Now that I'm calm after an extremely negative interaction with Tracy, I can write this review. It was my first time here, since I had lunch next door. Tracy wanted to charge extra for nail cutting during an acrylic fill. I have been doing my nails for years, and never have I been charged for that. Not to mention my nails didn't even need to be cut much. Maybe a centimeter or two since they were already short to begin with. I agreed to pay the extra for nail cutting just so she could continue, but I could tell she was upset since I questioned her pricing. To break the awkwardness, I was just playing on my phone. Texting my friend, checking on my son's baby monitor etc. Tracy then blindly accused me of posting on yelp, yelling at me saying I'm trying to ruin her business, that I will have bad luck because I'm doing this, etc. I told her I wasn't on yelp at all and she just continued to yell and scold me. It was crazy. I could tell she creates such a toxic work place for her workers. I hope the very sweet pedicure lady finds new employment. She was extremely kind and gentle to me. How they have so many positive reviews is beyond me. If you take time to scroll, you can see they also have multiple negative reviews due to hygiene issues, causing infections, appointment issues, customer service issues, and others who have had issues with Tracy directly. There are also tons of fake yelp reviews that yelp does not recommend. You can access those at the very bottom. Reviews from accounts that have no other reviews and no yelp friends. I debated on whether or not I was going to post this, but nobody deserves to be treated the way Tracy treated me based on a blind assumption. Please think twice about coming here. There's a lack of communication here. I made an appointment for a couple of us. When we got there, a guy asked we had an appointment. We said yes and they say there's no appointment. Then one lady said she couldn't do my nails because of my disabled arm. They weren't rude but having the appointment made three days in advance was enough. The lady pointed out my disability would not bring out the best of her work. So we walked out because we felt disrespected. We made an appointment and told them we have someone with a disabled hand. I came in about 20-30 minutes after they opened, and there were already 2 ladies there. The three of us waited no longer than 3 minutes to get our services done. Everyone was so lovely! I got my toes done, and the woman who did my toes was very gentle. Usually people can be aggressive but she really took her time when it came to cutting the nail and cuticles. It's pretty cozy in there and it gets filled up pretty fast, so I recommend coming in early or making an appointment. Otherwise, I think this might be my new spot to get my toes done! read more

This review is specifically for my gel manicure experience. Not gel x but manicure gel. The guy that took care of me was really nice but did not do a good job at all. My skin hurt on some parts that snipped. The color was done unevenly and it burned when I put my hand under the uv light. I asked him to fix it so he called this lady whom I think is the manager to help him fix it. This manager lady would not listen to my concerns ans just say "i know" and goes on doing her thing. Shows me proudly that she "fixed" the issue but she didn't even address what I was trying to point out. So I explain again. She finally listened and then asked the guy to remove the color on those fingers. I reexamine the rest of the nails and found so many other things that were off. So I decided to just have everything removed. I was still calm at this point. The removal went on. I've been in there for almost 2 hours. My thumb showed remnants of the polish so I tell the lady to remove it. She goes at it but keeps asking me if it's "good" but I am still able to see the white so it got a little annoying at this point. Additionally, that part of my thumb started hurting so I twitched and pulled my hand away as a reflex. The next thing I know I was being yelled at by this lady. I understand the situation is frustrating but I don't think I should be yelled at. Then she gaslights me by telling me she's not yelling at me and would never upset her customers. I then showed her an example of how she talked to me and denied that that's what she did while still yelling at me. So I gave up. I felt so attacked and shooken up. I could not stop shaking until I got home. I could not believe I would get treated this way especially since I'm a repeat customer and also human. Like I was not allowed to feel frustrated for the time wasted, the pain I endured, and for sitting through her yelling at me. She only had my pay for my pedicure which was done well by Jenny. I had some gel polish on my nails that needed to be removed, cuticle care, and then began on my gel-x set. I appreciate Tiffany knowing what I wanted and being attentive to detail. First off, I HATE writing negative reviews, but this had to happen. I came in with a friend of mine for a manicure and pedicure. The ladies were really nice. I was really careful to give plenty of time for my nails to dry. However, when I got home, my foot knocked something and it immediately smudged. I was bummed but had no idea what was in store. Later I was sitting on my couch with my feet up and my toes completely messed up. This was four hours after the pedicure. There should have been plenty of time to dry. I'm an extremely busy person and I don't have time for them to fix it. I went in and showed the ladies my toes. I was immediately blamed for putting my shoes on. I told them that I had sandals on for 4 hours and didn't put shoes on at all. I asked for a refund and at first they refused. Eventually they decided to refund $10 just for the paint. This paint is probably years old and that's was it was so smudgy and goey. I paid $87 for a manicure and pedicure. The manicure is alright because I used gel, but my friend used regular paint and hers was also smudging within hours. I absolutely do not recommend this place. I realize these are women that are trying to make a living, but customer service and quality work is what is necessary to run a business. Unfortunately, I've been extremely let down and threw my money away here. read more
