Friday night I stopped in looking for yet another hoody as I headed out of work and out of town with no time to grab a quick extra layer of clothing for my trip. As I entered the store i was immediately impressed by the new simple design. The walls are stark red and contrast with the crisp white floors and furniture. Other than when I first entered and was informed of a 20% storewide sale, the staff only approached me once to let me know they had additional sizes in the back. This was not a desperate sales attack since I was trying on several of the Ed Hardy, Smet, and Crystal Rock hoodies. All run between $75-$300 and they have both men's and women's styles. Everything in the store is designer and sells at designer prices..hence the addition of Couture to the name. I like that they only sell a few labels but offer a large selection without a 'macy's' type filter. They even have some limited edition pieces.The collections and designs of the store make a strong statement. This place is passionate about bringing big labels and the latest fashions to Columbus and they deliver. I just wish I could afford it.
