    Never knew tamales are hard

This location is terrible. As soon I walk in a loud man greeted me and literally started yelling "what can I get you! I can make you a sandwich it's very good! Get this! Get that!" Once I was finally able to figure out what I wanted to eat and tell him he would put a twist to it for an up charge. He is very aggressive and comes off as a car salesman... he is a crook. I got the receipt and the man charged me $52 for four tacos , chicken tamale and cheese fries. Never going here again Tamale is extremely dry to the point it's hard. Could barely stab it with a fork.

Solid burritos, food is always fresh, and plenty of fresh juices to pick from. Highly recommend the churros and the horchata.

A hidden gem for those looking for good tacos and burritos in the area. Great service, and a very friendly staff.

Chorizo is red. Maybe they won't notice.

This place was awesome until today, I order $80 worth of food for the family. No one enjoyed it. Tortas had only chicken and cheese, nothing else. My chorizo bowls were served with pork sausage instead of chorizo, nice try, La taqueria. Will not be back, ever. Nor will I recommend anymore. Adios

Al Pastor and Carne Asada on soft corn tortillas for lunch today. Very delicious. Will return over and over in the future.

It is so delish! The best Mexican food I can get on Long Island. It's also not too expensive and so much food. Their burritos r so perfect.

Great spot, always super quick, with generous portions and high quality. Tostadas are huge, tons of meat inside.

Best Mexican food in Syosset. Myself and wife love this place and have tried a lot of items on the menu. The wet burritos are Insane!

Poor service. Rude staff. Chicken was dry. Corn tortilla was stale or overcooked. Inauthentic. Do not recommend.

I remeber the food was delicious and my memory was correct. We started with the guacamole, which was very fresh and tasty. We all ordered tacos and they were really delicious. Lack of photos as my daughter was running around the restaurant. I had the shrimp taco, chicken taco, and brisket. Was so good. My parents also enjoyed their tacos. The service was great. We were seated pretty quickly. The restaurant is really nice. It's large and has a big bar as well. Will be back again to bring my husband.

What really bothered me was the pricing practice. Every item on the menu appears to have a 3% increase built into the price, with only a small note saying there's a "cash discount." In reality, it feels like a hidden credit card surcharge that's baked into the menu price unless you pay cash. That kind of pricing feels misleading since you're given the check with the assumption your payment is a credit card. Overall, decent food, but between the high prices, extra charges for basic sides, and the built-in 3% fee, it didn't feel like a good value.

As an appetizer to share, we really like the totchos or the Asian nachos. The various items listed reflect cuisines from many different ethnicities presented in thoughtful combinations. This last trip, I even tried one of the poke bowls and even that was well thought out and had good flavor. My only real criticism is that too many of their items are quite spicy which limits choices a bit for my palate, but where they can dial down the spice or put something on the side (or leave it off) they have always been accommodating. Service is quick. Decor is lively and fun. Do not expect to have a quiet meal hear as the ambiance is rather festive. Managers and staff are helpful and friendly. Drinks are also very good, and they even accommodate my no alcohol mojito requests.

My friend and her boyfriend have visited multiple locations and recommended visiting Dirty Taco and Tequila - Woodbury for our double date so we came on a Tuesday night at 6:30pm. Dirty Taco and Tequila is located in Woodbury Common Shopping Center. There are plenty of other businesses and parking spaces. Many tables at Dirty Taco and Tequila were occupied and it was pretty busy when we came in, but we were seated after waiting just a little while. Dirty Taco and Tequila only takes reservations for large groups. Dan Z was our server and he was amazing. He was very attentive, happy, and friendly. He asked if it was our first time at Dirty Taco and Tequila and gave us a brief introduction to the menu and his recommendations. I had the Asian Pear cocktail and it was very yummy. The Asian Pear cocktail has Grey Goose vodka, pear nectar, st. germaine, lime juice, and agave. My friends had pineapple margarita, coconut margarita, and strawberry kiwi margarita. For margaritas, you can add salt or sugar on the rim. We ordered Guac & Chips for the table. The guacamole, tomatoes, cilantro, lime, and red onion were very good and great to share. I ordered the Bulgogi Taco and the Bang Bang Shrimp Taco. My favorite was the Bang Bang Shrimp Taco. It had pan fried shrimp, cabbage slaw, tossed in bang bang sauce, sriracha drizzle served on flour tortilla. This taco was packed with flavor and really good. The bulgogi taco didn't have bulgogi, they were steak strips. My husband had the Pork Belly Taco and Korean Short Rib Taco. He really enjoyed it. Our group of 4 stayed for about 2 hours at Dirty Taco and Tequila. They didn't rush us out at all. It's really chill and relaxing atmosphere. I also really like the decor. There is a cash discount if you pay with cash compared to credit card. Definitely looking forward to coming back to Dirty Taco and Tequila!

I came here on a weekday night with a friend and sat at the bar for happy hour. Happy hour is Mon-Fri 4-7pm. Highly recommend the passionfruit margarita! We also ordered: - deep fried carnitas bites (which was a bit dry, would've loved if it had a sauce!) from the happy hour menu - Shrimp birria tacos (not bad! I went with the enchiladas, while others tried the tacos, which came three to an order. They were fresh, good-sized, and nicely done. The menu has some really creative dishes, but for a first visit, I like to stick with the basics to get a feel for the place. The chips and guacamole were great -- the guac was made fresh tableside and the chips were perfectly crisp. There's also a full bar and lots of parking since it's in a shopping center. Service was excellent and the restaurant was fairly busy for a Sunday evening. I'll definitely be back to try some of their more creative options next time.

We ordered a big haul including the Southwest steak burrito, Cheese-Crusted Quesadilla with grilled adobo chicken, and Street Style Chicken Tacos. All 3 were very tasty The southwest steak burrito was very well balanced and filling and the grilled steak was flavorful and tender, paired nicely with the cilantro lime rice, black beans, chile crema (medium heat hit the spot), chile corn salsa, and those crispy tortilla strips for extra crunch. The quesadilla had great taste and texture. the adobo chicken had nice seasoning, pico de gallo and cilantro kept it fresh, and the cheese crust was crispy and gooey in all the right ways. Street style chicken tacos were delightful. soft corn tortillas held up great, grilled chicken was juicy, and the salsa verde, fresh guac, pickled red onions, and cotija gave it that authentic street taco vibe without being overwhelming. I love Guac so I ordered an extra scoop on the side. Highly recommend it. These things all taste great with it. Dip it right in and enjoy your meal.
