This was the best Mother's Day cake from my son! Wow the flavors & creamy frosting not over sweet just perfect fluffiness was excellent! I shared a slice with my 2 elderly neighbors every one loved it! I love this bakery it's a favorite! I love their single serving basque cheesecake! I never pass by without stopping in for something deeelish & fresh! Can't go wrong here!

I've been wanting to try this place and decided to do the cheesecake . It was a little dry for me but I enjoyed the consistency of the crust .

This is another of the popular bakery chain in Henderson. It's located quite close to the new Longhorn steakhouse, so we walked over while waiting for our table. It's quite clean and well kept inside with a large selection of assorted breads, cookies, and pastries. In a cold case you will find quite a selection of assorted cakes both whole cakes and slices. Staff are sort of .. meh. Not terribly friendly but not rude either. We tried a variety of items, and I just finished eating the potato croquette. It was much more "bready" than I am used to and actually had very little filling. I have tried a few other items also including the Black Forest cake - delicious and not overly sweet. The simple sliced white bread is also delicious and makes amazing toast. Overall, this is a very high quality bakery with a wide variety of offerings and is perfect if you don't want your desserts overly sweet!

Today was my errands day and my last stop was at my favorite bakery. My husband wanted to get free drink from using the 85° Bakery app. Of course we also got few delicious pastries. Service was very pleasant and the new cashier lady was very friendly. Ambiance was good as usual, it wasn't too busy and line moved pretty quickly. Small tote bag was too cute so hubby got one for me :P

I genuinely feel lucky to have this 85C Bakery nearby. Compared to the busy Chinatown location, this one is calm, easy to park at, and just as high quality. The breads and drinks are always delicious, and the staff is incredibly kind and helpful. They took the time to help me use my points and find the best deals, which made the experience even better. It's become one of my favorite spots for tea and pastries.

I've been here a few times and overall, I've enjoyed my experiences here. Most recently, I tried the sea salt matcha with oat milk, and it is my favorite drink I've tried so far here. I did ask to get my matcha made with almond milk, but was told they only had soy and oat milk. I'm not sure if they were out that day or if almond milk just isn't offered, but the oat milk still worked well. One of the best things about this place is the huge selection. There are so many drinks and baked goods to choose from. They offer something for everyone. There are savory pastries, sweet pastries, cakes (you can get individual slices), and plenty of breads. Coffee, boba, and matcha. The bakery section always looks fresh and well-stocked, never like it's been sitting out for days or anything. Service has been consistently good and the prices are very reasonable and affordable. However, there's a lot of foot traffic and I've noticed sometimes it takes a while for someone to clean tables crumbs and what not off tables after customers leave. You can order at a kiosk, at the register, or online for pickup. I also like that you can grab a tray cafeteria-style and choose your pastries before checking out. There is also plenty of parking since this is located in a shopping plaza. Now, I willll say that the drinks here are VERY sweet, which is fitting because the cups and the wall says "sweeten your life." Next time, I'll definitely ask for less sweetener in whatever I get, but even so, the drinks taste good.

Got their new drinks: strawberry green tea with sea salt foam and strawberry de leche. Both were yummy and refreshing. I like how I can taste the fresh strawberries. The new bread strawberry matcha Bread was ok not that great. Not much matcha flavor it was more for the color. Too much bread over strawberry filling.

This guy is more than likely racist and will make you wait 30 minutes for a drink after asking him 3 times about the same order.

Came back randomly and they hit me with the star service! Good Hokkiado buns and amazing drinks. Thanks Emily and staff for the great service!

Lovely spot with Asian pastries and sandwiches. Coffees are average but the app is faulty. Signed up for deals on their apps and they didn't even work. Managers made it happen but took a sec to sort out. Prices on some of the items are a good value. Friendly staff and order comes out just the way I wanted it

Got their boba milk tea and matcha latte. 85c is a comfy cafe with good service and really tasty drinks. I like how the drinks aren't too sweet. The employees were really friendly and I got my drinks really quick. Would recommend!

I have been to different locations before so I know the different items they have. My favorite is the sea salt coffee and I have a few different pastries that I love as well. They are always consistent. It can get busy here but I like that they have the option to order drinks ahead of time online before arriving. It's usually pretty quick. The location is convenient too!

Love that they have this cafe here because we would go to the one in Shanghai Plaza and it's less of a drive for us!! Upon entering I liked how I could go order drinks at the kiosk while my husband went to look at the pastries. So many options to choose from and let me tell you our favorite one item is the Choco Buns. If you love chocolate this would be something I recommend. The chocolate filling is delectable with the right amount of chocolate inside. We are definitely going back to try even more different items. I got to try the strawberry matcha latte and I plan to get it less sweet than the normal amount but it was delicious with strawberry pieces on the bottom. My husband went to the cashier to pay for our pastries and said that they were welcoming and fast. I enjoyed how spacious inside was; there are tables and chairs to sit on. I loved seeing the sign they had so I had to take a picture with it and my drink (: It was truly a vibe to "Sweeten Your Life"

Every visit to this Henderson location has been a disappointment. The staff is not friendly. Today my drinks were poorly made and under-filled.

Brandon and John were so kind and helpful when ordering, guiding us through their menu and pastry options. They truly brought the meaning of "kapamilya" so shoutout to them!! We ended up ordering a Pizza Croissant and Pistachio Banana Bread, which were both delicious! The Pizza Croissant was just the right amount of savory, which contrasted nicely with the nutty and sweet flavor of the Pistachio Banana Bread. We also ordered a classic Ensaymada, which is this fluffy bread with a light cream on top! Get it warmed, and it is SOOOO good to pair with your coffee. As for our drinks, we ordered a Ferrero Latte, a Pistachio Latte, and a Flat White. The Flat White really showcased the quality of their beans, which was only enhanced in the lattes. The Ferrero was silky smooth, and honestly tasted like a melted Ferrero Rocher. The Pistachio was nutty and subtle, which complemented the Ferrero greatly. If you want a taste of that Filipino warmth, definitely stop by Middle Black Sheep! We definitely plan on coming back to try the rest of the menu, and so should you.

After ordering our drinks, we let the employee know that we wanted to look at the pastries and place that part of our order afterward since we were checking with coworkers to see if anyone wanted anything. Despite there being no one else in line, we felt rushed while deciding. The interaction became even more uncomfortable when the cashier asked the customer behind us if they wanted the last pastry we were considering before we had finished ordering. At that point, we ended up ordering only two pastries out of the six we were considering so we could wrap things up and leave. We ordered a latte and a matcha. The latte tasted more like drip coffee than a specialty latte, and the matcha was fairly lackluster. In my opinion, it's worth driving a little farther to Aware Coffee for drinks. That said, the pastries were excellent. They were flaky, delicious, and tasted like they were made with high quality ingredients. While the pastries were tasty, I wouldn't recommend this location. There's so many great coffee shops in the valley with super friendly staff! Not really worth the bad vibes.

But I have been here three times and every time I have tried to order, it took SO DAMN LONG to get my coffee, that I just can't in good faith, leave a 5 star review. Every time I have gone in, there's one person doing everything, taking the orders, making food and making coffees. That's certainly not fair to your staff for one, who probably don't make much money and it's STRESSFUL when you're working as fast as you can, but people are waiting who haven't had their coffee. I spent 25 minutes waiting the first time and almost 40 minutes the second time (40 minutes!!!) and the last time I walked in, saw a packed cafe and NO ONE had coffee in front of them - so I just walked out. The coffee was just okay too, it wasn't hot enough the second time I went and my friends coffee had the wrong milk in it and she couldn't drink it. You can be 2 of these things to be successful: if your coffee is expensive, you need fast service and delicious coffee. You can have slow service, but it needs to be well priced and tasty. But you CANNOT have high prices, mediocre coffee AND slow service. This explains the 'give us a 5* review and show us' trick they need to do, because otherwise people like myself aren't going to go back. There are so many other great coffee places around - if you're in a rush don't go here. The atomosphere is too quiet too, you can hear everyones conversation if anyone is having a conversation. There's no music/background lofi on or anything and it's a TINY cafe. It's a little uncomfortable actually, although it does look beautiful and whimsical and cute. I can't speak on the food, I never got to try and and based on my previous experiences - I won't be either.

I love a buckwheat crepe and there's actually a place in town that I just love their version. At Le Cafe Du Val, they do prefer to cook theirs a little more on the softer side which I didn't realize. After a bite or two, I went and asked if this was typically how their galette is cooked. It was confirmed that yes, they do prefer it softer. They offered to remake mine which I initially declined but they insisted as they wanted me to be happy with it. So I agreed. I still found their version decent, but not exceptional. * Short Ribs Shakshouka $17.99 - This was on their Specials menu and was served with 7 pieces of baguette slices. I found a space and only had about a two-minute walk to Public Works. The space is industrial but cozy, and I love the little community library in the red phone booth. That's such a cute touch and very on-brand for a neighborhood spot. It also turns into a wine bar at night. I ordered the iced matcha honey latte with almond milk. It was good, but definitely on the sweeter side. Almost milkshake-like. (Not frozen, just thicker and sweeter than a traditional matcha). I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for an earthy or classic matcha. The texture was a bit grainy with some settling at the bottom, and I did get a small clump in one sip. Not a big deal, just noticeable. If I had to guess, they use a pre-sweetened matcha powder. They don't advertise having pure or ceremonial matcha, so I'm not too pressed. Just sharing my experience. I remember visiting once but maybe or maybe not buying a drink, then just never returning since it was a bit out of the water. But I relocated to a closer Henderson neighborhood and started checking out some of the nearby casinos, and it just seemed like a good idea to stop by today... and take advantage of a casino partnership as well. I tried two drinks. The Cold Brew ($7.00, 24 oz) felt like a dark roast at first but expressed mostly fruity notes later on. It was certainly smooth and low in bitterness and acidity. I also wanted to try a latte since that tends to be where these cafes get the most creative. The Cuban Honey ($7.00, 16 oz) was the recommendation of the employee at the register, and it was simple and tasty enough. Milk, honey, and cinnamon are some very classic and comforting flavors, and they're beautifully balanced in this latte. I was also interested in trying a quiche ($5.95), so I did. They come as a compact "personal" size and apparently just get heated warm for you even if you're taking them to-go. The Florentine is definitely spinach-forward but also seems to have mushrooms and caramelized onions. The crust is suitable, the egg custard isn't the most amazing, and it leans a bit salty overall, but it's an enjoyable food option. I probably blew past the parking lot which I'm vaguely aware of, but that's because parking was actually available on the street. Some spots were marked for 12 min only, but there were plenty of open unmarked spots a few yards up. The place was almost empty around Saturday lunch too. I have no idea why since it seemed quiet enough for a study or work spot. Public Works has filled a coffee-seeking niche in this area of Henderson for a long time, and hopefully they'll do so for years to come. If you play at Emerald Island or Rainbow Club, ask the casino about using points here since it's as good as money.
