Horrible experience. Had an appt with Kevin. After waiting 20 mins for my appt. The receptionist sat me with another tech to start my fill. Kevin never found the time for me / my appt. I go to pay and get a made up price. When I question the higher cost, the receptionist tells me that I got a gel fill. I did not, I got an acrylic fill. She talks to my nail tech and says "oops - you actually had two broken nails". That was news to me. The tech never said anything about broken nails. Will never go back. read more

Walked in for two classic pedis and got completely blindsided in the cost. my boyfriend got a sloppy quick set qnd I got a deep cleanse pedicure. 1st Visited for a Powder Gel soak off and Gel manicure. The technician they gave me was very inexperienced and took 5 layers of my actual nail off. I was also surprised by his unsanitary tools and methods. I left there with a hang nail that over next few days would become infected. Shocking considering this place seems so legit and prices are ridiculously high. read more

I used to love this salon. Went there numerous times. Recommended them to everyone. My experience on 10/5 changed my mind. I booked an appointment the day before for a volcano pedicure. Received a text to confirm. When I got there, it was very busy. I checked in and waited and waited. I was then told that I did not have an appointment and that I actually booked an appointment for 11/5. Foolishly believing this I offered to cancel and leave. I was told "No, you we can squeeze you in." This should have been a red flag because walk-ins were being turned away. I felt extremely bad for putting them out to accommodate me so I opted for a simple pedicure instead. It was one of the most uncomfortable experiences I have ever had. I have a problem with one of my feet-nerve issues. I tried to explain that my foot could not just relax only have extreme pressure and an additional pad to separate my toes. The pain was excruciating. I would have let it go. It's hard for people to understand how it feels. Again, I felt really bad about disrupting their schedule with my "wrong" appointment. That is until now. I wanted to make sure my "11/5"appointment was canceled. Just checked my text and it clearly said my appointment was indeed 10/5 not 11/5. I blame myself for not checking my text then and there. I am not an unreasonable person. If there are scheduling issues and you can't honor my appointment, just be honest. I can always come back at a better time. What I can't tolerate is being lied to. No response is necessary because I will not be coming back. My daughters and I had been loyal and satisfied customers of La Vie Nail Salon until a recent experience with the front desk receptionist (a young woman with curly brown hair) significantly changed our opinion. Due to her unprofessional behavior and poor attitude, the salon has lost three regular clients. To summarize: We had two scheduled appointments--one for a fill and the other for a regular manicure and pedicure. We arrived on time. The receptionist took my daughter in for her appointment approximately 10 minutes late and informed me that I could sit nearby, as my technician was running behind. Another 10 minutes passed, and I was then told that my assigned technician had not yet arrived. The receptionist suggested that the technician working on my daughter--who was described as fast--could complete my services once he was finished. Initially, I agreed, but soon realized this would cause unnecessary delays, so I went to the front desk and politely informed the receptionist that I would prefer to reschedule. At that point, everything seemed fine. Unfortunately, what followed was extremely disappointing. My daughter witnessed the receptionist speaking negatively about me to the manager, while making eye contact with her and clearly aware that she could hear the conversation. I had not raised my voice or shown any frustration, so it was particularly upsetting to be spoken about in such a disrespectful and unprofessional manner. After her service, my daughter approached the manager and expressed her concerns about the receptionist's conduct. The manager acknowledged the issue and offered 10% off our next visit. However, based on this experience, we do not plan to return unless changes are made to their front desk receptionist. There are many salons in the area, and we believe we can find one that values its customers and maintains a higher standard of service. read more

I give this place a 5 stars it's very clean and nice they are also very sweet they ask me every time if I would like a drink or something and if I ask for something special or specific they get it done and try to get it on point and if they don't think it looks good they will try to fix it to make sure that it's perfect I love this place. read more
