This is my second review for Petrillo's Pizza and I just have to say the service is so good, you can tell they care about making their customers happy. I ordered a medium pizza, 10 wings, and mozzarella sticks to-go. Firstly, I had asked if they could give me all flats for the wings and they accommodated that request. The mozzarella sticks were piping hot with a great cheese pull and per usual the pizza was great. Secondly, I walked in 10 minutes earlier to let them know I was there and they immediately handed off my food. I will be back very soon! read more

We've been going to Petrillo's in Glendora for years. Their food is consistently delicious. Pizza, lasagna and baked pastas are a few of our favorites but we ALWAYS pare what ever we order with THE BEST minestrone soup... and don't forget their bread. Family-owned pizza spot serving classic, old-school Italian-American comfort food. The kind of place you grow up with, keep coming back to, and eventually introduce to the next generation. Yes, it's that iconic. We ordered the specialty pizza, fettuccine with Italian sausage, and lasagna. Everything was really good. I'd recommend eating the fettuccine right away and in one sitting because once it cools down, it's not as great. The sausage is an added cost but very much worth it. It is SO flavorful. The lasagna was great too, though a bit sweet for my taste (my husband loved it). Pastas come with bread and a choice of salad or soup. I went with salad but wish I had picked the soup. Definitely doing a do-over soon. I also met the owner, Mike, and we chatted a bit about family. I love supporting places where people are down-to-earth and conversations feel like you're catching up with old friends. I'll definitely be back to support this family business. read more

Sooooo.... Last night our taco guy Good Time Tacos cancelled on us 30 minutes before the show up time. Graduation party 140 guests. Y'all stepped up and KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK. We went on Dec 30, 2025. My friend had heard the pizza was good so after a long day the WB studio tours we were starving. The place was packed, long line and phones ringing like crazy. But the two people working the front were doing an amazing and friendly job all things considered. I see comments about the dining area and although there's no table service you can still order at the counter and take it to eat in the dining room. It's really not a big deal in my opinion. Still nice and clean on both sides. Ok so food garlic bread was good soft on the inside and crunchy outside. The fried calamari my friend enjoyed a lot the sauces that came with them had a tiny kick which was good, I just wasn't in the mood for that. The star of the show is definitely the pizza. The meat portions are very generous, crust and sauce are just right and you love to see a cheese pull. It had 3 kinds of meats bacon sausage and one more I can't remember but it's on the wall near the counter. Was able to take some home and pizza holds up for next day leftovers. I would comeback but just order ahead of time to avoid wait 40 mins, but you can have a beer while you wait like I did! read more

We went to the Glendora location today (December 2025). Petrillo's has always been a favorite in our home. We took our daughter today to show her the place where "mama had her last meal before becoming a mama" and while the food was still great, we were sad to see that the restaurant itself is no longer functioning. You now have to order at the takeout counter and have the option of eating at what used to be the restaurant. I did appreciate that it was clean, still had the same decor, and the music playing was the same but it was a bit sad. I am sure we will be back, but at least the next time we will know what to expect. read more

Everything here is good! The pizzas, (fully loaded specialty) yum... lasagna, fettuccine, baked ziti, ravioli, calamari, antipasto... you really can't go wrong. The quality is always consistent whether we're dining in or grabbing takeout. Totally worth the long line at times lol. Tuesday specials are the best. Large 1 topping pizza for $20 with the purchase of an appetizer. Being it was my first time here I didn't realize the large feeds 6-8 people. When I showed up to pick up the pizza I was surprised at its size. I was able to feed two families with this pizza. I ordered the garlic bread which is delicious and turned it into croutons for a Cesar salad. The pepperoni on the pizza is really good and complimented the pizza perfectly. OMG EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS! Grew up going to Petrillos in San Gabriel. Happened to find the one in Glendora on the neighborhood app. Fresh made bread daily, fresh made lasagna, the pizza, minestrone soup, salad, everything was fresh and delicious! The service was top notch! Friendly and helpful! They packed our leftovers and the owner came out to greet us. This quality and service is hard to come by AND at GREAT prices! MUST VISIT and dine in! Petrollos has been in business since 1954. The secret must be in the sauce! We ordered a large pizza (half was the Specialty and half Bianca). This combination will fulfill nearly everyone's dietary preferences. The Specialty can be called meat lovers (Salami, Pepperoni, Italian Sausage), wirh diced onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, garlic and tomato sauce. The Bianca half does not have red or white sauce. The dough is brushed with olive oil, topped with Romano and Mozzarella cheeses, fresh Basil, and Diced Tomatoes. We added the "Sampler" which was breaded Zucchini and Mozzarella Sticks and Spicy Buffalo Wings. If children will partake, ask for regular wings. You don't need to go far for an Italian / Pizza / Pasta restaurant. This neighborhood pizza place is one to keep. We were greeted warmly and seated fast. The place is dimly lit. It really is challenging to read the menu, but we were able to manage. The food served was fresh. We loved the calamari and the eggplant parmigiana. The pizza is huge and didn't cost us an arm and a leg. We are definitely going back either to dine in or to pick up. We are just waiting to crave for it once again. Lol. read more

We love the pizza here! But tonight we had them cater a birthday party. We had lasagna, mozzarella sticks, salad and fresh bread. I have never had such good fresh French bread. Made the mistake of trying this place out again. Indoor dining is now dead , indoor dining is no longer staffed everything is do it yourself takeout only. You must walk inside take out first , let them know you will dining inside . You place your order and go back and sit down and they provide you with a pager to let you know when you must walk back to the take out to pickup your boxed up food. Drinks are canned only and will have to be bought at take out. Inside dining are paper plated ,napkins ,plastic knives and forks are provided ( server and set up yourself). Went into Petrillo's on 3/12 thinking my family and I will be having a nice sit down lunch, when we arrived we were notified by a family that Petrillo's is now To Go only on the dining side. We were advised by the other patrons to order on the To Go side and that we can still eat in the dining area in the To Go boxes. One employee said that there is not enough business to have food servers in the dining area however while we were sitting there eating out of our To Go boxes, 4 different patrons walked into the dining area waiting to be seated. I advised them of the new style of business for this establishment and they appeared disappointed as we were. One couple said they will not be going to the Glendora location anymore. read more

I've been enjoying Petrillos pizza since age five . My family dined often at the San Gabriel location. Since then I drive 30 minutes to pick up pizza at the Glendora location . I have to say I'm disappointed for a second time ? Petrillos medium and large pizzas have always been cut in uniformed rectangular pieces . The last two times the pizza was cut in oblong uneven pieces ? Like someone just randomly ran the pizza cutter across the pizza ????? Square , small triangular pieces ????
