I send friends here, recommend them to whoever asks about my set, and always brag about each tech I get. Usually I'm calling in randomly and last minute asking to come in, so I'm never picky with the techs and they're always able to get me in every time right away. They save my nails and me 10x over and they don't even know it!! They offer complimentary drinks and are always so friendly. I've gotten dozens of long gelx sets here over the years and can say I've rarely ever broken a nail or gotten cut. The gel is always perfectly cured and my designs are PERFECT. Every tech who does my nails envisions my ideas to a T. And it means a lot because my designs are usually not easy to do. With that being said, the price is always reasonable and always around what I'm expecting to spend. There's never any blindsiding or miscommunication when it comes time to pay. And the lil discount for paying in cash always adds the cherry on top. My sets last over a month so I'm coming in like clockwork every 4-5 weeks without miss. Out of all the nail salons in my area I've tried to give a chance to, the ones on the corner of my street, ones next to my laundromat, even the ones I see on instagram, my loyalty is with Chrome. The other nails salons don't top the service and quality that Chrome NailBar delivers to me.

When I pointed out that the flowers were supposed to be pink and purple, she appeared frustrated about having to redo them. I apologized for the misunderstanding and explained that I thought the white was just the base color that would be painted over. After that, I felt uncomfortable with how my service was handled. While doing my cuticle work, the technician nicked my skin twice, and toward the end of the service seemed to be digging the cuticle cutter into my fingers more aggressively. I brought the cuts to management's attention before leaving. I also had concerns about the pricing. My total was $122, and I was told I was receiving a $7 discount, bringing the total to $115. However, the salon advertises a cash discount, and when I offered to pay cash, I was told I could not receive the cash discount because I was already receiving the $7 discount from fingers being cut. This was confusing and did not feel transparent. To be fair, I do like how my nails turned out, and I tipped both technicians because I appreciated the work that was done. However, customer service and professionalism are just as important as the final result. I have experienced similar issues here before, and after this visit I don't feel comfortable returning. I've included photos of the cuts on my fingers as well as the finished nails so others can make their own judgment. I also included a photo from a previous time my cuticle was cut that I brought to their attention which hurt very bad and received a $5 discount.

Because I had my 3-year-old daughter with me (who also got a paid service), I left and called them from the car. They explicitly told me to come back and they would redo them. When I drove all the way back, they flipped the script. They refused to redo them because I left the store. I asked for a simple reshape instead; they said yes on the phone, but once I walked in, they refused again, saying it would make them look worse. It wasn't until I demanded they just take them off completely that they finally agreed to reshape them. Please look at my media. The photos show they look way better after the reshape (going from wide houses to almond), meaning they lied to me just to avoid fixing their mistake. Furthermore, the video shows the terrible application: the nails are angled upward instead of flat, and the pinky is totally crooked. It is a horrible feeling to be treated this poorly by a business you have supported for years. Never again. You first said you could redo them and then said you couldn't. Leo didn't not want to reshape them till I told him to remove them. You did absolutely nothing to help in this incident and only embarrassed me as a customer. Do not come in here talking about policy when you disrespect your clients. Shame on you for your poor response and service.

I came here because of the salon's beautiful work shown in the photos, but if those photos primarily represent the work of the most skilled techs while customers may be assigned to techs with very different skill levels, I think that's something customers should be aware of.
