I've never had an issue ordering, nor with the quality of the food. However, this thing they're doing with the smoothie cups is shady. We came when it wasn't busy so we didn't run into the wait problem that a lot of other reviewers seem to have experienced. In fact, we came and we were the only ones in the store. Immediately when I walked in I was hit with the pungent smell of artificial cleaner. It was like they had just sprayed every surface with an entire can of lysol and it triggered a minor headache for me. I hope it doesn't always smell like that. I ordered a smoothie (can't remember the name) that had pomegranate, cranberry, and some others. It was super red/purple. I was hoping it would be refreshing and light but it tasted like sugar syrup and was way too sweet. I also found out after that for the pomegranate and cranberry smoothies they use a concentrate (rather than the real fruit) so that was disappointing. read more

The smoothie was okay, but considering it was a peanut butter cup I expected it to taste like PB and chocolate. Instead it mostly tasted like banana with light PB and a hint of chocolate. The quesadilla was the same quality I could make myself at home with cheap ingredients, but where this place really falls apart for me is the employees. The guy making our food finished wrapping the wrap, pulled my quesadilla off the grill and left it sitting on the counter, and then just walked off. He was gone for about 2 minutes before the other employee noticed the food, went to the back, came back and finished it. And literally all that was left to do was put the quesadilla in a box, cut it, bag it and the wrap, and hand it to us. What was so important you left my food out to cool down and couldn't ask the other employee to bag it? Speaking of the other employee, she was at least quick about stuff but she went from the register to the smoothies, and packed our food all without ever changing her gloves. I ordered 10 kale apple slaws , 5 of them were freshly made , the other 5 was rotten and starting to stink ... I ordered thru grub hub , so I called the store before ordering , because I didn't see Kale apple slaw as an option , I was told to order the sweet potatoes instead and that she would adjust my order ... I brought the bad kale apple slaws back to the store and she casually said , yeah I made new 5 new ones , instead of throwing out the old ones and making all fresh ones ! , I was told that I would receive a refund for the bad slaws and a price adjustment for my order ... here it is 3 days later and I have received nothing . I will start by saying the staff here are working very hard. But waiting 30+ minutes for a smoothie is unacceptable. Shame on the owner/management. This is a good concept but perhaps unsustainable if they cannot hire enough staff to make food and smoothies promptly. I understand mask wearing is meant to protect the customer but this location discriminates against medically exempt non-mask wearing individuals. Under the term "exempt" and the PA Dept. of Health statement I should be allowed to differ from company protocol since I am under no legal obligation to disclose my otherwise invisible health condition. I went in and got very confrontational reprimands even after I explained I had the documentation. I have been to this establishment before without a problem when I explain I have a medical condition. Plus all the staff were wearing masks (so technically they were protected and there should not have been an issue) and I was plenty far back from the counter, I could have shouted my order from the door if they wanted me to. The company should either put a sign up that says "if you have no mask we will refuse service" so people like me know where we are not welcome OR comply with the official statement from the secretary of health. Yes obviously like any frozen food place during the summer this place is bound to get busy but the staff are always super helpful and very much seem to genuinely want to make sure you have a good experience at their cafe.
