First time here and I had a lovely meal! Would come back if I am in the area again. Solid pizza and prices.

Well .. I never ate here but I still want to give them five stars because somehow in California I ended up with a frisbee from them and it's my dogs favorite. He's a good judge of character so I'm guessing the pizza is legit .. next time I'm that way I'm gonna try for myself ! read more

Once again ordered, some pizzas for my Super Bowl party, place the order on Thursday, for 7 o'clock delivery on Sunday, and you can set your clock to it, arrived right on time, hot, exactly the way I ordered it, that's why say, MARIO'S IS THE BEST PIZZA. An absolute classic restaurant that satisfy all cravings when you want Italian food. The cheese pizzas were delicious with the crust being crunchy and on top of that with ample sauce and cheese. The rigatoni alla vodka was very tasty and I loved how they gave lots of sauce, so that we could dip our garlic knots in it. The service was great where they delivered us our food to our table and the wait was not very long. One of the workers also helped me pack my leftovers to go and cleaned our spot right after we left. Ambiance was great for a Sunday night with lots of customers ready to indulge in some pizzas and pastas. Loved to see it and will definitely be back for more. I've had their chicken and pasta dishes many times and they were very good. I recently tried their pizza and the cheese pizza needed to be cooked a little more but the buffalo chicken pie was cooked perfectly. read more

Really, really good pizza. First timer here who had heard so much about Mario's and the Greek family that owns it. Well I was the recipient of tremendous Greek and International love, hospitality and lovely food in a warm and family atmosphere at Mario's Pizzeria on Jericho Tpke in Syosset. This is a warm, inviting and immaculate restaurant in a small busy shopping center smack in between the Syosset Hospital and S Oyster Bay Rd. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, a video ten thousand. Please check out the four videos of the gorgeous food plus a couple of photos of the extensive menu. The staff is absolutely stellar - the young ladies at the counter, the kitchen staff in the back and the lovely folks who are constantly clearing and cleaning the tables up front. Smiles galore and just warmth and how I can be of service oozing from all. Mario's features some great appetizers, healthy wraps, salads, hero sandwiches, pizzas, pasta dishes, calzones and some pretty awesome desserts. ( chocolate mousse cheesecake and the cannoli were stellar). They do a lot of catering and the takeout is non stop. I enjoyed sitting inside and dining and can't wait to come back. Since I left NY for SF, good pizza and Italian American food is probably what I crave most. And within that genre, eggplant parm hero is the item I enjoy the most. A good eggplant parm hero is hard to find, even amongst the thousands of pizzerias in NY. The best eggplant hero has multiple layers of fried eggplant. In between each layer should be a thin layer of marinara sauce. Top with cheese and stuffed in a good hero bread and then broiled to gooey perfection. It's hard to eat this without burning your mouth because you just can't stop after each bite. The eggplant parm hero at Marios is pretty good, but needs more sauce. They give you 4 layers of eggplant, which is awesome. And there is an ample amount of cheese. If there was more sauce, it would be the holy grail. read more

Marios has the freshest pizza even after 9pm. Everything is fresh, the store os clean and the pizzas keep getting better snd better. They are so cool staying open an extra ten minutes and just made two special slices fresh. They are always generous and friendly. read more

Salad with balsamic vinaigrette for healthy dressing...then adding calories with garlic bread, a whole pie with pepperoni, sausage, peppers and onions (yum), and linguine with clams in white wine sauce. As stated, I'm a self proclaimed pizza snob...that being said, as always, I ordered a plain slice and a specialty slice. The plain slice was fine...but just fine. The cheese was melty and the sauce was passable. The specialty slice was basically a "meat lovers" slice. Ample toppings were a nice plus but, as with the plain slice, the sauce was just passable...not great and not bad. All in all, if in the area, it's ok. Just average. read more

THE BEST personal cauliflower crust pizza. Obsessed with the chicken Marsala one. Loaded with chicken and mushrooms. Crispy crust and so tasty! No skimping on toppings here! I work in the area. I've ordered the same from a local place by my house and so disappointed! Not even close to what Mario's of Syosset gives. The chicken francaise one is good too! This is my daughter's favorite pizza place so I've had the opportunity to try a good variety of their slice selection. All are solid and fresh, but their Grandma slice is my favorite. Just the right amount of basil and tasty sauce, and most importantly the crust is not a greasy mess like I have experienced with other place's Grandma pies. I do not think I have tried any entrees other than baked ziti, so consider this a review for pizza only. Have been to mario's Pizzeria several times over the last few months. I have found that the service is always excellent and fast. Pizza has always been good, have had the regular, Sicilian & the grandma styles in the past. One of the nice things about Mario's is if you are staying you pay then sit down and they bring the food too you. That is a very nice service. There dining area is on the large side so generally there is no problem finding a seat. Last night i was in the mood for something other than pizza so i had a Chicken ptarmigan hero to go. Did not call ahead , but only had to wait about 10 minutes , Which is really good. The hero was good, had plenty of cheese and sauce just how i like it. Would recommend Mario's for regular food or pizza. One draw back is that Mario's is in a strip of stores that has very little parking. So far parking has not been a problem for me. read more

I drive by Mario's all the time and never get the chance to eat there. Today was different. We were looking for a lunch/ early dinner, were in the area, so finally gave Mario's a try. We enjoyed a really nice lunch with great service. The spaghetti with meatballs were very good as was the linguini with sausage and peppers. Lunch portions were very ample. The garlic bread and fresh bake Italian bread was also very good. And on this cold day? The after dinner coffee was perfect. One suggestion to management. Please turn up the heat. It was freezing in there! We will be back for dinner. There are many menu items I would like to try. Especially the Branzino and also the Sole Oreganatp.
