Since I discovered them, I haven't left Naples without a few pairs of sandals (in hot weather I like to change often). Unfortunately, on one pair of Naots a buckle broke after wearing only 2-3 times. I called from home (2000 miles away) and told the manager about it. She ordered a replacement pair for me and held them for several months until I returned and exchanged the old pair. I am still wearing the second pair, plus I bought it in a different color on that trip. One time, I asked about a style of Naots that I had and love and knew had been discontinued. She pointed me to the clearance section of the where there were sandals with the same footbed as my favorite. Eureka! Two pairs, in two different colors in my size.

Well organized, quiet environment and best of all the employees are not pushy they do inform you that they're just there in case you need them. I did Noticed they had an incredible assortment of shoes and socks for kids. Since Christmas is around the corner. You may want to keep in mind before the rush that there are some really good buys at this store for your little ones or teenagers. The men's department had a good selection from sneakers, sandals, boots and sport shoes such as deck shoes. Lots of purses and accessories for the ladies and for the children. Chepo's is located over by the Labelle airport in a little strip mall with easy parking. Walking into the shop, it's set-up nicely, clean, smells like leather (which we loved) and has a decent selection of boots. However, we couldn't get anyone to come out and help us. Walking in, there was a lady and a little girl (maybe 5yrs old). The lady said hi and the little girl went running to the back while the lady sat there fixated on a Spanish soap opera. We were in the store probably a solid 5 min and the lady never made an effort to communicate with us, help us or get someone from the back. She just sat watching her soap opera. It was really odd, particularly if she's related to the owner/worker. We were the only customers in the store so it's not like they were off helping others. The little girl never came back and nobody ever came out. We tried to say hello to the back but still nobody. We finally left. I'm assuming this lady was a relative given her little girl went running to the back. If she perhaps didn't speak English, she could have still tried talking w/us (we understand quite a bit of spanish), motioning to us, use of google translate....or she could have said 1 minute and gone to the back herself. I was greeted as I came into the store, and immediately noticed the huge selection of different brands and numbers of shoes along the far wall in the fitting area. Matt was an excellent employee who sized my feet using a pretty cool 3-D imaging machine that I had to stand on for about 5 seconds. The information was then sent to his handheld computer and, voila, it showed a 3-D view of my feet and a recommendation of shoe size taking into account length, width, and arch - pretty cool! Matt brought out 3 different brands of shoes for me to try on - Saucony, Karhu, and Brooks. Of the 3, I ended up buying the Brooks (Glycerin 23). They fit perfectly and it felt like I was walking on air. To be honest, I've always been a Brooks fan over the years and this shoe just reinforced my perception of what a great shoe they make. The price for these is on the upper side of the market (just under $200 with tax), but actually pretty competitive with other stores. Their store is located in the Bell Tower shopping mall and perpendicular across from Burntwood Tavern. They are locally owned and they expressed their appreciation for me shopping with them. If you're in need of a good pair of walking, hiking, or running shoes I recommend you check them out!

Kathie not only has clothes, but there are also shoes, purses, jewelry, and all sorts of adorable things. Kathie is so sweet and helpful. She easily found our sizes and let us try on some new items she had just received. What fun! I just loved how our purchases were wrapped in tissue paper and placed in the cutest little bags.
