I would NOT recommend this business! The lady that is at the front is incredibly RUDE!! In 3 diff occasions I heard her being rude to others or experienced it myself. I just went in to ask a question and she cut me off and said they were too busy to answer questions. That was simply the last straw for me! read more

I am not sure how this place stats in business because I highly doubt they have many returning customers. My wife and I took three pairs of slacks for simple alterations and will never return. The lady up front is not friendly at all and did not act professionally. She marked length with one straight pin (no tailor's chalk) and was very quick to finish. Not one of the three pairs was done correctly. The length of one pair was not changed at all (wife's pair purchased with 28" inseam was STILL 28" after the supposed alterations). My wife was so turned off by the lady's demeanor that she would not go back thinking there would be even worse treatment. We went somewhere else where everything was handled professionally and at a lower price. read more

I arrived at this so called business at 6:10, and a petite Asian lady comes out with a poor excuse for a greeting, looking at me as if I'm about to rob the place, I tell her I need to get some alterations and she says we closed. I say closed? But the door is opened and online it says you close at 6:30. Again she says were closed! I say ok, I can leave my items and I'll pick them up tomorrow. No, you come back tomorrow, we closed! I won't be returning to this establishment...such rude service or lack there of. read more

I downloaded yelp just to write a review about this place. It is extremely overpriced. I brought 7 items (6 of them were simple alterations) and it was close to $200. This is a ridiculous price, considering I could've gone somewhere else and it probably would've been half the price. Will definitely not be returning. I have been here several times, and the quality of work is just average (what I would consider 3 stars). The reason for the 1 rating is due to my clothes not being ready when promised more than half of the times I've dropped clothes off for alterations. They don't even apologize for the inconvenience. On one occasion, I picked up my pants only to get home to find out they didn't hem the pants as requested, which resulted in a trip back. If you are going to go to this tailor, keep in mind they are not reliable. If you need your clothes back by a certain date (where you have a hard deadline such as leaving for vacation), you will need to provide them a due date in advance of your deadline or you will risk not having your clothes in time. And double check to ensure the work is done before you leave. There are not many options for alterations conveniently located, but I am looking for a new tailor now. read more

I have never met such an unprofessional and greedy business. We have been customers for more than 15 years (from her other location too). My mom took her beaded dress for her son's wedding to get altered and one lady charged a certain amount and gave her a date for pickup. When she went back to pick the dress up, the owner had not even started and wasn't satisfied with the price the other lady quoted my mom. She even tried over charging for two bridesmaid dresses the day before so she can make up for the small amount accidentally quoted to my mom. The way the situation was handled was unprofessional and I felt that they were taking advantage of my mom and the whole situation that was there fault to begin with. My mom wasn't even done talking and they were removing the pins from the bridesmaids dresses we took in the day before. They had no empathy towards the situation and handled it very poorly. I'm super disappointed and do not recommend this business to anyone wanting to get anything altered there. Now, we are left scrambling to find a alteration place with the wedding right the around the corner. Customer service is horrible. DO NOT RECOMMEND. read more

I had a really bad experience with LA Tailors in Missouri City. My wedding dress was altered with a horrible result, it was not what I asked the tailor to do - to size the bigger dress to fit me. One of the receptionists (Kim) was extremely rude; my money was not fully returned - half only. Would not recommend this business to anybody. I had to take the dress to another alteration. read more

Worst customer service ever. Came in and no was at the counter. Rang the charm on the door, heard people talking no one acknowledge me. Heard phone ring, someone picked it up and started talking. Peak around the corner and saw me, still had me just waiting while taking what seemed to be a personal playful phone call. Started to come out but I left. Third time I've experienced the poor service. Also over priced and take to long to return dry cleaning. Go to somewhere else. There are a few others close by. read more
