So happy I stopped by Queen of Nails today! I had just gotten back from an event and decided to walk in to get my nails done, and she was able to help me within about 10 minutes, which was amazing. I haven't been here in years, but I remembered how good her work is, and she definitely did not disappoint. She's usually working by herself, but she does such a great job and really takes her time. The salon itself is pretty spacious, clean, and comfortable. I got a French tip gel manicure for only $35, which is honestly such a great price for the quality of work. I definitely appreciated how affordable it was, and I made sure to tip her well because she truly deserves it. My nails came out beautiful, clean, and exactly how I wanted them. Update . I thought I had found my go to spot but I was wrong !!! The owner is very unreliable . You make an appointment she has other clients and makes you wait . You don't make an appt she tells you to call next time . I used to like when she had her old staff even though they were mean to each other which made it awkward at least they took their time .She now has different workers and in my last pedicure the worker cut my toe so bad it wouldn't stop bleeding . Everytime she cleaned it a puddle of blood would form again. I was pretty scared but kept my cool. I left without polish and the owner still charged me for a pedicure with polish . Came back two days later with an appointment !! And she still made me wait a while . Even though the work is decent the place itself is very unprofessional . Time to find a new salon . read more

My friend and I came on a Thursday afternoon without appointments and we were the only people here. I got an acrylic full set with accent finger. Cost = $39 (before tip). I go here every two weeks to get a fill for my acrylic nails, but I only go because of Vanessa. She's really good at the whole fake nails thing..the best I've ever gone to. They last a long time and stay looking new. All the other ladies that work there have disappointed me, but I continue to go because Vanessa is so talented. It takes about an hour to get a fill and she can do pretty much any design on your nails that you could possibly want. A new set with pink and white gel is $35, a fill is about $15 and it's a couple dollars more if you want a cute design. I got a pedicure here once and the nail polish chipped off really quickly, so the only thing I go for are the acrylics. They also do facial waxing but I've never gotten it done. read more

Won't be coming back. The ladies are very rough when dealing with your fingers and toes. They water down their nail polish and my pedicure looks bad around the sides. The woman wouldn't stop clipping at the side of my toenail and it was driving my nuts. It started to hurt there wasn't anything left for her to cut off! They aren't very friendly and I felt awkward for a few customers that came in after me because they weren't welcomed in or asked what they wanted. The place is pretty small and nothing exciting about what's inside. They only had two people working on this Friday morning. Plus I'm really upset because I asked for gel. They don't have gel and instead of her telling me she just went ahead and did them and used regular polish. Plus they didn't even say bye or thank you when I left. Sad and embarrassed by my nails! I got a pedicure and gel nails mani. The pedi was good. One lady cut my cuticles on my hands and she made 3 fingers bleed. It was painful and I almost walked out - wish I did. Then another lady did my gel. I asked for a pink chrome. She literally filed the skin off some of my fingers on already cut up cuticles. When the gel job started to look bubbly and uneven I protested and she said its because I have "natural nails" and it looks better on acrylics. I've gotten my nails done before and actually do my own gel at home so I know what I'm looking at. She also painted up against my cuticles and under my nail by accident which is now hard. My gel is all funky and my cuticles are sore and peeling from too much cutting. I was hoping to treat myself and now I've wasted money and am embarrassed every time I look down at my nails. I have been to this place twice. The first time my experience wasn't so bad. The ladies started speaking in Vietnamese and I think the owner, a man came out and yelled at them to speak English only. I dont care much about the language thing. However the first experience, the lady moved my chair all the way up making me sit awkwardly so she didn't have to strain herself. But anyways, I am Vietnamese, but the majority of the time, people think i'm like Filipino or some sort of other Asian. so if they talk shit, I'm going to understand. So my second time at this place. They ladies were really pushy, i just wanted a regular spa pedicure and they kept on pushing this special extras menu on me. Telling me to pick one and the cheapest one was like 20 dollars and it was for callous removal. They were trying to get me to get a higher packet, telling me, "its very good!" I look at my friend and i'm like why can't I just get a regular pedicure? We ended up getting the pedicure with the callous removal, and the ladies were upset because we didn't want their up sale and they started talking in Vietnamese about how we are copying each other and that our feet were dirty. They just kept on going and going until my friend told them we were Vietnamese and so they were like do you speak it? Yeah I wasn't in the mood for small talks. But their tone change. My friend told them that she has thin skin and for them to be careful with her feet and i'm sitting there and all i hear is ouch ouch ouch. But anyways my friend paid for the pedicures on her card and they were like what about the tip? She said don't worry I have cash. On the way out. I tipped them 2 dollar, threw it on the counter and left. One of the ladies got up and ran over to look , as if we were robbing them. read more

I've gone here off and on for the past couple of years, and after my recent experience, I will NEVER go back. Finding a decent nail salon is a challenge, so I was just sticking to this place because it's local and they don't do a horrible job. BUT... this past time I went changed it all. The ladies there will do everything they can for any customer that is Vietnamese. She told me to wait 10 minutes, which ended up being 30. She sat me down at her station, and had me wait 15 more minutes while she finished up with another client. Which is fine... but then a Vietnamese lady decides to walk right up, say something, sit down, and Vanessa goes to help HER! After I've been waiting. So I asked how much longer it was going to take, and she said, "Well if you don't have time, you can leave." After that comment, I was going to make sure she did my nails. And well. I was livid. But you can't say much because they don't understand much. I was then talked about blatantly for the next 10 minutes because I had said something to her (I heard the keywords "complain" and "30 minutes" with some hand gestures towards me). What I can say for Vanessa... she's good at what she does. That is the ONLY thing I will say that's positive about this place. BUT... she decided to overcharge me a dollar, so I didn't give her any tip. I was so mad. I got a basic manicure (SUPPOSED to be $8) and it's been a few days.. still no scratches. The other ladies here do not do a good job. Go to Vanessa if you want to try this place out... but you have to deal with her attitude. This was my first time at this nail salon. It is a very hole in the wall type of place. Everything about the experience was great. The prices are pretty cheap. I asked for regular nail polish and squared nails. They did everything I asked and were VERY friendly and kind. My nails turned out exactly how I wanted them. They take a little bit longer compared to other salons, but it makes me very happy that they do so. I hate feeling rushed, but at this salon I felt very relaxed, even when they had multiple customers come in. I suggest bringing cash for the tip. The only downside is that the prices aren't very clear and I wish they would change that. Otherwise, my experience was great and I will be coming back! read more

Vanessa did my nails, and first of all I picked a black shimmery color but she then told me it was actually chrome so I said that's okay, but then she messed up on one of my hands and didn't even ask me if I wanted it fixed. She just said "to fix I have to sand down and you don't have time" like, no actually I had time she just didn't want to fix it. She cut my fingers several times but I've never had a bad nail job here until today. I am so mad that I paid 30 dollars so my nails could look like crap.
