Similarly, wait times are about what would be expected in relation to the volume of business at a given time (when not busy, about 20-minutes). This location is primarily geared for take-out, though there is a television near the ordering counter and some seating, as well. Like most to-ho pizza places, what the physical ambience lacks is made up for by the enticing, mouth-watering aromas drifting out from the kitchen. But something has changed with the preparation/quality of the pizzas lately. Pizza not cheesy like before. Drier crust and tasteless no matter how much Parmesan cheese and peppers you use. You can tell by looking at the pizza it is dry and not a lot of cheese like before. They say the Wisconsin cheese is what makes the pizza however in the last couple visits my pizzas have definitely lacked most of the cheese that is normally on the pizzas. Definitely not worth it. Too many other pizza places near or in La Verne alone. Not sure about their other locations, I can only say about the La Verne location. This place rocks! I was camping at Bonelli Bluffs RV Resort & Campground (see my review of them) and saw them delivering to someone. I asked and they said that the pizza was good. During my most recent trip there, I decided to give them a try, after all, we were "glamping", so why not. Now, I'm originally from NY and a bit of a pizza snob, however, I was very pleasantly surprised on how good it tasted. I ordered an extra cheese and pepperoni and also an antipasto salad. The pizza had just enough cheese and pepperoni. The salad had enough cold cuts, tomatoes, cheese, etc to make it delicious. The true test is how it tastes the next day cold. It passed with flying colors. I pulled a slice out of the fridge and ate it cold and it was still good, even cold. I'm sold! The guy at the counter with hat and glasses was very cool and friendly. I had 2 slices of pizza and they were pricy but huge. The pizza was hot and toasty when I got it, so they tossed it back in the oven before serving it. They were very accommodating by providing cheese, peppers and utensils. I've been to various pizza companies and this one lives up to the chain. The only complaint is that the pepperoni slice wasn't as loaded with toppings as they used to be. I usually order their lunch combo sandwich. It's a decent price and you get a bag of chips and soda (I ask for a can of soda). They are always fast typically 10-15 minutes. I get the turkey and cheese with a side of the Italian dressing. So good. I only give it four because depending on what day you go you can get the super fresh bread or the older bread. I have gotten harder bread before and it doesn't taste as good but when it's fresh it has the crispy top but moist center. Yum read more
