It was so so fresh and delicious. They were so kind and friendly to my son, and that means so much to us. We started with chips and queso and a side of guacamole. My friend and her boyfriend have visited multiple locations and recommended visiting Dirty Taco and Tequila - Woodbury for our double date so we came on a Tuesday night at 6:30pm. Dirty Taco and Tequila is located in Woodbury Common Shopping Center. There are plenty of other businesses and parking spaces. Many tables at Dirty Taco and Tequila were occupied and it was pretty busy when we came in, but we were seated after waiting just a little while. Dirty Taco and Tequila only takes reservations for large groups. Dan Z was our server and he was amazing. He was very attentive, happy, and friendly. He asked if it was our first time at Dirty Taco and Tequila and gave us a brief introduction to the menu and his recommendations. I had the Asian Pear cocktail and it was very yummy. The Asian Pear cocktail has Grey Goose vodka, pear nectar, st. germaine, lime juice, and agave. My friends had pineapple margarita, coconut margarita, and strawberry kiwi margarita. For margaritas, you can add salt or sugar on the rim. We ordered Guac & Chips for the table. The guacamole, tomatoes, cilantro, lime, and red onion were very good and great to share. I ordered the Bulgogi Taco and the Bang Bang Shrimp Taco. My favorite was the Bang Bang Shrimp Taco. It had pan fried shrimp, cabbage slaw, tossed in bang bang sauce, sriracha drizzle served on flour tortilla. This taco was packed with flavor and really good. The bulgogi taco didn't have bulgogi, they were steak strips. My husband had the Pork Belly Taco and Korean Short Rib Taco. He really enjoyed it. I came here with my wife for a date night and I really loved and enjoyed this location. I usually go to the Patchogue location or smith town location, but since we live in Deer Park this location is closer. Located in Woodbury the parking lot is huge and easily accessible. Me and my wife played the bar and the bartender was great. Margarita herd are very good and the bartender was very attentive and on top of getting to everyone in a timely matter. We just did drinks and got some wings for an appetizer and the wings were out of this world. We got some teriyaki wings and the crispiness with the flavor of the sauce on the wings 10/10! Me & the wife were blown away with the wings and could have easily gotten another order. They always are adding something new and fun to their menu. We have been here many times and tried a good variety of items that they offer. As an appetizer to share, we really like the totchos or the Asian nachos. The various items listed reflect cuisines from many different ethnicities presented in thoughtful combinations. This last trip, I even tried one of the poke bowls and even that was well thought out and had good flavor. My only real criticism is that too many of their items are quite spicy which limits choices a bit for my palate, but where they can dial down the spice or put something on the side (or leave it off) they have always been accommodating. Service is quick. Decor is lively and fun. Do not expect to have a quiet meal hear as the ambiance is rather festive. Managers and staff are helpful and friendly. What a good dining experience we had at Dirty Taco. We were a party of three, we started with a steak quesadilla , chips with queso and Korean bbq wings. After eating the appetizers we had two southern fried chicken tacos and Duck Bao Buns. Unfortunately, we weren't able to finish the rest of our food and took it to go. My suggestion is to try the crispy Korean BBQ Wings, the sauce is thick and the chicken is well done the sprinkle of sesame seed was good for presentation. While in LI to view a venue for an upcoming party I Went here next door with my son and my mom. Food was good. Staff was great until my 3 yr old who is currently potty training had an accident. I used napkins and started cleaning it with my foot then called over a server who was cleaning tables to discreetly inform him that my child had an accident and he thought it was water so I said no it's pee. Before I could finish, he loudly repeated/ exclaimed "that's pee!" and made a disgusted face and walked away. Called the waiter over who served us to inform him, he was equally disgusting and said "yeah im not touching that!" And walked away. My mom came back and asked me if they helped and I told her no, she picked up the tissue I used to wipe the floor and threw them away. At this point, we were just about done. I asked for the check and to go plates then we left. This was my husband and my first time trying this taco spot, and it was better than I expected. We ordered tacos to go and each one warmed up well upon getting home. We tried the Bang Bang Shrimp, Classic Baja, Korean Short Rib, Jerk Chicken, and the Vietnamese Shrimp Taco. Everything was very good, as we tried each other's tacos. I will admit that the Jerk Chicken was very spicy and the Tres Leches, were a bit too sweet for us. Other than that, the other items were well-balanced. My husband and I are simply addicted to dirty taco. This location provides easy parking, but the downside is theyre always slammed! Even if you order pick up, you need to be plan 45 minutes ahead. If they tell you 30, it's 45. No joke. Ive had approximately half the menu and everything is fantastic. I highly recommend the birria taco and loaded tatchos. This location is a little hard to find if you haven't been here but once you do, there's plenty of parking or Bartender was very friendly and the drinks were great especially the watermelon. Margarita, but they give you a house tequila which I opted out for patron Silver, as far as the food goes. Everything came out almost too quickly. The Shishido peppers were limp and over seasoned the duck buns were generously filled, but super salty, and the bun itself was a bit floppy and was starting to tear without me even touching it, and the Cuban taco was a bit underwhelming. I love dirty taco and have been to other locations , but this week it was my first time at the Woodbury one. For a weekday it was packed, but the minute we walked in we were attended to. We got offered to eat in a heated tent outside if we did not want to wait, and I am glad we did! The tent was warm, decorated, and the music was still playing. Having heard great things about Dirty Taco, my girlfriend and I wanted to try them out while we were in the area. The inside of this location is colorful and fun (be sure to check out the framed art on the walls). From what I could see, each of the tables have different hot sauces on them. Service was quick and our waiter had a genuine energy to him. As a personal rule of thumb, whenever a restaurant has a namesake item, it's a must for me to order this. Wanting to try something else, I spied the Bang Bang Shrimp taco and knew I had to try this, having loved iterations of this item at other restaurants in the past. The Dirty Taco: ground beef, cheddar blend, deep fried and stuffed with lettuce, pico, cotija cheese, sour cream and salsa. This was a good standard taco with a slight twist, having been deep fried. Bang Bang Shrimp: pan fried shrimp, cabbage slaw, tossed in bang bang sauce, sriracha drizzle. Silly complaint for an item called 'Bang Bang Shrimp' which is advertised as having bang bang sauce and sriracha drizzle, but this iteration was too spicy for myself and my girlfriend (who is a spice lover). I'd skip this in the future. These tacos were a bit steep at $6+ each, but with such a large variety of offerings I plan to visit their locations again to explore more of their menu. read more

My daughter scarfed down her cheese quesadilla with a side of guac almost before I had begun eating my usual that I order at all of the locations - Vietnamese shrimp, grilled to order (menu order is fried) and Birria tacos with rice and beans and street corn off the cob. Between the sweetness and crunchiness of the shrimp and peanut combo and the perfect tangy flavor of the Birria broth with tender brisket, my tastebuds were totally satisfied. We've ordered takeout from here twice, although have never eaten here in the restaurant. So, I can only comment on the food alone. Perhaps it's. Better experience eating here. What bothered me the most was that the guacamole was totally brown in many spots by the time it got to us, although in a sealed container. It tasted fine, but looked awful. I've literally never seen guacamole look this bad, and we were surprised they would serve or sell it looking like this. It looked as if they had packed it days ago. We ordered a variety of tacos, quesadilla, and some sides. Nothing stood out to me as particularly memorable, but my favorite taco was probably just the classic Baja fish taco. Some other tacos we ordered had "Asian fusion" flavors and ingredients which I felt were just okay. I've always loved my Asian foods and flavors, but none of these flavors landed well for me in these tacos. Met my friend for lunch here when they opened. Staff was friendly and prompt. We started with the duck bao bun special which was good, a lot of duck. We also had the guacamole which I enjoyed. I really like their chips-- not super thick, oil is clean and salty. Yum. For tacos I had the Jamaican jerk chicken taco- it was good but it's super super spicy. I also had the Vietnamese shrimp taco- definitive pass for me, but it's my friends favorite and is also the waiters- so I'm the odd one out. The Korean short rib taco was tasty, it was also medium spice and fairly sweet. My friend had the chimichurri taco and loved it. For dessert we had to get churros- don't skip the churros! I think I truly misjudged Dirty Taco in my past. I thought it was overhyped, but I'm proud to report it is not. The food is truly delicious, and there is a large variety for vegans and vegetarians. My favorite of the tacos was the fish; as a Korean I do not recommend anything with the korean short ribs as they were marinated a little on the sweeter side; and I have to say rather than short ribs, Korean galbi or beef is a better choice for tacos (which is not offered here).
