I found her reaction dismissive and extremely rude. If my request was unacceptable, they could have told me when I called and saved me an hour of driving. Given the concerns surrounding non-FDA-approved peptides, I believe politely requesting to see the product (label) of what I am purchasing is reasonable. The doctor's reaction only made me more concerned about the source of what they are selling. It is totally fine that the dr wants to hide what they are selling. What makes me upset is wasting an hour driving in for this unpleasant experience.

I've gone to this place 2x times now. And each time, it would end up being a waste of money. I thought I would give them another try but, this is all I can say, if the thing you had done did not come out the way it supposed to be the first time then don't even bother going back to giving them another try. My rating goes as follow: location/parking, facility, product, service, and quality for the price. With that said I give them 1 star. Location was right on/off El Camino Real which parking was limited due to other business next/near them who also can use those parking slot. It's basically first come first serve. Then there's the facility, it' neat in regards to things being placed in order but the sofa and loveseat was dirty. You can pretty much see it...the dirt and some brown spot on this lime green leather or vinyl sofa and loveseat. As far as how clean there sheets are in the room, I can't really comment on that sense it's hard to see in the slight dim room. Product on the other hand, has always failed in every way. Either it's an expired product or very low grade. My lash did not get curled when I had it done. Now I can tell you when I had it done at this Japanese salon, it always turned out very well. So no one can say that it because of certain reason regarding there lash because that it not so. Then I also had the lash extension done. That too did not turn out well. It only lasted a day and a half. I did not wash my lash or even soap it at all. But it was like the next day when I woke up it was just falling off. I would see a clump on my cheek then on the tip of my lash and some on the top of my nose bridge. It would just continue throughout the day just falling. Never touched it, never put any mascara, kept it dry, never wash it. Now that was just too much for me to try to save this so-called lash extension because of the amount of money I paid for it. As far as there service, the staff was so rood s but and i wait so long even it's not even busy. I did not even see any other client. So service for me just did not cut-it for having to wait. Price, again, was not worth it. If you want to charge clients the price you have for any of the services, then I expect a good quality for the product that they are selling. I would not recommend this to anyone, especially for the service and price they are charging It is a rip-off. read more

I am a night worker and my face is somewhat dark, dry and has quite a few visible wrinkles. I heard about La Sini skin care from a friend of mine. First I went there for a $38 trial, and it was worth of every penny, the environment was so relaxing and clean, the service and the treatment was one of the best I have ever had. I then signed up with Sue for a six times of Botinol treatments. I have three treatments already and my coworkers all told me that my face now looks amazing different, the face looks more shinny, less dried, and visible wrinkles are no longer that visible. Now when I look my face from the mirror, I see a much better face and I am happy with the progress. I recommend La Sini to people who seek a better skincare salon to improve your skin. You will be amazed the quality of the service you will receive and how reasonable are their charges. It's been almost 2 yrs now I am with La Sini. Needless to say how great the services are, improvement on my skin is beyond description. I travel a lot and work under stress, my skin reflects them all. Every visit to La Sini reclaim my best appearance right there. This is more like a spa then a beauty salon to me. Believe it, quiet environment, relaxing treatment, quality products, affordable pricing. Sue is more like a friend to me than just the skin care professional. One thing about Sue I am impress with, is that she is so generous with her clients. Whenever she finds a new products or treatments, she will let me try it without pressing me to buy. The staffs specially Eva could not be more professional in it's duties. Sue, the owner of this salon is very kind, understanding and helpful. She evaluated my skin condition and gave me helpful tips regarding it's maintenance. The products used on the clients are the best on the market and reasonably priced. The atmosphere in the salon is serene and conducive to a pleasant and relaxing situation with it's soft background music. It has everyone coming back for more treatments at Sue's gentle hands. I went to La Sini a week ago on my way down to the South Bay and used their trial facial treatment $38 coupon. What a gem I've found in Milbrae! The service was professional, friendly, and gentle. I spend about $150 a month on skin care products and after I had a deep facial at La Sini I can see and feel my products working 10 times better. No joke! My job entails me to work in the sun and Sue was so helpful is creating a program for me to keep my skin healthy and clean. The regular price of a full facial treatment is $80 for an 80 minute pampering treatment! A very reasonable price and I will definitely be coming back here regularly on my way back and to the South Bay. read more

The true highlight, however, was Kayla. You can immediately tell when someone has mastered their craft, and Kayla embodies that. Every movement felt intentional and refined, from the way she cleansed and applied each product to the facial massage techniques she incorporated throughout the treatment. Rather than feeling like someone simply following a routine, it felt like receiving a personalized treatment from an esthetician who genuinely cares about both the experience and the results. Ninety minutes flew by. Comfort is something that's easy to overlook until it isn't, and Kavini absolutely nailed it. The treatment bed was unbelievably soft and plush, allowing me to relax from beginning to end without ever needing to readjust. Even more impressive, my wife, who is currently in her third trimester of pregnancy, remained comfortable throughout her entire facial as well. Just when I thought the experience couldn't get any better, Kayla finished with a neck and shoulder massage that was exceptional. The pressure was perfectly balanced, her technique was outstanding, and it was the ideal way to end an already relaxing treatment. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the spa, including the beautifully maintained facilities and the all inclusive, gender neutral restrooms that make everyone feel welcome. My appointment started at 3:00 PM, but the facial was finished around 3:50 PM. I asked my esthetician, Serena, why the service ended so early because I was expecting the full 90-minute experience. I was told that the service is based on what your skin needs rather than the scheduled time, and that I did not require many extractions. While I understand that every facial should be customized to the client's skin and that I did receive the LED light treatment, I was disappointed that the service ended after about 50 minutes when I had booked and paid for a facial advertised as 1 hour and 30 minutes. I did not receive a mask, and the facial massage felt extremely minimal. In my experience at other spas, when extractions or corrective treatments are not needed, the esthetician typically uses that time for a longer facial massage, additional mask time, scalp massage, hand and arm massage, neck and shoulder massage, or other relaxing treatments so that the appointment still feels complete and the client leaves feeling cared for and pampered. Instead, I left feeling as though I received less because I take good care of my skin. What was most frustrating was paying the full $140 price, plus a 15% tip, while receiving a significantly shortened service. Had I known that the appointment could be reduced by nearly 40 minutes depending on my skin condition, I would have appreciated that being clearly communicated before booking. Advice: If you have acne, congestion, or significant extraction needs, this service may be a good value for you. However, if you maintain your skin regularly and are looking for a relaxing 90-minute facial, self-care experience, or glow-up refresh, I would strongly recommend asking exactly what is included and how long your treatment is likely to last before booking or just go somewhere else. I left feeling disappointed, misled by the advertised appointment length, and feeling that I did not receive the full experience that was represented for the price.
