An appointment can be made to any available Quest center. This particular location was located in a strip mall near an HEB plus. Parking was sufficient and easily accessible. Walked into a small waiting area and checked into a self check kiosk. Make sure to bring your DL and insurance card to scan. A tv screen on the wall provided coverage of calling order. Someone would open the door and call name of next person to be helped. Valeri assisted me. She was pleasant and professional. She made sure to double check appropriate identification and blood draw was quick and efficient. Results available in 3-5 days. Will come back here again if needed for further labs.

It only takes a few minutes to make it but it makes a huge difference when you visit QD. This specific location is located on the third floor, across from the Methodist Hospital Metropolitan. As you enter their office, they have an electronic check-in where you'll need to scan your ID and insurance card. I was so happy to have made an appointment because even though there were 10 other people waiting, I was the first one they called after I checked in. The staff that helped me was really nice and we went over all the tests that I needed done and made sure everything was correct. The whole procedure was absolutely painless and got out of there really quick. I am definitely going to be coming back to this location for any future tests.

She was immediately taken back for a CT scan and was provided zofran for her nausea. The provider spent a great amount of time discussing symptoms and plan of care with me. A skull fracture couldn't be ruled out, but a follow up x-ray once we got home did indeed confirm a skull fracture. I'm so thankful for the nurses and doctor who were working this day and took great care of my girl! Her situation could've been so much worse, but with the quick thinking of the professionals on site, she was ready to go home a few hours later. I would also like to add that the facility was very clean. If you are there awhile, they also have an area to grab a small snack for you or your loved one.
