Let me tell you something... You aren't finding a cleaners and alterations spot BETTER THAN THIS ONE! When I tell you they worked miracles on my suits, JESUS! I brought in 3 suits that were brand new. They were nice, but fit too tight in some areas and were too loose in others. I tried on the suits and they were QUICK to assess where it needed to be altered. I also was a horrible customer and gave them a tight timeline just before the holidays but they still delivered. I got my suits just in time for a wedding. I've never been good at tying ties but they were gracious enough to tie my ties AND brought my clothes out to my car for me. The customer service here is outstanding. They text you when your clothes are done and they make sure you know how much money to bring. Speaking of money, please note that they are CASH only. This is hands down the best cleaners/alterations spot I've ever been to. I need to run through my closet to see what else they can revive. 5 STARS!!!! read more

I Googled a few locations and this place had the best reviews and price. I took my dress to get hemmed for my daughter's quinceañera. My dress actually had layers and they only charged me for the one item, other locations were charging per layer. I also got my dress back in a week. Rating: 8.9 This isn't a high end place that caters to the boujee types. This is a low key, family owned place that does quality work at a fair price. For nearly a decade, I've had every one of my suits, jeans, and other clothing items altered here. They have always done a great job, and on the rare occasion that something wasn't exactly right, they were able to rectify the mistake in a timely manner (at no cost). For alterations, they have you measured while facing a mirrored platform that will allow you to specify how you would like things to be completed. When getting measured, be sure to know exactly how you want your clothes to fit. As personal styles are subjective, you want to be sure that they understand the cut, length, style that you're looking to achieve so that you avoid any unwanted outcomes. Other than that, know that you're in good hands! Pro tip: When altering new pairs of jeans, be aware that the denim has a tendency to shrink a bit (sometimes slightly in length). I took my wedding dress to this lady on December 3rd 2021. I wanted a jacket piece to be sewed inside and I put on the gown at her store she pinned it up exactly how I wanted and told me she could do the job. She told me to come back Jan 6th for my first fitting. Fast forward one month Jan 5th 2022 she texts me asking to FaceTime me because she is confused about what I wanted done to it. I FaceTime her and she hadn't even STARTED on the dress. She stated that the jacket piece would look weird sewn inside. She wanted me to agree to sewing the jacket piece on the outside of my wedding gown. As the bride I asked her these questions... 1. so you haven't even started on my dress alterations and I am supposed to come tomorrow for my fitting? 2. Howare you confused when you pinned it up one month ago and AGREED do sewing the jacket piece inside how I wanted it? She continued to say that the jacket piece looks weird sewn inside and she then stated that she will not do my alterations if I don't agree to do it her way. She stated that she will return it to me if I wanted it sewn inside. FIRST OF ALL why the heck would you hold my dress wit you for ONE MONTH to then say that you will not do it the way I want, after AGREEING to do it the way I want once month ago? So she held my dress from me for a month, didn't do alterations, and then refused to do it how I want a day before my first fitting was secluded for. What kind of business is this? I then texted her the next day (the day my fitting was supposed to be) and asked her to please cooperate and asked her why would you say you can do it and then turn 360 and say you cant do it ONE MONTH LATER? I hope this business gets the karma they deserve. Because not only is their customer service AWFUL but she states she's been doing this for 40 years? Yeah clearly not. Adding added stress to an already stressful bride and wedding alterations isn't nice and I rate this BUISNESS A ZERO if I could. Don't waste your time even going here! AWFUL! read more

She does a great job of hemming. I brought in a bridesmaid dress to get it fitted, and I couldn't see where she sewed in at the shoulders. It was almost $20 for it. I went in a second time for my work pants to be shortened and hemmed, and she did a fabulous job on it too! Cost me $8. It might be a little bit more compared to other places, but I don't want to take the risk of adding damage to me clothes when I know she already does a great job. They did a great job fixing the hem of my blazer! The price was reasonable and we definitely will be returning with other items. It was a cheap blazer and thought they might say no as a result. They did a great job and are located right next door to a terrific dry cleaning place, My Favorite Cleaners. They literally are My Favorite Cleaners! The two places located right next door to each other is very convenient and cannot say enough good things about both places. FYI: Trans Tailors only takes cash, but they warn you when you drop off your items, so you can be prepared with cash when you return for your things. read more
