Alice during the open house tour. I was told that all paintings and murals were Alice's creation. They are displayed everywhere I turn. Casey said this facility just opened and they were running introductory special. The website has more details. I didn't need to look for it because I don't own a business. But if I did, Casey's Share Office would be the first place to be my office.
