As soon as you walk in, you see a neat and clean reception area. I didn't have an appointment, but the receptionist said they accept walk-ins and directed me to check in at the kiosk. After checking in, I waited about five minutes before being called by the receptionist. She verified the name of the doctor who ordered my labs and directed me inside. The blood draw was quick and easy, and I was out within a few minutes. I received the results for one of the tests within two hours, and all of my results were available by the end of the day. No appointment needed, no wait time, quick service, and fast results...what more could you ask for? Definitely a great experience!

Located within the hospital/medical plaza area, it was super easy to find and surprisingly efficient from start to finish. From check-in to completion, the whole visit took about 25 minutes total -- and that included maybe a 10-minute wait at most. Once they called him back, the lab draw itself was done in under five minutes. The staff worked quickly but still stayed professional, kind, and organized, which made the experience feel seamless. As someone who works in the medical field, I don't see this level of efficiency very often, so I truly appreciated how well everything flowed. Prior to Covid, everyone waited for their appointment in the small sitting room. Now, check-in and chairs for waiting are set up just a few steps away from the elevator stops on the second floor. At the desk, you need to provide your picture ID and insurance card. If you have the script for the blood draw, you hand it over at this time. The AdventHealth employee will point where your signature is needed and inform you kindly that you will be called in a short time. When you're name is called, you walk down to the suite, enter, and hand over the paperwork you initially completed. The wait is short before being called and instructed which room to head to. This is a small office, so no fear of getting lost! Every phlebotomist has been kind and has made drawing blood less difficult (because, who really enjoys these appointments?!?). Online or app scheduling for an appointment is convenient and worked well for me. However, I have also found that when walk-in's are welcome (check the status on the app or online), I've experienced reasonable wait times. I found the whole process fairly easy to work with and have experienced good service here.

She mentioned I needed to do a stool test but said I couldn't do it there but didn't elaborate on what I needed to do to complete it . So Im waiting for my doctor to explain but not sure if I needed a sample cup or something from them. I decided to take the leap of faith and make an appointment. I am glad that I did. I live in Apopka and this office is less than 10 minutes away from me, so its location was important, They have late hours until 8pm on weekdays and are open on the weekend. If you are familiar with the Advent Health system, all of your medical information is accessible through their website or their app you can download on your phone. I love that if I get bloodwork done at one of their locations, it's almost immediately available in their portal. I can access my past appointments and if I have ever gone to a Centra Care or the Advent ER, all of that is available. So far it's been great. Even if I don't always see the same doctor, all of the notes are in the system. Every time I have had an appointment, the doctor or the assistant has been very caring, helpful and informative.

Hunt club medical had become too busy most of the time; they also took walk ins tho took people w/ appts first. It was hard to get in to see the Dr,although the PA's were excellent. I have been to Emery several times in the past for the same procedure without issue, but a new policy does not allow me to make an appointment without bringing my order to them (wasted trip), sending it via email (not secure in my opinion), or having my doctor contact them (waste of doctor's time). Asked to speak with someone higher to explain my thoughts on this and the office manager informed me that she could not change this procedure and while she did not make the policy she would be sure it was enforced. I am not a child and know how to read a simple order and verify the information on it, should they ask, and in fact read it to her. DON'T use this facility for your imaging needs, there are other options in the area that trust you as an adult to make an appointment.
